This was real world and a single working mother scarred from her previous marriage and you narrated it so beautifully. I love how he broke her reserve little by little, starting with the book, her son, and so on. He was patient but forthcoming so she knew exactly where she stood. I love this strong Anjali as it was pitiful watching what she was reduced to on the show. She showed she is truly ASR's sister by moving on , getting a job and giving love a chance just like he did. Interreligion romance is never easy, I know from personal experience. Your close ones will have reservations like her family did but they both proved to her family how much they love each other and in the end, that is all that matter to the family. Beautifully closing the Anjali loop - she deserved happiness too!

I liked this one. I really liked this one.

Anjali deserves an Ahad in her life and she deserves to have the chance to stand up for a man in her life - one who is not wrong and not taking advantage of her. She gets to be reserved, she gets to have walls and she gets to have a man break them down and reach out to her.

Unlike much popular opinion, Anjali is one of my favourite characters of the show and one of the favourite characters I like to work with and hence understand that dedication to Meera cos I love her Anjali's too!

Coming back to the story - good work, Ridz. You closed the Anjali loop and you closed the Aarav loop like I saw it. I could never understand why ArHi adopted him, wouldnt it have made more sense had they showed Anjali adopting him? Of course that would have required a better relationship to be portrayed between the two on the show and lets not talk about how relationships were portrayed on the show at all during those months.

So yes, I really liked this way of closing this loop and introducing someone strong, sensible and honest for Anjali and Aarav.

Thank you so much, Ridzy!!! I hated how they made Anjali's character so spineless and weak in the show. So I love stories that change that :)

I will however come back to edit this comment later. For now, this is a Res, dammit!

this surprisingly did not close a loop for me, great that she gets to move on with her life but she always got what she wanted in life. everyone's world revolves around anjali and imho anjali needed to learn to live without being a queen bee. being a regular drone like the rest of us

payal's wedding broke before the ceremony and she faced society's reaction. true closure would be if you had shown society's reaction to anjali's divorce. i don't blame her for it nor is there anything wrong, it's just that she has had a very pampered existence and society's reaction to his sister would have taught arnav about what he did to khushi's sister. yeah i know he apologised to her but does it really help him understand what she went thru?

The letters concept was just brilliant.
I wished in the show Khushi was seen reading her mother in law's letter.
This really touched my heart.
