Some time back I visited your blog and was disappointed to know that you would be taking a break from writing.
However I landed up on this thread purely by chance and read updates 22 and 23 as well as your note to silent readers.
Before I state more on that I would like to thank you for your fanfic recommendations. Your blog and 'scandal' was one of the first stories I read on IF. Because of your 'recommnded fanfics' section I was introduced to an amazing world of fanfics and very talented writers like Munchy, Anne, Meera in the beginning. And IF became a part of my daily routine.
I still follow selected stories on the forum and regularly comment on them.
I might have occasionally commented on your updates. The problem in this case is you dont update regularly (This is not a complain. you have studies and exams that I know) so many times I land up a long time after you have updated. That's still not an excuse for not commenting. But I tend to forget the contents of earlier updates after a gap. Sorry.
I am shocked about the incident mentioned in your note about V232. It's sad that someone stooped down to this level. However I will share another side of story. From reader's POV. There are some FFs where I regularly commented and followed. I never pestered an author to write about certain things or plot. Still when the author made the blog limited to a few readers (probably bcos of people harrasing for certain plots or chnages), I didn't make it to the list. fair enough. your story, you decide who should read. But when I send pm to request for a link I got no response. So I have no clue on what basis my request was rejected, whether the author even bother to read my pm, whether my pm reached the author.
At the end as a reader it is very disappointing that I invest my time and emotions with the story and characters. Then suddenly one day the story is available to only few readers and I am not among them.
So where there are nasty readers, there are some like me as well. I hope you would understand without getting offended.
