As soon as I spotted her my heart skipped a beat. There was Manvi passed out on a rock looking pale and sick. I ran as fast as I could and swiftly lifted her in my arms. She opened her eyes a bit and gave me a weak smile. "Thank god you are here. I was scared I'll get raped in this dark corner." She laughed at her own joke. Jeez typical Manvi. She can barely talk and yet she is cracking jokes and let me tell you I didn't find it funny at all. Given the situation, her joke didn't seem far off. What if some psycho had spotted her passed out in this corner? Even thinking about it gave me shivers.

"You are stupid. I don't even know why I am friends with you." I basically yelled at her causing her to flinch at my words.

Okay I admit I shouldn't have yelled at her especially when she was already not feeling well but I couldn't help it. What the f was she thinking? Running off to some creepy corner in the beach and getting me worried for over 5 hours!? Heights of irresponsibility.

"Put me down." She said sternly. I didn't have it in me to argue with her. If I'd go on I would end up yelling at her again and I didn't want to make her feel worse so I set her down but I didn't let her go completely. I still had my arms around her waist. Man this girl needs some food in her- she is so light and petite.

She tried to move away from me and stand on her own but I was adamant and I wrapped my arms around her waist whilst I held her hand with my other hand.

"Let go Virat." She struggled to get my hands off her and in the process almost fell down.

Okay I'm not standing here arguing with this stupid, crazy girl. Shaking my head at her stubbornness I lifted her again, ignoring her punches on my chest.

"Virat I can walk. Put me down. Viraaattt. What the f**k is your problem?? Viraaattt put me down. I hate you. You son of a ... You are a jerk, dipshit. I hate you so hard." She kept yelling insults at me but I couldn't care less.

We finally reached her room and I set her on her bed.

I was expecting her to yell at me more instead she just sat there staring at the ceiling. *sigh* I can never tell whats going on in that little head of hers. I sat next to her and held her hands.

"You want to tell me what is going on and why you ran off to psycho's paradise?" I asked her gently.

Manvi always confides in me. There isn't a thing that she won't tell me so naturally I expected her to spill the beans. What happened next shocked me and to be honest it hurt me too. She removed her hands from mine and shifted away from me. "I am tired Virat. Leave me alone."

I don't know what to make of this. Why is she suddenly so distant from me? What happened today that totally changed her? "Manvi.." I tried but she stopped me. "Virat please leave me alone. I want to sleep." Without another word she covered herself with a duvet and laid on the bed.

I stood up and after one last glance at her sleeping form I left the room.
