Amazing updates & thanks for the PMs 😊
Chapter 19
Arnav confused of whether to open up his love to Khushi & then convincing that he should stick to what he is good at – his legally laid out plan after Akash's call indicates his fear of losing his love
Loved & admired Arnav telling Khushi that they will continue to be friends & that the marriage wouldn't be just a facade
Quoted the best part of chapter 19:
- 'Someone who can love Adit Adya like a mother and can be my companion as in true sense as well' he spoke, liking the direction of her question.
- 'Khushi ... Will YOU marry me?' he came to the point.
- 'Jii? ME?' she gasped.
- 'Yeah. Why else am I discussing all this with you?'
- 'And I am here to clear your doubts. Ask me' he offered.
- 'Sure. But I want you to remember two things. First, I am and will stay your friend. You're not moving out in ANY case. Second, if we marry, the marriage will be real in ALL senses'
Chapter 20
The magic mirror for advice was lovely
I thought Khushi's monologue stole the show today…………..but I was wrong, the line where it says that the man who started the turmoil was sleeping on a cloud of feathers after dropping it off on his lady's lap actually won the trophy
Khushi in a quandary about why she was Arnav's choice for marriage, sleepless nights……...tiresome days, wondering whether she was missing something important between the lines, trying to draw a conclusion based on the fact of how close they have come due to their friendship breaking all the tiff of coldness they maintined as relatives earlier, was constructed impeccably
Khushi liking the idea of feeling wanted by Adya, the thought of sugar-free striking her mind insisting on the urge to take care of Arnav, leaving the worry of social standing to Arnav indicated the warmth slowly spreading in her mind on the thought of becoming a member of the Raizada family
The talk between Arnav & Khushi was framed beautifully
Arnav taken back by Khushi's quick "YES" & he repeatedly asking her to think over her decision clearly was admirable
Loved both Arnav's sarcasm as well as honesty in his replies to Khushi
It was appreciative of Arnav that he atleast told her that the reason for choosing her was coz he liked her though he didn't openly lay out his love infront of her
'Arnavji, you cannot LEARN to love. You just FALL in love. And out of us two, we should worry about YOU. I'll manage just fine on that front but a cynic like YOU will not realize love even if it hits you in the face you know'
I couldn't stop laughing when Khushi said the above because she'll be shocked to life to know that it was his love for her & the fear of losing her that made him plan out such an arrangement
The last statement of Arnav sounds a bit mysterious to me……..I wonder if it has a hidden meaning to it & if it is going to bring a twist in the story???? Akash's return after 10 days & his reaction to Arshi's marriage decision is another ????
Waiting to see how the story progresses & how Arnav expresses his love to Khushi
Quoted the lines that were amazing :
- 'Then why me? I am a normal girl, normal face, nothing extraordinary'.
- 'Should I try and talk him out of his stupid plan of marrying me. After all I am his friend. I should look out for him. Right?'
- 'ARGHHH ... Why can't he sort out custody issue without giving me a heart attack and ruining his own life?'
- 'You catch on real fast girl. HUH'
- And Khushi started thinking, curled up in her bed, about the man who last night knocked on the door of her life and was waiting for her to answer it now.
- …….So Adit Adya's upbringing could not be the issue. Is she missing something?
- Did that count for nothing? Adit Adya look up to them as their parents. Can that be belittled?... The understanding that they've developed, does that count for nothing? They care for each other unconditionally. Does that not mean anything?
- From that-snob-brother-of-Anjali-bhabhi to Arnavji. From scaring her wits by icy cold glares to reassuring her with his honey brown eyes. From avoiding him royally to hugging him close when sick. From throwing money in her face for taking care of HIS niece and nephew to today asking her to be their co-guardian. YEAH, they have come a long way.
- n the other part of the house, the man who started it all was amazingly asleep with peace written all over his face. And why not, he had unloaded a huge burden he was carrying around off his chest on to the pretty mind of his lady love.
- 'Of course not. I love to propose marriage to a woman I absolutely hate, so that we can mutually ruin our lives and drag two innocent toddlers into hell along with us. SERIOUSLY Khushi? You think I don't like you?' he sarcastically replied.
- 'Ummm.. about LOVE in the marriage ... or maybe about our age difference ... I don't know. Girls are pretty stubborn about all this stuff, aren't they?' he supplied.
