Part 6

Manvi was very happy after meeting Charles parents as they approved her for their son. They liked her bubbly nature and attitude towards the life for which Charles had fallen head over heels…..She had never been so much happy in her life as Charles had everything which she dreamt to be in her prince. But one day all her dreams and happiness crashed down in flinch of second, when she saw him kissing a girl in his cabin. Her dream…her trust was broken by him. She was shattered to core. Charles tried pacifying her but manvi broke all contacts and their relationship with him as she was scared of falling for his lies again which he told her from the day they met. He used to call her everyday but manvi ignored his every call…after getting fed up she changed her number and warned him to stay away from her…..

Virat and Ayesha tried bringing her back like she used to be before but they failed as she barely stayed at home. She worked tirelessly day and night and never talked about that day again. While manvi was unhappy and Virat was sad for her, but someone was very happy. Ayesha…she was happy to see Charles going out of her di's life. She still had ray of hope that one day she could see Virat and manvi getting together.

Virat was sipping coffee thinking, when his trails of thoughts were broke by Manvi's voice….

Manvi:- Virat….. I m going office…. Bye!!!!

Virat:- manvi… wait…..

Manvi: - (with stern face) if u want to ask the same question like always…..then my answer is I M FINE…… like always….

Virat: - (in loud voice...coming near her) no u r not manvi…..for heaven sake, get out from it…..

Manvi: - (in calm voice) yes Virat… I m already moved on in my life. I have forgotten everything the way he forgot…. (Getting immersed in her thoughts)

Virat:- if that's the thing… then why r u avoiding me and Ayesha and why do u stay late night in office.

Manvi:- it's because I m have lots of projects to handle..….

Virat:- don't lie manvi…. I talked with Stacy, she told me u intentionally wait in Ur office late night.

(After a pause) Charles broke Ur heart but u r punishing urself for his deeds. Stop doing this with urself manvi….. it has been more than a month

Manvi: - listen Virat, I m over with him. He don't affect me at all… (With expressionless face) and now if u r over… should I leave for work? As I m getting late….

Just then Ayesha came down running towards manvi….

Ayesha:- thank god u r still home. I thought u left like always…..

Manvi:- what happen angel?? (Getting worried)

Ayesha:- (smiling) u know di… u called me angel after so many days…..

Manvi saw at her guiltily…. She knew she was so much immersed in her own problems that she totally forgot about Ayesha…..

Manvi:- (keeping hand on her one cheek) I m sorry…..

Aisha:- its k di…..but if u really want to rectify ur mistake…. Then today u have to come home early…

Manvi:- why?

Ayesha:- because we all going for a movie tonight and I even bought tickets for all three of us. It's a horror movie. We will have blast like we used have before… what say?

Manvi:- sorry dear, actually…

Ayesha:- (completing her sentence) I have lot of work…blah..Blah… I know di… its Ur regular excuse. But for me di… just for once… please… (Making puppy face)

Virat:- I think ur di is scared of movie so she is not coming….

Manvi:- no… I m not…. I m not scared of ghosts…

Virat: - oh really then why did u scream seeing ghost in ur hostel room in college?

Manvi:- who told u I screamed… wait…. (Thinking a bit) it was u…. isn't it?

Virat:- (laughing) yes… and u looked so funny with ur wide open eyes and screaming "mom mujhe bachao!!!" (Mimicking Manvi's voice)….Omg!!!! I will never forget that night and Ur scary face which looked not less than any ghost…

Manvi:- I was telling radhi that it was u… but no one believed me that time. U know I had to face so much of embarrassment in front of all…… now u r so dead vadhera… today I m going to beat u like hell….

Virat ran to save his life from her and she chased him.

Ayesha:- di… don't leave him…..

Ayesha started cheering manvi…

Virat:- angel… tumne mujhe dhoka diya…… u used to be always by my side….. How can u take her side

Manvi:- that's because she is my angel sister…. (Pulling Ayesha towards her)

Virat came near them and pulled Ayesha towards him….

