"Mujhe yakeen hi nahi hotha ki meri Payalia shaadi kar rahi he!" Buaji said excited. Nani smiled and said "Mujhe bhi Madhu! Par Mujhe Arnav ki bahut fikhar hai! He is 26 now!" "Haan Devyani, Khushi bi ab 24 hai, uski shaadi jald se jald karwana hoga!" Di nearly spit out her coffee and everyone looked at her strangely "What happened dear?" Shyam asked her. "Urm actually urr who kuch nahi, forget it." Anjali stifled back a giggle, she wondered how both of them would react if they heard this conversation. HP walked in and said that Siddharth was here to meet them.
Sid walked in and Buaji was very happy to see him, he sat down and Anjali introduced him to Shyam. "So whats up sid? What brings you here?" Akash asked. Just then NK walked in and so did Arnav and Khushi. "Woh actually Shashi uncle I wanted to ask for your permission." "My Permission? For what son?" Shashi asked confused. Sid looked at Khushi and smiled and said "Actually uncle, I want to ask you for Khushi's hand in marriage, I've loved her ever since I first set eyes on her, please do the honor in giving me her hand." Arnav looked like he was ready to kill Sid. Khushi was shocked and she said "What the hell Siddharth? Im making it clear to you, I do NOT want to get married to you, I barely know you and your JUST my friend, okay?" Khushi held onto Arnav's hand to calm him down. Buaji walked up to her and said "Why not Khushi? I mean you have known Sid for a long time now and he is from a good family, he will take good care of you." "I know that buaji but I don't love him and I definitely will NOT want to spend my life with someone I don't care about! Please!" "No way SankaDevi, you don't know whats good for you, just leave it to me okay! YOU WILL GET MARRIED TO SID AND THAT'S FINAL!" Buaji bellowed. "ENOUGH!" Arnav yelled. Everyone suddenly went eerily quiet and everybody looked at Arnav. He first looked at Sid and said "Okay listen to me Siddharth, Khushi is NOT yours! She is MINE! She LOVES me! She wants to get married to ME! Understood? I love her more than my life, infact she is my entire universe and I cannot imagine my life without her got it? You tried to take her last night as well but don't you get it? She does not have any feelings for you! And Buaji please don't force Khushi into something she doesn't want to do. We both love each other a lot and we want to get married, actually I proposed to her today and she said yes, so I don't think there is any problem or confusion here." Arnav let out a sigh of relief and flashed a 1000watt smile. Khushi grinned and blushed and then held onto his arm. They both looked at everyone. Everybody had their jaws nearly reaching the floor. Siddharth looked like someone just slapped him. Buaji and Amma looked at Khushi and raised their eyebrows in shock, Nani, Akash, Shashi and NK just stared in disbelievment and HP just fainted on the floor which then got everybody back to their senses. Akash and NK dragged Hp back to the room and left all the elders to it. Only Payal and Di were swallowing their laughter. Shashi slowly got up and walked over to Arnav and Khushi. He took Arnav's hand in his and said "Arnav I always liked you son, there was something about you which was very trustworthy and pure and if Khushi wants you, then who are we to stop you, you have my permission son." Khushi burst into tears and hugged her father and Arnav smiled and said "Trust me uncle, I will always take care of Khushi, I won't let anything happen to her. She is my life." Nani walked up to Arnav and hugged him tightly and said "Oh Arnav bitwa, im so happy today, you have completed my life now, the one dream I had was to see you fall in love and im so happy you chose the right life partner." She walked over to Khushi and hugged her too and told her to always take care of Arnav. Sid walked over to Buaji and quietly said "Buaji, I love Khushi and I want her please, please help me!" "Buaji grinned and said "Don't worry come for the dinner tonight and we will plan something ok?" Sid walked over to Arnav and Khushi and said "Why Khushi, Why him and not me?" Arnav was about to say something when Khushi stopped him and said "Look Sid, I love Arnav and I love only him, I can never ever love somebody else, he makes me feel good and he makes my heart beat fast and honestly, I can only exist with him. You sid have always been just a friend to me and thank you for caring about me but we are not for each other. I am only meant to be with Arnav and only him." Arnav looked at her with only love and kissed her on her lips not caring who saw. Khushi didn't pull away; she put her arms around his neck and kissed him back. Sid looked at them with disgust and walked out of the house angrily. NK and Akash had walked back into the lounge and started coughing violently at the scene unfolding in front of their eyes. Khushi's legs were wrapped around Arnav's waist and they were literally consuming each other and Nani and Amma were blushing and slowly looked down, Buaji angrily walked away, Shashi and maamji walked back inside the kitchen trying to avoid the teasing which was obviously going to start. Payal blushed and looked at Akash and he winked at her. Di walked up to the much in love couple and cleared her throat. Arnav and Khushi were so lost in each other that they completely forgot where they were. They soon broke away as they heard Di coughing and Khushi started blushing crimson. She tried to run but Arnav just held her waist tight and smirked at her not at all ashamed. "Looks like our Khushi is sporting a permanent red face!" NK howled at the top of the stairs. If blushing even more was possible, our Khushi wanted the floor to swallow her. Everybody laughed and sat down and started talking about stuff. The doorbell rang and NK went to open the door.
Suddenly NK started screaming and everybody rushed out to see what happened. They saw NK hugging a Girl tightly and he kept on repeating 'I love you, I love you so much!' Everybody wondered who it was except for Khushi who went over and cleared her throat and hugged the girl.
The girl was beautiful, she was tall and slim, her skin was caramel colored and she wore a long maxi dress which stuck to her body like a second skin. She was smiling broadly and never left NK's arms. "Aaliyah right?" Khushi smiled. "Yes! How do you know?" "actually NK told all about you guys and I completely fell in love with your story!" Aaliyah hugged Khushi tightly and said "aww thank you! Looks like I already made a friend huh?" They started laughing and DI walked up and introduced her to everyone and they just got talking. But what everybody noticed was how much in love Aaliyah and NK were, they never left each other's arms and NK kept placing kisses on her face and she kept blushing and playing with his hair Khushi nestled herself into Arnavs arms and stared at the couple.
Now what no one realized was that Shyam was watching everything closely. Shashi had warned him to stay away from Khushi but how could he? When Arnav and Khushi were kissing, Shyam looked like he wanted to bring the whole house down. Now there was only one person who could understand his motives, and that person can help him a lot! He first needed to win Siddharth's trust and then the perfect combo of pure evil. "You better watch out Arnav Singh Raizada'"Shyam grinned evily and walked off'''.
