He's Amazing ~ Part 57

Khushi had gone back to her room to find Lavanya there dressed ready with her bag.

"Oh my god! La! When did you get here?"

"Just a little while ago."

"Why didn't you call me?"

"Because I knew you wouldn't want me to disturb you when you're spending time with jiju."

Khushi blushed and then remembered to tell Lavanya to hide the fact that she and Arnav were married. Lavanya listened as Khushi explained why.

Khushi hugged Lavanya tightly.

"I've missed you so much!"

"I have too."

Khushi looked at the clock and gasped.

"Oh god, I'm going to be late!"

Khushi quickly got ready and then she and Lavanya rushed out to get to the lecture. They pushed the door open to see the majority of people were already there but there were still a few gaps. Lavanya smiled to Arnav as she walked in and he winked to Khushi. Khushi noticed there was a pretty young woman sitting on the side of Arnav's desk and couldn't help but feel a surge of possessiveness. Once everyone was in and settled Arnav began talking.

"Welcome back everyone its good to see you all again. Please leave your assignments on the side of your desks I'll collect them. I haven't had the opportunity to mark the last ones because I was busy. Oh by the way, this is Miss Sonia Khanna. She will be in our lectures because she will be replacing me when I leave with you at the end of this semester. So they thought it would be a good idea if she stuck around so she could get a feel of how it is to teach people as advanced as you guys."

Tina raised her hand.

"Sir, is it true you got married?"

Arnav's eyes fell on Khushi who looked away smiling knowingly.

"Where did you hear that from? Er, not yet. I got engaged though. That's the reason why I couldn't get marking done."

"Congratulations sir!"

"Thank you."

There was an outburst and everyone congratulated Arnav and he smiled acknowledging everyone. Some of the girls sat and grumbled over the fact that Arnav was no longer single. Khushi couldn't help but smile. They proceeded with the lecture and Khushi couldn't help but sit and admire her ring. A few girls had questioned it, however Khushi had just said she'd brought it herself. All throughout the lecture Khushi couldn't help but look up and notice that Miss Khanna had kept getting closer to Arnav. By the end of the lesson everyone was leaving and Khushi took her time gathering stuff. When everyone had left she turned to speak to Arnav but Miss Khanna was still there.

"Mr Raizada can I talk to you please?"

"Miss Khanna can you leave us for a moment."

"Arnav, I don't think you know but male teachers and female students shouldn't be left alone in a room. So if Miss Gupta has something to say, she can say it with me around."

Khushi threw Miss Khanna a dirty look.

"Sir, did you want me to do the extension as well?"

"Er, no don't bother."

"Ok sir."

Khushi then left the room. The rushed up to her dorm to find Sia and Lavanya talking.

"You're back quickly."

"Yeah because stupid Miss Khanna doesn't think I should be able to talk to my husband alone."

"But Khushi, she doesn't know you and jiju are married."

"That still doesn't give her the authority to tell me that I can't speak to him alone."

"Khushi why are you fretting. Just go round to his place in a bit. But one thing, why did he say he's only engaged and not married."

"Because he wanted to make sure the girls knew he's out of bounds now, but didn't want them catching on that we're married."

"Makes sense."

The girls sat around for a while and then Khushi's phone rang. She looked at it and saw that it was Arnav. She answered it.

"Hey babe. What are you doing?"

"Just sitting around with La and Sia."

"Aren't you going to come over?"

"Are you alone?"

"Of course I am!"

"Ok, I'll come in a bit."

"Please come half dressed like last night."

"Maybe Mr Raizada. Just wait and watch."

"Oh, I like. Bye baby."

Khushi disconnected the call and got up to get ready. She filled the girls in who told her that she should get going. Khushi stayed in the dress she was wearing, put her cardigan on and then left.

She reached Arnav's house and knocked on the door. He opened it and let her in.

"I'm really sorry about Sonia. But I couldn't say anything because I didn't want her to catch on."

"Its ok, I understand."

"Hey, how come you didn't come half dressed?"

"Oh gosh Arnav!"

They walked into the living room and Khushi noticed Arnav had dinner ready.

"Why is it when I come you've already got food ready. I wanted to cook for you today."

"Khushi you don't have to worry about that. When we get home you're going to have to cook for me all the time."

"But it isn't nice that you have to cook now despite me being here."

"Khushi, I like cooking and I'm good at it. So you stop worrying and enjoy the food."

They began to eat and made small talk. As they tided up afterwards the question of Sonia Khanna finally came up.

"Is she always going to be around during our lectures?"

"Apparently. She was saying that she would be around."

"I don't like her Arnav. I can tell, she's digging on you."

"Don't worry about it. I told everyone I'm engaged, that would keep them off my back."

"But still. You're damn sexy, I know girls, and they'll still try to get to you."

Arnav held Khushi's waist and turned her around. He placed a light kiss on her lips.

"Babe, they can do what they want, but my eyes will only search for you. My heart belongs to you and my body aches for you. You're all I want Khushi."
