PART 110

Geet was cocooned lovingly in her Maan's warm folds as their personal jet took off.

Geet: Maan Mumbai mein humari Delhi jaisi thand toh nahi hogina toh phir aapne zabardasti itne saare garm kapde kyun saath mein le liye? [Maan as per my knowledge the cold waves in Mumbai aren't that strong as our Delhi then why did u force me to take loads of warm clothes with us?]

Maan: Geet jabse main lauta hoon tum Mumbai ki hi baate kiye jaa rhai ho tum itni excited kyun ho Mumbai pauchne ke liye? [Geet u r busy talking about Mumbai from the moment I am back can u tell me why are u so excited to reach Mumbai?]

Geet: Maan aapko pata nahi Mumbai mein na ek bada function honewala hai aur waha pe ek Dusht Danav ko felicitate karne wale hai suna hai iss year ka sabse bset Buisness man ka award ussi Mr. Attitude ko mila hai [Maan don't u know there is prestigious award function in Mumbai and I have heard this year one evil Demon called Mr. Attitude is going to be felicitated with the best Buisnessman award]

Maan was shocked to hear Mr. Attitude and Dhusht Danav from Geet's mouth; it was the first time after their marriage that Geet had addressed him with her favorite nick names

Maan: Achhaji toh Mr. Attitude aapke kuch nahi lagte? [It seems like Mr. Attitude is not a part of your life right?]

Geet was in a naughty mood; she knew Maan always got irritated whenever she addressed him with her favourite names

Geet: Maan aap bhina ab aapke paas itna bada garam dimag hai ussi ko use karke bataiye ke bhala aisa kaun hoga jo Mr. Galatfami ki dukan ke saath rehna pasand karegi? [Maan use your brain and tell me which girl would like the company of Mr. Misunderstanding Shop?]

As soon as Maan heard Geet addressing him as Galatfaimi ki dukan the memory of Geet hitting him with a broom during their encounter at the outhouse became fresh in front of his eyes

Geet: Kuch yaad aa gaya Mr. Richie Rich? [It seems u remembered something Mr. Richie Rich?]

Maan's hand started to travel towards his cheek as he remembered the first gift of love that Geet had gifted him "A SLAP" on the roadside

Before Maan's hand could caress his cheek; he felt the soft touch of Geet's lips on it

Geet: Happy meeting Anniversary Maan. I love u

A slight touch of dew made way to Maan's eyes as he brought his wife closer thanking destiny for making her a part of his life

Maan: Geet aaj hi ke din humari mulakat hui thi par uss din mein aur aaj mein kitna fark hai haina? [Geet last year we met each other for the first time on this day but there is such a lot of difference between that day and today]

Geet: Koi farak nahi hai Maan uss din hum ek dusre se dur jaane ke liye raazi nahi the aur aaj koi bhi taakat hume ek dusre se dur nahi kar sakti; uss waqt hum ek dusre se shayad nafrat karte the par wo nafrat hi humari mohabbat ka aagaz thi haina? [There isn't much difference Maan that day we weren't ready to go away from one another and today no power in this world can separate the two of us. We might have harbored immense hatred during our initial meetings but that hatred have given rise to the strong foundation of love that our relationship possesses today]

Maan: Sach keh rahi ho Geet humari khoobsurat rishte ki buniyaad wo nafrat hi thi agar wo nafrat nahi hothi toh shayad hum itne kareeb kabhi bhi nahi aate [U r right Geet the foundation of our love is the seed of hatred; enmity played the role of a perfect cupid to get us closer]

Geet could sense an emotional touch in Maan's words; she didn't want to see her darling husband getting emotional so she decided to get back into a teasing mood

Geet: Waise Maan award function mein Best Secretary ka bhi award milegana? [Maan there will be an award for the best Secretary as well right?]

Maan: Best Secretary? Geet tumhare dimag mein bhina najaane kaise kaise ideas aate rehte hai bhala ye award koi kyun dega?[Best Secretary? Geet r u kidding? There is no award for the best secretary]

Geet: Ae lo tab toh ye award ceremony ka base hi partiality hai [Hmm.. this means the base of this award ceremony itself begins with partiality]

Maan: Geet ismein partiality kaha se aa gayi? [Geet from where did the aspect of partiality come into picture?]

Geet: Maan aaj tak aapne ek bhi kaam meri madat ke bajaye kiya hai? Main aapki secretary nahi hothi na toh aapke garam dimag ke chalte hue koi bhi kaam successful hone se pehle hi the end ho jaata iss liye aapke success ka credit toh mera huana yaani aapki secretary ka? [Maan u have not done any work till date without my help. If I wouldn't have been your secretary then considering your temper your projects would have ended even before it met success. In simple words the credit of your success goes to me your secretary]

Maan: Galat [I disagree]

Geet hit Maan playfully on his chest and moved a bit away from him

Geet: Kya kaha aapne? [What did u say?]

Maan: Yahi ke main tumhari baat se sehmat nahi hoon [Exactly what you heard I disagree with your statements]

Geet: Mr. Attitude Singh Khurana let me reming u behind every successful man there is a woman

Geet cutely pouted her lips and twisted her nose with his answer

Maan fell in love all over again with her cute gestures

Maan hugged Geet and brought her closer

Maan: Mere success ke peeche sirf ek secretary nahi ho sakthi mere success ke peeche wo ladki hai jisne ek Attitude Singh Khurana ke peeche chupe hue Maan ko pehchana [A secretary can't be the reason of my success. The credit of my success goes to the girl who recognized the true Maan who was hiding behind the mask of Attitude Singh Khurana]

Geet's eyes met his soul searing gaze as Maan caressed his wife's soft rosy cheeks with utmost love

Maan: Kamiyaabi ki pehli seedi maine tab teh kiya jab mere haath uss ladki ne thama jo ke meri saaso mein ruh banakar shaamil ho gayi [I climbed the first step of success the day I met the girl who held by hand by becoming the soul of my breaths]

Geet's face was adorned magically with a beautiful blush

Maan: Secreatary toh kayi mil sakthi thi par uss ladki ki jagah meri zindagi mein koi nahi le sakta jaanti ho kyun? Kyunki wo ladki meri pehchaan hai jiske bagair koi bhi subah mere liye sawera nahi la sakthi… [I can get many secretaries but no one can take the place of my special girl do u know the reason? The reason is coz that girl is my identity without whom none of my days will bring the message of sunlight with it…]

Maan: Meri Geet anmol hai aur khabardaar agar dubara mere success ka credit kisi secretary ko diya toh agar credit dena hai toh kehna Maan ki kamiyaabi ke peeche uski Geet ka haath hai wo Geet jisse wo iss duniya mein sabse zyada mohabbat karta hai [My Geet is precious and dare if u try to give the credit of my success to any secretary. If u want to give the credit then u should say proudly that Geet is behind Maan's success a lady who is the most beloved possession of Maan in this world]

Geet moved her hand to caress Maan's cheek but Maan held her hand and kissed her fingers passionately and uttered

Maan: I love u Geet thanks for making my life a living paradise for me

Geet placed her head on his chest and hugged him tightly

Maan: Geet main tumhe kahi le jaana chahta hoon cahlogi mere saath? [Geet I want to take u somewhere will u come with me?]

Geet pressed her lips on his chest and hummed a beautiful song

Geet:

There was no need to say anything after this the kiss that followed gave a perfect start to the most romantic journey of Maaneet…
