Awesome update. So finally Syam dead good news. Kushi is leaving to Australia? And nobody told this to Arnav. Oh god. Why the heck Arnav is behaving like a fool. Even though everybody tressing about the improper marraige and even brought it about the neighbors also he is not thinking about the proper marraige and expecting to her stay with him. Is he going to stop her? Can not wait until tomorrow.

Okay my heart was in my mouth the whole time i was reading this update...
especially reading the last few para's...

Gosh my heart is beating so fast...
I am sure that khushi just takes NK as her friend and Nk surely respects that...
But then i dont know how you are going to go about with this.. are you planning make her go with NK and marry him.. however right it might be in real life.. but it just doesnt seem right.. coz arnav is for khushi and khushi is for arnav...
It can be that khushi just wants to be away from that place for a while and is going to australia to build her own identity and resettle herself ... May be for the time being she needs to be away from arnav and just need a friend with her... she might come after a while may be few years.. whatever it might be its going to be hell painfull for arnav as well as khushi... but guess both need sometime away from each other or they dont..??

My eyes are paining coz every time i read your updates it makes me cry so much..but the parts are just so beautiful...

and is it Nk who hired the sharp shooter to kill Shyam..??

PS: one thing i am glad that you showed is that the death of the accused or any punishment to them can never bring any kind of relief to the victims.. coz the pain and trauma remains with girl/boy forever.. its impact might lessen with time but then the trauma remains there throughout ur life..

For all practical reasons I always used to think that NK was a better choice for Khushi...

But for all emotional reasons why heart still wanted to see Arnav and Khushi together...

So it is a conflict between the heart and the mind...

Now I so look forward to your update to know which one will be victorious...

I imagine this time Arnav truely regrets and deserves a second chance..but then Khushi is the only one who needs to make that choice...

Where do I even begin!

So, Shyam is dead and probably feeling the heat.

I'm not even sure if him being dead is a good thing or not... I know we all say "OMG SHYAM SHOULD DIE" but I felt like in this story Khushi deserved some justice.Even if it was just to calm her little soul.

Either way, I'm glad that he is out of their lives FOREVER and Khushi is safe from his touch.

Moving on.

It's heartbreaking to see Khushi's condition. I can't stand Khushi not being bubbly and chirpy like she's always been. How can someone who's always been a source of happiness and joy, only emit sadness and pain. I know it's going to be difficult but time heals all wounds. (and so does a kiss from Arnav Jee but she's not open to that, so I guess time will heal this one!😳)

I really hope she hasn't gone with NK, but at this point, who knows.

You always imply something and then do the opposite, so I won't dwell over it.

This part of the convo between A-K really got to me:

"Everytime I close my eyes, I can still feel his touch on my skin. Whenever I try to sleep, the sound of his voice doesn't let me! Whenever I look at myself in the mirror, I still wonder if those policemen were right! So what is over, Mr.Raizada? Nothing!"

so everybody said everything except that she is going zway...even in her worst nightmares khushi trusts arnav but wants him to stay away for real...what will arnav do now ...

great update ...the whole khushi nightmare was written so well i felt her anguish it shows how a careless talk affects and what the victim has to face just hanging of the offender /death isn't justice unless we really care about ..

Intense. ,and very very intresting update , ur each update ends up into a cliffhanger , don't mind but I am Totally against of , Khushi leaving Arnav concept ,why she is leaving with nk , I can't even think like that , arnav is realizing his mistakes , he is feeling guilty , Khushi should give him second chance

Juhi, I have read all 8 chapters in one go.I respect you for choosing this topic and writing a story around it .you have portrayed all the emotions so brilliantly ,superb use of words to describe the state of mind of victim(i will not use Khushi here), you have taken extra efforts to not only describe physical pain but also the emotional turmoil the victim goes through which are apparently called the after effects.

I want to hug you Juhi for this master piece , this is a tribute to every victim who goes through this inhumane and gruesome experience, my heart goes out to all the girls who have suffered for being born as females.

I am not only impressed by you but i want to salute for this marvelous and brave effort.

I understand that Arnav has been horrible...but I did not like the fact that nk or khushi did not even bother to tell him that she is moving to Australia. If k wants a fresh start with nk, then Arnav should just let her go. Enough of wallowing in self pity...it's probably time to move on. I know I sound unreasonable, but I don't like all this secrecy. I know nk is trying to help khushi, but he is being a bad brother for sure. Not every victims has a Prince Charming to sweep her off her feet and carry her away to a far away land. They often have to live in the same city and get back their lives in track.

thank you for clarifying that shyam is really and truly dead... it seems such a tame end for the unspeakable crime he committed!

even when the perpetrator is dead, it is the victims who keep on suffering because society still finds pleasure in blaming the girl and her family... khushi's heart-wrenching meltdown was long overdue... as arnav kept repeating that everything was over, I kept wondering how that could be as khushi's life had been destroyed by both these men... she is the one left to pick up th pieces as best she can... I believe it is right for her to move to australia to recover... I am not worried about her equation with nk changing... he loves her but it is too soon for her to think of anyone romantically, and even when she heals, I believe she would look on him as a trusted friend and nothing more... she needs some peace of mind and distance without being caught in an emotional turmoil on seeing arnav... I hope he'll understand and not pursue her thus aggravating an already delicate situation... that he managed to accede to her earlier wish not to see him and kept to it for almost a week shows that he understands her need for space... he forcing the issue won't help her recover... she will resent him for not giving her the freedom to make decisions about her life... nice to see her family supporting her

kudos to you for portraying the pain and the emotions so aptly without a hint of pity... victims of abuse don't need our pity but need our understanding and support!
