chp 8 : the notebooks
We all need someone to talk about our day, a friend , a family member or a notebooks, some people have the habit of sharing their happiness, sadness, small adventures and pain that they had during the day in a Notebooks
Sobha goes to her bedroom take a bag were she was hidding a few notebooks in different calors she take the black one that was last one writing , in the last page she read the last note.
"I could take back those moments that snatched you away from me or maybe just wipe away those ten minutes when you came to me for the first time and I looked into your eyes to realise what love is."
Mr Dubey was behind her said " Sobha why are still keeping Aarti's notebooks , we agree to burn them after Aarti's operation "
Sobha " I was afaid that day like today after come , i was keeping if Aarti had questions , also i keeping to remember why we do what we do , i just want to make Aarti last note true "
Mr Dubey said " We try, but Fate is not always in our Side"
Sobha " Do you think that she will fall in love with him again ?"
Mr Dubey " I don't know , lets hope that he will not break her heart again "
Sobha " Do you think she will forgive us for lying to her ?"
Mr Dubey " Aarti cannot get angry from the people she love , even if she want to, she will understand , we are her parent and we were trying to protect her "
Sobha " if he didn't reject her twice , one when he didn't saw her love and the second when he didn't remember her we wouldn't have to do all that "
Mr Dubey "Ok Sobha let go to take some rest , and dont worry about Aarti , she always find a way the survive from eny trouble or trauma she face "
Sobha smile a sad smile " Our Aarti is realy a fighter, after all she had faced during her life , since childhood, she find a way to survive "
They both head to the bedroom that Vidhi prepare it for them, to try to rest from this long day
Flashback ( From the notebooks )
Aarti goes to the library, because she know that the only place that would be emty on lunch time ,
she seat on one of table and to herself " Did i just said what i just said " then she add with an evil smile " i think all time of watching westerly movies and series , help me find a good feedbacks "
" was i so rude ?" she said with a little guilt then her stomach
start to sing then to guilt was replace by pique and say
"no no she Deserve it she trew my lunch's box on the floor, mom realy prepared all this for me with love and im still hungry , damn it girl did you have to mess with me when i just started my lunch , all the food is Spoil, i will go home i can't study when im hungry "
it was just an exuse after all the clap and the attention that she has after that, she couldn't go back to the classroom she doesn't enjoy people attention to her, she is happy with her own world
She take her bag and the empty lunch box and go to home , she was lucky to find to buss soon , when she enter home , she head to the Kitchen when her mom Sobha was busy , then she said huging her from behind
" Hi mom, so when we are not home you spend your time on the Kitchen"
Sobha was touk by surprise" o god you scare me Aarti , you don't come at this time from school, are you ok dear "
then she she turn touching Aarti forehead " Dont tell you have fever again "
Aarti " No mom im not sick , i just decide to be brat today and
skip some classes , by the way im hungry there is enyting here to eat ?"
then she head to the Fridge searching for food
Sobha "I give you a huge lunch's box and you still want to eat"
Aarti " Lets just said that there is nothing left on that box "
Sobha "you are so skinny, i wish to know when all the food that you eat went , you are always hungry"
Aarti " by the way mom you are not going to scolt me, i just told you that i skip school "
Sobha " i know how crazy you are , you just decide to do some stuff out of the blue like to day you decide to participe in that compitition that help you to win that schoolship, we all were shock when you were like " i will go to a knew school i won a compitition at school, and gess what im going the a high school of rich people "
and your hair's cut for exemple you were like
" i cut my hair alone last night because its to long and i dont have time to brush it"
Aarti said mom " mom going the that school is good think for my future , the name of that school my file will help to go to eny art college i want , here or UK or USA,
As for my hair its just that i want a short hair so i will not have to brushed every morning for a long time , or bother me while drawing or designing school projects , also it will grew again, i know that you want me to have a long hair so when you decide to get me married you wil be " Look i have a daugther who can cook and have a long hair too " im only 14 year old let me some crazy think"
Sobha laugh " its ok dear, you are a Adolescence you need to do something like that once , skiping school cuting your hair, also you are always the first at you class , so im not worry about you if you skip a few class, "Art" are just your passion "
Aarti "Wow mom you are realy a cool mom, since dad is still at work and sis is on college , and we are alone lets make some Snacks and watch a movie together, just the 2 of us "
Sobha laugh " Ok ,by the way did you make eny friends at school
you are there for a month "
Aarti " Lets just said not yet" Aarti think" i made a few enemies"
she was glad that her mother didn't ask her more, she doesn't want to make her worry
Aarti and Sobha have a good laugh that afternoon also a good
"Mother -daugther" time .
