Recap- NK enters college and there is an unexplainable closeness seen between NK and Khushi. Arnav in a confused and Jealous mode. Arnav plans to get back at NK soon. Lavanya's party coming up!

Chapter 7 - Coated with Possessiveness.

15th December 2011

Its 10 minutes to 7:30 Now.

Arnav will be here in 10 minutes and all I have done is make My hair presentable.

I wonder what color does NK like...

He seems to like Black a lot so I guess a Black dress is something I will wear tonight.

Oh...I hope I am not making it too obvious that I like NK or something.

Or else Arnav is going to kill Him.

It was a major task to get Him to invite NK in the first place.

Flashback to break time in the canteen today.

There was a buzz in the canteen about the New entry in school today and also about the fact that NK was "friends" with Me already.

Arnav's mood had considerably turned off due to all the attention NK was hogging away from Him.

Aakash sat down next to Me on our usual lunch table and chuckled loudly.

"So..Baby Sister...Heard that a new crush is on your way..." Aakash teased.

Thank God..Arnav is still at the Food counter collecting our food or else...I don't want to think after the 'or else' part.

"Shut Up..Aakash ...He is just a friend." I said throwing a straw on him.

"Ooo...A friend who is a fan of Your blush..Hmm..Interesting." Lavanya teased while sitting down opposite Me along with a giggling Payal.

"Payal..Don't Giggle too much...or rather don't do it at all...Do You want Me to open my mouth?" I winked at her while indicating wide eyes towards Aakash.

"Khushi...I am going to peel each and every Guy here who is staring at You." Arnav growled while plopping down our lunch tray in front of Me interrupting my teasing of Payal.

"They all think that the board of 'BEST FRIENDS WITH ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA' has finally been removed off from Khushi after what NK did in Mrs. Manorama's class today." Lavanya teased winking at Me.

Arnav looked at Me in appraisal while sighing loudly and settling down next to Me.

"Hey NK..." Payal said a little too loudly to divert our attention towards NK who was standing behind Me and Arnav.

I turned around to a very beautifully smiling NK who winked at Me.

The whole canteen was watching this rendezvous like It was something which was rare.

"Hey Khushi...Mind if I sit with You Guys?" NK said looking pointedly at Me.

I turned to look at Arnav who was staring at his Fries as If He is going to crush them.

I kept a comforting hand on Arnav's shoulder while nodding my head in confirmation to NK.

Aakash made some space for NK between Us while NK plopped his lunch tray next to Me.

"NK...This is Aakash..My older brother...This is Payal and this is Lavanya...We three are Best Friends." I quickly introduced them to end this awkward moment where I am sandwiched between NK and Arnav.

"Hey Everyone." NK said flashing his bright smile at all three of them.

"So..NK. How is our school so far?" Lavanya questioned between her coffee sips.

"Oh Its been great...Everybody has been nice to Me...And I have Khushi by my side..So no worries at all." NK said looking at Me.

"Hmm..I heard You & Khushi went to the Mall the other day...Khushi had a great time." Payal said in a polite voice.

"Yeah..Anything for My Princess." NK said flicking the tip of my nose.

I did not dare to look at Arnav because of the heat emanating from his side and the daggers He was shooting at NK.

"Anyways ...I just have an announcement to make about My Party tonight...Act surprised everyone" Lavana winked while standing up on the chair She was sitting on.

"There goes Ms.Barbie Doll...Inviting Everyone to Her 'Plastic Tea Party'..." Arnav teased while Lavanya balanced herself on her heels trying not to stumble.

Lavanya stuck her tongue out at Arnav and turned towards the canteen to call everyone's attention.

"Hellooo..People!!! Throwing a Bash Tonight at My House...Be there !! Everyone's invited.See You Guys around. " Lavanya's voice boomed across the stunned canteen.

"NK...You should come to Lavanya's party...She throws some of the Best Parties around here...Loads of everything." Aakash said while winking at NK.

"Yeah...You can come with Khushi and Arnav." Lavanya squealed while looking at NK.

"Oh..Khushi, You are going too?" NK questioned looking at Me.

"Yeah...I always go with Arnav." I said giving puppy eyes to Arnav who smiled back faintly.

"Oh Cool.Then I am In." NK declared whooping loudly.

"Yeah...You can share a ride with Us. You don't know Lavanya's house anyway." Aakash said faking an innocent look at Me.

