Chapter 14

Khushi sighed. She has been in bed all day and had to eat soup, which Arnav forced her to eat. Khushi grinned.
"Time for jalebis!" She squealed as she jumped out of bed rushing to the stairs.
Khushi froze. Memories of her falling entered her mind. She shook the thoughts away and sighed.
"Nothing will stop me from getting jalebis!" Khushi said confidently.
"Really Khushiji?" NK said amused.
Khushi shut her eyes and turned to NK. "Nanheji please don't tell Arnavji!" Khushi begged.
NK laughed "Relax Khushiji. I know how bored you are! I won't stop you."
"What's going on here?" Anjali and Nani came.
Khushi sighed "Anjaliji, Naniji well Arnavji would not let me come out of the room but i REALLY want jalebis so I was just saying to Nanheji that I wanted jalebis."
Anjali and Nani laughed "Go ahead Khushiji" Anjali smiled.
All of a sudden the door slammed shut. Arnav was home.
"Anjaliji Naniji Nanheji please distract Arnavji for atleast 5 minutes so I can get jalebis!" Khushi begged.
The trio nodded as they rushed to Arnav. Khushi sneaked into the kitchen.
"Nanav!" NK exclaimed giving Arnav a hug. Anjali and Nani smiled.
"Di have you checked up on Khushi?" Arnav asked ignoring NK.
Anjali nodded "Yeah just now" Anjali looked quite hesitant.
"What was she doing?"
Khushi saw a box of jalebis. She smiled as she sniffed the aroma of them.
NK,Anjali and Nani looked at eachother.
"She was.." NK started.
"Reading a book! Sleeping! Taking a shower!" Anjali,NK,Nani said all at once.
"What the.. Wait. Khushi was reading a book whilst sleeping whilst taking a shower?" Arnav was confused.
"Atleast she has not left her room and told us to distract you so she could get jalebis!" NK said nervous under pressure.
Anjali and Nani glared at NK.
Arnav looked angry as he stormed up to his room.
"If the bed is empty then i swear-" Arnav paused as he saw Khushi in bed reading a book.
"Hi Arnavji!" Khushi smiled innocently.
"Hi um Khushi" Arnav looked at Khushi confused.
He sat down infront of her, "What did you do today?"
"I was sleeping, then I took a shower and now I am reading a book!" Khushi looked over to the trio, they nodded happily.
"Okay then I guess I will tak-" Arnav stood up and felt a box next to his foot.
Arnav looked at Khushi then under the bed. He picked up the box and opened it.
"Hm so you don't know anything about the box of half eaten jalebis under the bed?" Arnav raised his eyebrows.
Khushi held her ears "Sorry Arnavji. Its just that I don't just want to stay in bed!"
Arnav sighed "Fine you can go around the house but you cannot work at all!" Arnav said.
Khushi smiled and nodded hugging Arnav. Khushi's stomach growled.
Arnav laughed slightly "You go eat. I'll freshen up and come" Arnav smiled as Khushi left with Anjali Nani and NK.
"I'll do anything to see that smile on your face Khushi. Don't worry soon Shyam will be out of our lives. It won't be easy but it will happen." Arnav said smiling.

You may be wondering what Khushi will do to prove Arnav wrong and what will happen in Arnav's and NK's master plan! Well for Khushi proving Arnav wrong that will happen tomorrow in the second upload. And the plan will start tomorrow in the first upload! This one is more of Khushi starting to get back to her normal self! 😊
