Later that night, viren was in his room studying some files for his new case, even though he was working his mind was occupied by her thoughts; all he could see was her million dollar smile, all he could hear was her melodious laugh, all he could feel was her magic touch. He was completely engrossed in her, but the thought of marrying someone else made his eyes well up. Just then vanshika entered his room.

Vanshika: Viren beta?

Viren: yh maa

Vanshika: I just wanted to ask, are you happy?

Viren: yh maa, why do you ask?

Vanshika: Just like that, all I ever want is for my sons to be happy.

Viren just gave her a weak smile and continued with his work, he knew that if he looked into her eyes he will blurt out the truth, breaking Jeevika's promise. Vanshika sensed that something was wrong, but though that it was probably due to his work.

The next day in Hrishikesh, Madan's friend who was a marriage broker had come over with photos of boys, in order to set an alliance for Jeevika, beeji wanted jeevika to marry someone in town because she didn't want to miss jeevika too much or separate the two sisters. While the family were busy looking at the photo's, jeevika silently went to her room crying, she took out a photo of her and viren and kissed viren in the photo, apologising to him for betraying him. Manvi witnessed all of this and decided she had to do something; her sister had always looked after her, stood up for her, now it's her turn to do something for her sister.