Next day Aarti goes to School waiting for more ignorance from the student, but she was shocked when the student start to say to here while she was walking to classroom
"Hi outsider , you rocked yesterday", " you are awesome outsider"
or they give her a tumps up,
Aarti keep thinking heading to the class room " O my god whats wrong with everybody , they even give a nick name " Outsider " what the hell is happening , why suddenly everybody know me, is insulting someone on public give you popularity in this School ? ok this school is weird"
When she enter the classroom , she saw the teach wasn't there yet , the student were talking but when she enter they suddenly stop taliking and look at her , then a group of girls come to her and satrts saying
" Hi outsider, seat next to me "
" No next to me "
"Im Mansi " ,"Im meera " ," im Sima" ...
They Surround her and talking all at once then she scream
" Be silent " then they stop talking
" Hi girls nice too me you, but i can't understand what you are saying when you are talking all at once , its to much information to take "
Then they start looking at eachother and laugh one of them
" said o god you are so cool outsider , im Mansi please seat next to me "
Aarti "Why all the sudden im here for a month and i always seat alnone "
Mansi" i know we were not friendly with you sorry for that, and after what have you done to Bebo we are now Big fans of you "
Aarti before Aarti could said anything to teach come the students take their seats , and Aarti just seat next to Mansi since she insist
After that class , they to the workship , and Aarti was surprise again to say people asking to be part of their groops when the teach talk about the necceraty of working on groop to presente to finale project, she just end up again with Mansi and her group, at lunch time they insist that they she seat on their taible , she just seat
And one of them said " Wow Aarti what you did here is historical"
Aarti " Realy ? you dont seem a big fan of Nida "
Mansi "We are not no one girl in this school , yes she is like a diva her, but she is always mean to the girls "
Sima add " She make fun from the fat's girls on the dress room that a lot of them stop changing there"
Meera " She once trew a glass of jus on my clothes , just because i was wearing the same T-shirt as her , so she would make me change"
Mansi " the only reason that i was not one of her vectimes in because my big sister is one her selvage, i mean friends"
Meera "she never stop saying insulting stuff to us even if dont talk
to her , she make fun of all the girls , she does that usuly when the
no one of the teacher are around and the girl are alone, and on
her when she go to a party she love to Insult someone on a way
or another "
Sima " Last year a girl try to Suicide because she and her friends
keep torturing her all year by her bully, but since she never does that on public , no one could prouve that, the girl finally change to school"
Mansi " infact you are here today because of that, the school try to save her reputation after that inccident of one of student try to commit Suicide by giving a Scholarship to one smart student on
Art since that girl's was Art's student , it a way to save Dignity of
the school "
Aarti " why didn't they just expil her "
Mansi " her father give a huge donation to the school , also he
do a Settlement with that girl family , but dont worry she cannot touch your position at school since i hear my sister said that her father worn her that he will not fixe eny mess of hers again"
Aarti " im not afaid or scary of her , if something is mean to be it will happen"
Sima " you realy have a positive attitude "
Aarti start to take her lunch again
Meera " Cute lunch box by the way "
Aarti " thanks but this lunch box is realy an ordinary india food
box "
But when she saw that they were having lunch on 5 start restaurant
style she understand why they find her lunch's box cute,
most of taible their look like a West's 5 start taibles and food,so many
forks, knives, the taibles are well disignes, the food is made by a chef
Then one of them ask her " Can i tast some for you food ? "
with their forks they all try to tasted and act like Tourists who try
some food for the first time
" Its so good what is that ? ", " Your mom realy can cook " ," I never
try that before "
Aarti smile " Im glad you like it " start to talk about everything they try
Then when one of those little box Aarti stop her saying " Sorry i dont share
Barfi its my favorite , the only reason that i will ever shared, if it a pregnant
woman ask to test it or a person who is about the die, no one of you is
preganant , you look healthy to me so no Barfi for you'"
They satrt to laugh and one of them said " O god you act like joye from
friends he doesn't share food, and you dont share Barfi "
Mansi " I cannot bileave that we were not friends before "
They start talking and having fun, even Aarti try some of their plat too
, Aarti was realy the friendly type that realy love to chat and lagh with people
Sima then said " O god the 4 Greek goddess are her "
Aarti said while eating calmly without turning " Who ? "
All the girls look at her on Shock " We talk about the most hansome
groop of boys on school , Yash shindia and his friends"
Aarti keep having lunch and ask agian " Who ?"
Mansi " You dont know yash sindhia , he is like movie star her ,
and his group too, he is the most handsome , the come from Richest
his father is on of the richest man on Asia, has a good classement over the world
list of richest people too, wery big Companies, also his Aunt is married
to one of the powerful Politicians on india , he is the only child on his
family "
Sima " He has a good sense of fashion too , great on study "
Mira " and his attitude just wow , he is body perfect "
Aarti start to laugh and said " Wow girls all you need is to make a fan club
for this boy, you know so much about him" and keep laughing
Mira " Dont make fun of us , he is so cool , and also his friends,
2 of every 3 girl on the school dream to date him , the rest admit
that he is saxy, hot and handsome "
Sima "Infact all the girls try to have a taible next to his at lunch"
Aarti laugh again and said " why the girls of this school never saw a human
having lunch ?"
