It was 9 am in the morning. Khushi stirs as the sun light hits her face passing by the translucent curtains. It has been 4 years since Arnav Khushi have been married. Khushi was just tossing on the bed, when a loud sound disturbs her sleep.
Khushi - ARNAVJii ! Aap theek toh hai na ?( she jumps off the bed and because of the sudden movement her stomach starts hurting and she screams in pain ) "AAHHH"
Arnav - runs towrds her and carries her to the bed. (angrily) tumhe kitni baar yaad dilana padega..apna uchchalna koodna band karo. YOU'RE SEVEN MONTHS PREGNANT DAMMIT! Tum kuch ho jaata toh ? Hamare bache ko kuch ho jaata toh ?
Khushi- ( khushi begins to cry..thaanks to her hormonal imbalance :p) Arnavji hum theek hain..itni zor se daante mat ( and all the gangna jamna flows frm her eyes)
Arnav- as expected Arnav melts and kisses her eyes away and kisses her forehead. Main bus dar gaya tha..tum theek toh ho na ?
Khushi assures him that she is fine and asks Arnav to go for the breakfast meanwhile she freshes up. While dresssing up she realises that its their 4th wedding anniversary today and her laad governor has still not wished her and infact yelled at her early morning..
Khushi ( to herself) - is ki saza unhe zarooor milegi, barabar milegi.
At the dining table.
Khushi was expecting Nani, Mami, Di, Jiji, Jeeja to wished her or Arnav. But to her surprise NO-ONE wished her or Arnav Everyone were acting as if it was just another day. She thought maybe they were planning a surprise for them. So she thought of having patience and waiting for the surprise. The breakfast was just like the normal affair and Khushi was upset thinking they had forgotten their anniversary.
It was a routine of Khushi to carry Arnav's laptop bag and wallet and give it to him at the door. She handed him his belongings and was waiting for Arnav to atleast wish her but he dint. He waved and left in his SUV.
Khushi sat with her best-friend "CHANAS" in her hand and muttering gaalis to her laad governor . She ws really upset with everyone to have forgttn their anniversary but more with her laad governor . She was flipping the channel , when she happened to come across the famous "KAMLESH KHABRI SHOW".
Kamlesh- Kya shaadi ke kuch saal baad, aapko aisa lagta hai ki aapke pati aapka khayal nahi rakhte ?
Khushi - stands up and starts crying and tellin ji haan kamlesh bhaiiya kuch dino se Arnavji humse
Kamlesh - Kya aapko paata hai 89% pati aapni patni ke pregnancy ke dauraan dusri patniyon par dore daalte hain. Unka apni patniyon mein interest khatam ho jaata hai.
Khushi- while sobbing jii kamleshji us din bhi Arnavji kisi ladki se baat kar rahe the.. and kuch dino se Arnavji sirf humpar daant te rehte hai..woh humse bilkul bhi pyaar nahi karte.
And then the cable gets disconnected. Khushi being khushi comes up with many reasons as to why Arnav doesnot love her anymore. Number one reason being that she doesnt look the same as she has put on like 20 kgs of weight. She cries bitterly . It becomes 9pm and Arnav arrives home and is shocked to see Khushi crying. He makes her stand up. Hands her a glass of water. And asks her what happen.
Khushi- Aapko isse matlaab?
Arnav - Khushi , yeh tum kya bol rahi ho
Khushi- hum bilkul sahi bol rahe hain..hamare hone se ya na hone se aapko kuch faraaq nahi padta.
Arnav - Khushi..
Khushi interupts him.. hum kuch dino se aapko dekh rahe hai..aap bilkul bhi humse pyaarse do baatein tak nahi karte..din bhar kaam mein vyast rehte hai...hum jaise hi kamre mein aate hai aap phone mein baat rokh kar dusre kamre mein chale jaate hain. Humein paata hai aap aisa kyun kar rahe hai kyun hum pehle jaise nahi dikhte..hum bohut mote ho gaye hain. Shaadi ke baad aap bilkul badal gaye hain Arnavji. Aapko meri koi bhi chinta nahi. Aap ko yeh tak yaad nahi ki aaj hamaro shaadi ki chauti saal gira hain. ( she was crying the entire time and Arnav was listening to her patiently as he was very much aware of her mood swings. But he was shocked to death when he heard Khushi accusing him tellin he doesnt love her anymore jst cause her physical appearance has changed.)
Arnav kissses her passionately and then speaks ek min khushi tum yeh soch bhi kaise sakti hoon ki mera pyaar tumhare liye kam ho gaya hai. I ONLY LOVE YOU DAMMIT. Tum meri zindagi hoon. And khabardaar aisa kabhi socha that i dont love you just bcz your physical appearance has changed. Infct these days u look more and more pretty but i control myself as its ur 7th month. And about the anniversary tum pagal ho gayi ho kya? Do u even know whats todays date its 29 sept and not 30 sept budhhu..hamari anniversary ko lekaar main itna excited hoon and i was busy with the surprise plan and nothing else.
He carries Khushi to the poolside..covers himself and herself with the blanket staring at the stars. I love you khushi.. you are my world my jaaan..and phir kabhi yeh mat sochna ki mera pyaar tumhare liye kam ho sakta hai. Warna main marr..Khushi cuts him and says khabardaar aapne ke aur shabd bhi bola..humein maaf kar dijiye..hum bhi aapse hi pyaar karte hain.. they snuggled into eachother and slept offf promising eachother to always be by eachothers side HAMESHA ??