Virat:- no she is my angel….

Manvi:- no…she is mine….

Virat:- no….she is mine..Mine…mine….

Ayesha was squeezed between them….she felt hard to even breathe. She shouted loudly…..

Ayesha:- STOP IT….. U both will rip me off in two parts…. I m not just Ur, manvi di….nor Virat's. I m both of Urs angel…. happy now!!!!

Virat and manvi gave angry glare to each other…..

Ayesha:- (thinking) thank god… this house is getting back to normal!!!

Virat:- I challenge u miss. Sharma…… u have to watch that horror movie without screaming for once!!!

Manvi:- k… fine….. Get ready to lose pervert vadhera!!!!

Virat:- let's see witch Sharma!!!

Manvi stormed out of house picking overcoat from couch for her office and Virat stormed towards kitchen picking knife from his apron pocket….

Manvi was laughing…. Giggling and teasing Virat after getting back to home from movie as she won the challenge….

Manvi:- mein jeet gayi…. Main jeet gayi….. Virat is a loser….. Virat is a loser…..

Virat:- no….. U did cheating…..

Manvi:- of course not…. Challenge was about not to scream and throughout whole movie I didn't scream for once….. So I won!!! (Giving high five to Ayesha)

Virat:- that's because u closed ur eyes throughout movie….. U didn't even watch it….

Manvi was still laughing seeing Virat's face….. She moved upstairs waving them goodnight towards her room…..

Manvi:- good night angel…. good night rotlu Virat!!!!

Virat:- ur di has lost her nuts again!!!!!

Ayesha:- but it's better to see her like this than watching her crying!!!

Virat:- hey….. Don't worry. Now she will not cry anymore as she has got a good lesson from this Charles chapter….. She will think 1000 times before getting into any relationship…..

Ayesha:- (sighing) hope so….

Virat:- (smiling) k… good night….

Ayesha:- good night!!!!!

Everything was slowly getting back to normal….. Manvi was again in her bubbly avatar…. Virat still annoyed her and Ayesha trying hard to bring them close and mostly wishing god for some magic so that they realize they were meant for each other…..

Manvi came towards kitchen talking with Stacy on phone….

Manvi:- (on phone…) Stacy did u fix my appointment??

(After a pause) I will tell u everything…. But first tell me did u get the appointment fixed for me?

Manvi:- (again after few seconds) k….. then I'll be late for office till then u take care of work …. bye…

Manvi disconnected the call and looked towards Virat who staring at her…..

Manvi:- kya hua???

Virat:- kuch nahi…. magar tum batao…. Tum kaha ja rahi ho??? Kiske saath tumhara appointment hai??? (Raising brows)

Manvi thought for a second and avoiding his gaze she replied…

Manvi:- nothing… just project related work…

Virat:- k….. (still not convinced by her answer)

Manvi:- and …Virat can u please call the plumber… the shower in my bathroom is leaking…..

Virat:- k….

Manvi:- thanks….

She turned around to walk out…..

Virat:- r u sick???

manvi:- (getting angry) what!!!! (Turning around)

Virat:- no..No...No… I mean r u ill??? U haven't touched Ur food last night and today u got up late….

Manvi:- (trying hard to smile) no…. I don't feel like eating anything…. just tired…

Virat:- should I make something for u now?

Manvi:- no…I'll have something in office.

I m getting late for my appointment…. so bye!!!

Virat: - take care … bye!!!!!!

Virat was cleaning house in afternoon after leaving Ayesha to her school. He entered Ayesha's room to take trash can when he noticed something unusual in it. It was pregnancy test kit and it showed positive. Virat was shocked to core. He wasn't able to believe his eyes.

Virat:- Ayesha…pregnant!!!!!! Oh my god…. When did this happen??? And who is that bas***d….. I m gonna kill him…..

Virat moved downstairs with a kit and dialed Manvi's number….

Virat:- (panicking) manvi….. Just leave Ur every important meeting and come back home NOW!!!!

There is a big time emergency here!!!!!

