Chapter 5
The restlessness had waked him up early, he made his way down the staircase when he noticed a steamy cup already placed at the kitchen counter, he proudly marched as an owner to it, and took his sip... Immediately banged the cup at its place with a loud "what the"... OP hurried and stood in front of him
OP - "Sir, yeh toh khushi Maam ke liye tha"
Arnav - "kya! Khushi subha subha teh piti hai ???"
OP - "nahi sir aaj maam alag se isse banane ke liye boli"
Arnav - " Lekin yeh itna meetha kyu ha?"
OP - " kyunki Sir, ye hot choclate hai"
Arnav - "Unbelivable; next tym se isme sugarfree mila dena, aur usse batana mat,... Now go and get my coffee"
OP - "jee! Sir"
He silent made his way and sat on the sofa... Lazyly staring at the garden.. It took him few minutes to drift back to his childhood...
FLASHBACK
The 10 year old Arnav made his way to the playground to meet his so called "GIRFRIEND", as his di has termed. He was about to enter the gate when he saw the pink frocked skinny girl sitting on the swing and in company with some other boy...
Soon, the boy offered her to push the swing, she placed herself properly waiting for the boy sway the swing... But the boy pushed her instead off the swing and ran away laughing...
Arnav was about to get the guy for some serious charge back.. When he noticed khushi sprawled on the ground with a bleeding arm. He immediately ran to her. She looked at him with watery dove shaped eyes and said "Dekho nah Arnav, Mujhe lag gayi, Ab main khel nahi sakti hu, it hurts.." with that she was crying.
"Tu Ruk," with that he took out his white handkercheif with his initials and tied it on her wound "Ab ronna badh kar"
Khushi pouted her lips and said "pehele mujhe silk la ke doh"
she is looking so cute he thought. coming back he said...
" Arre!! Kal hi toh diya tha"
"Toh kya hua, wo toh kal hi khatam ho gaya tha...mujhe aaj bhi chahiye..."
"Maine tujhe iss hafte mein 3 silk diya nah, ab esse jada khaigi toh daat kharab ho jaenge"
"nai nai nai, Mujhe kuch nai sunna hai...mujhe bus chahiye aur abhi, Nai toh mei aur zor se roungi" with that she started loudly no 'yelling' according to Arnav, coz all the other children were staring at them and laughing...
"Aacha, tu rukh main lata hu, yahi betthi rehnah" with that he ran to the nearest shop and bought her a CADBURY SILK
Khushi immediately started gobling it...
"Acha chal, main tujhe ghar chor deta hu" and khushi gave him a toothy chocolaty smile and held his hand...
Both started walking hand in hand along the footpath whilst the laughing sun hide behind the clouds...
"Pata hai Arnav, jab main dukhi hoti hu, toh Amma mujhe hot chocolate deti ha, aur tum cadbury; isliye main tumse aur Amma se sabse zaada pyaar karti hu"
" Tu mujhse pyaar karti ha?" asked Arnav while scraching his head
"Ha, bohot" said the gleeful innocent khushi...
"yeh dekh tera ghar aagya"
"ok! TATA Arnav, niche dekho"
"kya" he asked by slightly bending down
"Arre,thora aur niche aaona.." arnav reached her level.. Khushi immediately gave him a moisty choclately kiss on his check and ran as fast as she could.
"Tuh rukh, Khushi ki bacchi" arnav screamed at her her back.
khushi showed him her tounge and turned and did her bum dance and ran inside her house..
FLASHBACK ENDS
"Sir, apki coffee thandi ho rahi hai, main garam kar duh" askd a confused OP
Coming back to present he realised present situation, where everything was mess.
