Chapter 24

Swayam: We were in a relationship Sharon...But that doesn't mean that we will marry.

Sharon: Swayam... don't say like this.

Swayam: Oh c'mon Sharon...Nothing is permanent in our lives...nor we are in each other's life.

I am leaving Sharon...I will always cherish the time spend with you but we can't marry each other...

Soon, he disappeared and she was standing all alone in a dark scary night...

She jerked up from her sleep sweating badly...The images from her past...her painful past when he was not there with her haunted her sleep...

Swayam felt her sudden movement and opened his eyes to found her all scared and crying.

He shifted Tanya aside and covered her properly with a comforter and got up...

Swayam: What happened Sharon?? Are you alright?

He placed his hand on her head trying to soothe her...But her pain had taken over her...

She started crying and just pushed his hands away and ran out in the balcony.

Swayam got worried on her sudden actions...he called out for her...but he didn't shout as Tanya would wake up.

He kept the pillows on either side of the bed to prevent her from falling and went behind Sharon..

He entered the balcony and saw her resting her hands on the railing for support and crying badly...

Swayam couldn't understand what was happening...he slowly encircled his arms around her and hugged her...

She pushed him away...but he hugged her again... She pushed him again...

He went and hugged her tight as promising her he won't leave her...

The more he went closer to her he understood how much she was affected in his absence...He knew it from beginning; It won't be a cake walk to win her love again...

But he was determined to win her love... After his never ending efforts to get her pain out...The chains which held her heart had began to crack...

The pain was coming out to her and he was present to absorb all the pain and anger coming out of her...

She was Sharon...the DIVA...He wanted his Sharon back.. His Sharon who would shout on him, hit him...be angry on him for leaving her midway...

Not this Sharon, who had stored all the pain in her heart and behaved so cold with him...She behaved as if she had no right on him..Who believed she had no right to question him...

Though she has let him stay with them, but he knew she is just doing it for Tanya...She stays miles away from him and doesn't let him come near her at all...

He loved his princess...but he loves his Sharon the most. Only he knew how he had pasted a smile on his face...This pain was getting unbearable for him...He was far away from her in past years...but now she was in front of him and the distance between their hearts had just increased...

Whenever he saw her crying he felt his heart was being stabbed... one one drop of her tears shed from her eyes..fell on his heart as acid...creating holes in his heart...

He wished she could talk to him and let her pain out..cry on his shoulder letting all the fear flow out through her eyes in form of tears, to never return back in her life...

Sharon on the other hand was fighting a whole different war... She was happy and elated to learn how much Tanya means for him... but on the other side, the question "What she means for him?" was still unanswered...

The past affected her, scared her... she was scared to lose him again..she was scared to receive his rejection again.

She felt him hugging her, she pushed him but he held her again and again...

She shut her eyes tight, letting the tears flow...she loosened herself and rested her back on his chest...fitting perfectly in his arms..

He just held her and allowed her to calm down...He sat down resting his back on the wall with her in his arms.

They stayed in the same position for some time...after he felt her breath steady...he shifted her hair on her shoulder and placed a kiss on her neck...

She opened her eyes and turned to look at him...

He cupped her face..and asked her...

Swayam: What happen Siren...Saw a bad dream?

Sharon: Swayam... you...you..

Swayam: I what Siren...

Sharon: You...won't le...leave me again...

Swayam immediately pulled her in a hug and she wrapped her arms around him...

Swayam: Never...never ever...I promise I will never hurt you again...Not even in my dreams I can do that Sharon...

Sharon hold on him tightened with his each word...

Swayam: If I ever have to stay away from you I will die...

She placed her hand on his mouth and shakes her head in negative not allowing him to say it...He held her hand, which covered his mouth and kissed on her palm.

Swayam: Trust me Sharon, I will never leave you...Never.

Sharon: I...I...trust you.

A wide smile crept on his lips as she said it...he cupped her face and leaned in...She closed her eyes waiting for their lips to meet...but instead she felt him kissing on her forehead.

She opened her eyes, confusion clearly visible on her face...she stared at him with a blank face...and swayam just smiled at her cuteness..

Swayam: It's late, you should sleep now and Tanya is also alone in the room...she may get scared if she finds us missing.

Before Sharon could react to it, she was hanging in the air..as he carried her to the room in his arms..

He placed her on the bed and covered her with the blanket. He sat next to her caressing her hair...when Tanya turned and hugged Sharon placing her tiny hand around her waist...

They both smiled at her actions, Swayam bends and kissed Tanya on her cheeks and then went back to his old position.

Swayam: Sleep Sharon, I am here.

Sharon smiled at him and slowly closed her eyes letting sleep take over her...She had a peaceful sleep as she was sure now that he is here with her Forever.

The bright sun rays entering the room fell on her, enhancing her beauty...She stirred in her sleep...

She moves her hand on the bed to check on Tanya...when she didn't find her near her she jerked opened her eyes... and sat straight on the bed...

Sharon: Tanya...Tanya...

She called out for her but when she didn't get any response she got down and searched for her...

She was moving out of the room in search of her when she stopped near the window as her gaze fell on the persons out in the garden...

A smile crept on her lips...

Outside, were Tanya and her YUM playing in the garden... Swayam had become a horse kneeling on the ground and Tanya was sitting on his back enjoying her ride.

After sometime, a tired Swayam lay flat on the ground with a sudden jerk... Tanya laughed at it and then she too lay flat on him.

They both lay on the grass, resting after the tiring ride...Tanya had hold on tight on Swayam and refused to move and asked him to get up along with her... Swayam too was enjoying this... he purposely acted as if she is heavy and fell on the grass which made her laugh more.

Suddenly, the sprinklers of the lawn started and both Tanya and her YUM got wet... They both sat straight on the ground and stared at each other and then both started laughing.

Swayam lay flat on the ground again and soon Tanya too jumped on his stomach and both were enjoying the feel of cool water on them.

Sharon felt as if she has 2 babies to deal with...One Tanya and Second her Swayam.

Her Swayam... she got alert on her thoughts... After what all happened last night...

One thing she was sure of...He never accepted Tanya as his mistake...he took care of Tanya because he loves her and he is proud to have her.

Just a few lines said by him reduced the tons of pain stored in her heart... The pain she felt when the world questioned her about Tanya's father...

When people eyed her and Tanya with hatred in their eyes..

The pain when she used to feel when she looked at the other kids in Tanya's school with their mom and dad both and Sharon used to take her alone.

Tears made way through her eyes as she thought about the day when Swayam will go to school with Tanya and the world would see...Her princess has the best father in the whole world...

Her princess won't be away from her father's love...She will get all the love and affection which she deserves...

She brought her hands near her lips and blew a kiss towards Swayam...

Sharon: Love you Swayam, love you a lot baby.
