Road Trip

Chapter 11

Angad and Manek sat in the front, while Kripa sat in the back. As they rode to the casino, Kripa noticed how Manek kept looking at her from the rearview mirror; while Angad looked out the window, or as usual, talked on his cell.

"WOW" Kripa breathed, as the trio pulled up in front of the Palms. *Authors Note: I just made up a name so sry if I get some stuff wrong.* It was a huge building, lit with lights all around. She jumped out the car and followed Angad, while Manek took her arm. At first she looked at him, but then decided what's the harm.

They entered the door and the guard turned to Kripa. "Hello Miss. May I please see your ID?" Kripa nodded nervously and gave him the ID. He looked at it skeptically. Just as he was about to say something, Manek slipped him a $20 bill. The guard smiled at them. "Go on in! Have Fun!"

Manek smiled, Kripa frowned and Angad just went inside.

Waitresses dressed in skimpy dresses, walked up to them and took their orders. Manek ordered a beer, while Kripa ordered a Long Island Iced Tea (only because that was the only drink she had heard of); while Angad ordered a beer too.

They went to the collector (the person who takes the money and gives the chips). Manek handed him a $100 dollar bill, and Angad did the same. Kripa decided that she would be outgoing and gave the collector a $500 bill. Angad looked at her surprised.

"Now he will know that im not just a wet blanket!" She thought and smirked. Once they had the chips, Angad took her aside.

"What the hell Kripa? Are you retarded? That's all the money you have! What if you lose it all?" He asked.

"Why do you care? It's my money and I can do all I want with it!" she said and turned around. Manek waved her over. She walked to him.

"Roulette?" he asked. She nodded. That was the only game she knew how to play. "Cool. Pick a number!" he said.

She thought about it. Her favorite number was 5. "Five" she called out. The spinner rotated and the ball ended on 5.

"I WON!!!" she screamed. She hugged Manek and took a nig gulp of her drink. She blinked and coughed. Boy was it strong…it was like sweetened vodka. But ignoring it, she called out another number. Once again she won. She was on a roll! She took two big gulps and ordered another.

After a few more winning rounds, she was intoxicated. She was also winning like hell. But then she decided to go all in. Manek, who was also equally, if not more, drunk than her; urged her on, while Angad talked to a hot girl. Kripa looked at him and burned.

She yelled out loud, "I pick the number 7, after my wonderful boyfriend Prithvi birth date!!!" This caught Angad's attention all right. He narrowed his eyes and kissed the girl in front of him. The girl was happy to oblige.

But Kripa lost….she lost all that she had won, as well as all the money she had with her. "NOO!!!" she cried. Angad noticed this and took her and Manek with him out to the car. Manek was mumbling crap about how it's OK to lose and Kripa was just crying. Angad put them in the backseat and drove to the nearest hotel. He went inside and took a presidential suite. Turns out he had won a lot of money in the casino and plus, he couldn't take different rooms- Manek and Kripa were drunk as hell and would need attending to.

Once they were inside, he gave Kripa hangover pill and sat her in the bathroom until she threw up all the alcholal. Manek however, was harder to un-intoxicate, as his body was used to his excessive drinking. Angad went out of the room to get some aspirin for both of them.

While he was gone, Kripa came out of the bathroom. She was now back in her senses, but she had a killer headache. Manek however, wasn't. He was still intoxicated. He cornedered Kripa and tried to touch her. (You all should know what I mean). Kripa kicked him in the groin and just then Angad came in the room. He looked at Manek and locked him in the bathroom, and he helped a crying Kripa into the room.

"Are you OK?" he said. Kripa nodded. "This is why I don't like coming here. Manek is like this all the time." He took a deep breath. Kripa put her hand over his and he smiled. Jus then Kripa's stomach grumbled. Angad and Kripa looked at each other and started laughing.

"Tacos?" he said. Kripa laughed and nodded.

10 minutes later, Angad and Kripa were sitting on the bed, each of them in their PJ's, surrounded by food. Tacos, as well as other food too.

"So I was thinking that I would finance this trip for you." Angad said suddenly, noticing the sad look in her eyes. Kripa smiled.

"I appreciate you offer but I can't do that." She said.

"No way! You have to listen to me!" he insisted.

"Fine, but I pay you back the minute I get to Mishti's. OK?" she said,

"Whatever." He said smiling.

They sat side by side, eating tacos and talking until the sun came up..

That's it for today! I think this was pretty long. It took me a bit long actually writing it- thus I can't edit it. Sorry for the mistakes and im not in the mood to write so it was bad. I might continue 7 Guyz and 1 Girl, so check out that if you haven't read it yet. Um….wat else? Let's see….please leave comments. I love them! =] I also like suggestions to make my writing better!