Manvi:- why ??? What happen? Actually I m bit busy…..

Virat:- (cutting her sentence in mid) it's about Ayesha manvi…. and there's something important which u should know about her…..

Manvi:- k… wait.. Don't panic…. I'll be there in few minutes….

Manvi:- (storming towards Virat) why did u call me so urgently???

Virat:- actually I want to tell u something about Ayesha…. But before that don't panic or get unconscious after listening that….

Manvi:- Virat just tell me…… (getting curious)

Virat:-k….(leaving a big sigh) manvi…. Ayesha is PREGNANT….!!!!!

Manvi:- (covering her mouth with shock) WHAT!!!! but….but….. how can this happen…..

Manvi looked at Virat who was oozing fire from his eyes….

Manvi:- don't look at me like that…. I didn't even know that she had a boyfriend?!!!

Virat:- but manvi its really serious situation…. (Fuming in anger)

Manvi looked anxiously at Virat who was obviously flipping out but trying hard to stay calm…

Virat:- manvi… say something….. Do u know what this means….

Manvi:- yes… I think I do….. (After a pause) So tell me what it means….

Virat:- (slapping his forehead) ur sister is going to be a teenage mother…..

Manvi:- Omg!!!!! How can I get so many shocks in one day…….

Virat what are we gonna do now??

Virat:- first of all we have to confront her….

Manvi:- but if she denies…. I mean she is a teenage girl and no teen age girl tells such things to their parents so easily…..

Virat looked at her with wide eyes…..

Manvi:- I mean to her sister and nanny……

Virat:- we can't sit ideal just doing nothing. We have to ask her directly and that too today itself…..

Manvi:- but u have to be with me….

Virat:- k…..

Virat and manvi waited for her for several hours and at last Ayesha came back home and dropped her bag on floor and was about to move upstairs when Virat stopped her….

Virat:- hey angel…..come with me… (Dragging her towards dining table and made her sit beside manvi and he sat opposite to them….)

Ayesha:- (smiling) do I look like a criminal to both of u that u have brought me here to interrogate…

Manvi put arm around her…. but she didn't had guts to ask anything. Virat's patience was reaching its end when he suddenly spat out….

Virat:- Ayesha… tell the truth!!!

Ayesha:- what truth???

Manvi patted her shoulder lovingly…

Virat:- we know….

Virat looked in her eyes trying to read her mind…..

Ayesha:- (getting slightly scared seeing anger in Virat's eyes) u know what??

Virat:- tell her Sharma….. (Looking at manvi)

Manvi held her hand and spoke bit hesitating….

Manvi:- that u r pregnant!!!!!

Ayesha laughed seeing their faces…..

Ayesha:- wow!!! That was good prank… but seriously guys u have to still work on it…… so if u both r over with ur childish prank I m going upstairs as I m very tired today…..

Ayesha was about to get up from her chair when Virat came near her and made her sit again…..

Virat:- no Ayesha we are not playing any prank with u… its real. So just tell name of that bas***d…. I m going to kill him right now!!!!

Ayesha:- cool down Virat …. I m not pregnant...k….

Virat:- don't lie Ayesha….. (Virat said inquisitively)

Manvi was still mum in whole conversation as if she had lost her voice….

Virat:- (trying to be calm) look angel…. don't worry.. We won't... I mean Ur di won't abandon u. we will be with u whatever u take the decision but please tell (again raging) HOW THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN????

Ayesha:- (raising voice) how can that happen when I never had -- (and she stopped in mid)

Virat took out pregnancy kit which he found in trash can and placed in front of her….

Virat:- I found it in the trash can in ur bathroom and no one uses ur bathroom beside u…. if it's not u than who else it could be??...

Ayesha found her hand getting squeezed by Manvi's tight grip to that extent that it hurt. Ayesha looked at her di who was staring at table with her hand bit shivering… Ayesha was hell shocked with the thing which she just registered……

Ayesha:- (thinking) Omg!!!! That means di is pregnant!!!!!!

Her mouth dropped open……
