Rey Stood in front of the mirror trying to knot his tie...his brows knotted ...it showed how irritated was he.

He heard someone laughing at the door.

"Daddy" it's your princess engagement today...and you still don't know how to knot a tie.

Rey: Sharon...you know na I never knew how to knot it!

Sharon: then why are you trying it...you should have called me right!

Rey: I thought you must be busy...

Sharon: Rey...busy and for you...from past 20 years I am the one doing it! Do you even remember one day when you had knotted it by yourself.

He gave her a smile sheepishly

Sharon just smiled at him and brought him close holding his collar.

Sharon: Rey...when will you learn it. I have explained it so many time to you.

I still remember on Tanya's 7 birthday party...when I was showing you how to do it...Tanya by just seeing it once learned how to do it...and look at you.

Grow up! Your daughter will get married in a few months.

Rey: So what! How far is she going! She is just the next house.

Sharon: Huh! I still don't believe it you bought the house exactly next to ours...by paying the triple amount of it...so that your spoilt princess can stay with you.

Rey: Oh! hello...what do you mean by spoilt! She is my daughter...I have all right to pamper her.

She quickly placed her hand covering his mouth...

Sharon just face palmed and left.

She got ready wearing a black and red net saree and tied her hair into a stylish bun.

She paired it with a antique jewellery set and then picked her diamond studded mangalsutra and wore it and applied sindoor on her forehead.

She stood staring at her...though she has only loved Swayam ...her life definitely changed when she came to know about him loving her.

Though she was never able to reciprocate his feelings... His love for her definitely made a difference.

She was happy that he dint just accept her and Tanya because of the promise he made to Swayam.

She learnt two different meaning of love... Swayam thought her what is pure love...how is it when you surrender yourself to the one you love...how it feels when you become one...how does it feel when your love claims you...how there will be no barrier between you and the one you love.

How it feels when a part of your love grows inside you. How does it feel when you hold a tiny thing in your hand which is part of you both.

The time when she had learnt that Rey loves her...she knew only this meaning of love. She did try surrendering her to him...but he just never felt the need of it.

She still remembered the day when with a heavy heart she went upto rey and told him that she is ready to full fill all the deeds of a wife.

And he took her in his embrace and said.

Rey: Then be happy Sharon! That's all I need.

Sharon: Rey...

Rey: Listen Sharon... I don't need to have any physical relation with you to prove you my love and nor do you to prove you are a good wife.

I just want you to be happy with me ...i know you can never love me...nor I want you too...

Your love is Swayam and always will be...you are my love and always will be.

More than that...you are my best friend...Sharon...remove the guilt or feeling from your heart that you have to love me back or so.

Just be happy with me and our little princess... Just be my best friend all my life ...and that's enough.

He kissed her on her forehead and continued hugging her.
