Hello friends!!! I am back from exams!!!

Chapter 2 -

Khushi and Arnav decided to stay back at college for completing their project. They have been in the empty Library for the past half an hour. Arnav had complete concentration on his books as it is his first love. Khushi had been struggling with the chapter for the past fifteen minutes. She looked at her partner who is reading as if he understood each and every word.

Khushi - You think you are very smart, right?

Arnav looked up confused.

Arnav - What...do you mean?

Khushi - I can't understand what crap is written in this book and you are reading as if you can understand everything!

Arnav - (innocently) But I understood everything.

She glared at him.

Khushi - Care to explain?

Arnav - Oh...yeah sure.

He explained everything to her.

Khushi - (in her mind) The idiot explains well.

Arnav - That's it. It's easy.

Khushi - Hmph, for nerds like you.

He didn't say anything. He did his own work. But he was very scared about his grades. He wanted to make sure that she prepared well. Otherwise his grades will also go down. He did'nt dare to ask her directly.

Arnav - Ar...are you ok?

Khushi - Do I look sick?

Arnav - No no...did you prepare well?

Khushi - (angrily) Do you think I am an idiot? I can't do anything? How dare you? What will happen if I am not a nerd like you? You take care of your own buissness.

Arnav - I am sorry!

Khushi - Hmph! I am going!

With that she stormed out of the Library.

Arnav - (miserably) How will I even pretend to love her?

Outside the college -

Jay (Arnav 's class teacher) too stayed back in the college since he had some work. When he got out, he spotted Arnav getting into his car.

Jay - Hey Arnav!

Arnav - (getting out of the car) Good evening Sir!

Jay - (coming to Arnav) Good evening! Do you mind dropping me at my home. My car is in the workshop.

Arnav - Sure Sir.

Jay - Thanks!

They both got into the car.

Jay had a soft place for Arnav even though he had close connections with Aman. It was not just because that Arnav is the topper in his class, but also because of his sister, Anjali, Jay 's dream girl. He knew both the siblings love each other a lot and Anjali is more a mother to Arnav than sister. He loved their bond. But both the siblings are unaware of the fact that Jay loves Anjali. Jay thought it will be best to inform this when Arnav finishes his studies and settle down in his life. He also knew that Anjali won't leave the house unless her "Chote" 's life is settled.

Arnav - Sir you home.

Jay - Oh, Thanks buddy.

Arnav - Anytime Sir.

After dropping Jay, Arnav returned home.

Shantivan -

Arnav finished his dinner and studies and was now on his bed, his head on Anjali 's lap. Nani was also beside them caressing his hair.

Anjali - Chote, you have become so big, yet you can't sleep without our presence.

Arnav giggled.

Nani - Why are you giggling Chote?

Arnav - You both tell that I have become big, but still calls me 'Chote'?

Anjali - (smiling) Because you are still our 'Chote'.

Arnav - Then don't complain about my sleeping habits.

Nani - Then what after your marriage Chote?

Arnav stilled. he suddenly remembered about Khushi. God, the bet!

Nani - What happened? Why are you silent?

Arnav - Nani, it's better we don't talk about it.

He closed his eyes and slept. After he slept Anjali and Nani covered him with quilt, offed the lights and quietly went out of the room.

Next day in college -

"The Gang" spotted Arnav going towards the class. They rushed to him.

Aman - Hey dude, you going to class alone?

Akash - Why didn't you take Khushi?

NK - She must be missing you, right?

Arnav - You guys never get enough, right?

They laughed. Akash spotted Payal.

Akash - Arnav, I will teach how to go to class with your girlfriend.

The three of them watched Akash. He went to Payal.

Akash - Hey sweetheart!

Payal - Akash!

He dropped a kiss on her cheeks.

Arnav gaped.

Aman&NK - Oooh!

Akash held Payal 's waist and led her to class. He turned and winked at Arnav.

NK - Wow! That's a man. I will also go find Lavanya. Bye friends!!!!!!!

He left.

Aman - So Arnav, are you going to look for Khushi?

Arnav - No!

Aman - You should, otherwise...you know what will happen.

Saying so, he too left. Arnav cursed his fate.

Later -

Arnav didn't dare to look for Khushi. He quietly went to his place. A little later Khushi came and sat beside him. Neither of them looked at each other. After the class ended Khushi got up and went. Arnav too got up to go when the "Trio" came.

NK - Are you two strangers or what? Not even glancing at each other.

Arnav - She doesn't like it.

Akash - Ooh! Friends, I think Arnav has already started caring for her.

Aman - Dude, We said just to act as you love her, not really love her.

NK - That's not because we have a problem if you have an affair, that's because if by any chance you both come together, you will make the most funniest pair.

They started laughing. Just then Khushi came there. She saw the notorious gang laughing at Arnav.

Khushi - Is some circus going on her?

Aman,Akash&NK - OMG!

Arnav - Khushi!

Khushi - What? Why are you people laughing like morons.

Aman - We were just having some fun.

Khushi - You have no other job other than goofing around, right? And you, you too joined them?

Arnav - No.

Khushi - Better not, because if you come to me with any of their tricks, then you won't see the next sunrise.

She took her book and left. And others went giggling leaving a miserable Arnav.