"Oh that's Double Cool." NK said looking at Me.

"I am going Home..Khushi.Coming?" Arnav said in a tone which sounded like 'You-better-say-Yes'.

"I am coming with you." I said quietly getting up from my seat following Arnav out of the canteen.

"Arnie...I hope You are not upset.Are You?" I asked Him after He had backed out His car out of the parking lot.

"What do You mean by I am upset?" Arnav questioned in confusion.

"Oh..Nothing. I thought You are upset with NK. He is a very good Guy." I explained in a quiet voice.

Arnav sighed loudly before replying,"Happiness..I know. But He acts so sweet around You and also calls You Princess. "

Arnav's face was a picture of Best friendship mixed with angst and something very unusual- Jealousy.

"Arnie...Can We make an effort to be friends with Him..??" I pleaded giving him my best melted look which He definitely falls for everytime, "Please?"

"Okay. I promise I will be nicer to Him but I will punch Him if He ever hurts You." Arnav declared while parking in front of My house.

"Oh God! Anyway...I will be waiting for You in the evening...Love You Arnie..." I said while getting down from the car.

Oops!...It's 7:30 p.m and I am still sitting in my room which resembles a shopping mall scattered with clothes.

Arnav will be here any moment.

Things to do before I leave for the party:

1] Give a quick lecture to Aakash to stop his unnecessary teasing.

2] Calm down Arnav's Best Friend mode.

3] STOP going weak-kneed every time at how NK displays his perfect teeth in that breath taking smile...Oops...There I go again.

Okay. Now I seriously got to go and get ready.

"Dude...Just Go upstairs and get Your Best friend...or else We are going to get there in the morning for cleaning up the trash of the party."
Aakash growled plopping down on the couch.

I sped up the stairs and to Khushi's room to see an unusual sight.

Khushi twirling herself in front of the Mirror[!!]

"What is Happening here?" I said while taking in what She was actually wearing.

"Arnie...How do I look?" Khushi said twirling in front of Me.

How did She look?

My breath had stopped at how marvelous, beautiful, spectacular and all those words which the English Dictionary describes as mind blowing ..because that is what Khushi looked...Absolutely mind Blowing.

"Arnie!!" Khushi squealed crashing Me out of fantasy land, "What is Your verdict?"

"Khushi...Go change. RIGHT NOW!" I growled.

"Arnav...Have You lost it? I took so much time to pick this dress and You want Me to change it?" Khushi whined while looking ay Me with her puppy look which melts Me.

"Happiness...Your puppy look is just not working...So Go change..Its freaking cold outside and the length of this dress is so not going to work in your favor." I tried to reason with my stubborn 'Happiness' even though I was lying.

"Urrghh...You are very mean. But You tell Me what should I wear then...We don't have the time." Khushi said in a challenging manner.

I opened her closet which resembled as if half the mall stayed there.

I pulled out a simple full-sleeved Red top and a pair of full length Jeans to pair it up with and handed them over to Khushi.

"Urrgghhh...Arnie...1) We are not going to the Hospital...We are going to a Party...and 2) I want to wear Black today." Khushi said in an adamant voice.

"Happiness...1) We are going to a party and not to some fashion show...and 2) You NEVER wear black." I explained.

"I can't believe this..You Guys are arguing over Khushi's wardrobe choice??" Aakash's bored voice came from the doorway.

"Okay...Fine.I give Up. But If anyone in the party hits on You...I will make sure to hit him back and I promise it won't be a beautiful sight." I growled looking pointedly at Khushi and walking out of the door.

Khushi is sure behaving weird.

Hope all the 'dressing-up' is not for NK.

Let just this Party go as I have planned.

Looks like the devil- Mr. 'Nice Guy' just arrived.

I got to go now and show Him who rules Khushi completely.

This war has just shifted gears.

It's more of a one sided challenge now which I am planning to win with the most beautiful prize in the end.

par ek baat toh pakki hai khushi hai sachi mai lost it ...

n apki fight ka "f" bhi serious nahi hone wala hai...

i dont know why to i feel koi maha twist ane wala hai .. n this is not asli NK .. i mean he is just acting ..

anyways.. ab me to waiting n watching .. pkka kuch jalebi jese going in ur jalebi jesa seedha mind di ..:P

wow...this is becoming interesting...but m not liking Khushi going so weak for NK...want her to realize that she may loose Arnav, maybe some jealousy from her side for Arnav with some new girl...
