Shaina felt so heartbroken when Rathore didnt remember her at all, and what the doctor said was even more depressing. She was completely shattered and fell down on the floor on her knees, and started to sob her heart out. She hated herself for leaving Rathore alone and going to Italy, maybe if she had stayed back, then she would have saved him. Right now nothing made any sense to her except that she felt guilty for leaving him alone. Everyone looked at her with tears, and Riya rushed to her, knelt on her knees and gave Shaina a big and tight hug. Riya tried her best to reassure and calm her, but she wasn't succeeding at all. Shaina got up and ran to go to Rathore's room. But she had become very hysterical due to everything that happened lately, Arjun stopped her from going inside. Shaina fought with Arjun and tried to run to Rathore, but she was too weak, but she still didnt accept defeat and struggled to get out of his grip.

"Leave me! I have to go to him! How will i live without him? How will i survive if he forgets me forever?" she screamed, "I have to make him remember me! Please let me go," she pleaded. After struggling for some time, she had no energy in her and finally fainted in Arjun's arms.

Arjun picked her up and carried her out in a room which was available, and made her lie on the bed. Riya had followed them, she was herself very sad that Rathore had completely forgotten her, but the pain as Shaina was living was way more than she was feeling. Even Arjun couldn't watch Shaina in such a state, his eyes filled up looking at her. Riya saw how worried Arjun was for Shaina, she went behind him, and put her hands on his shoulders and said that everything will be ok. Without turning, Arjun put his hands on hers and said, "Let's hope so! Stay with her, i'll be with others and Sameer bhai!" and went away. Riya went to sit next to Shaina, and use her hands to caress Shaina's forehead gently for a long time till Shaina woke up. When Shaina woke up, she was at first lost at where she was, but soon she remembered everything, and the tears started to fall silently from her eyes. She got up,looked at Riya and went in Riya's arms for solace.

"Everything will be ok, we are all with you! Dont worry gradually with time, we'll re-create everything of his past till he remembers. Dont be so sad, dont accept defeat. Get up and be strong!" Riya finally said to Shaina.

Shaina nodded her head and said that she wanted to go to Rathore. Riya agreed but asked her to mask a bit her swollen eyes with make-up since they didnt want Rathore to see her in this state. Rathore was sitting on the bed, talking with everyone. The doctor had managed to tell him that he was in the year 2012, and that he had been shot during his duty. Hopefully till now Rathore took everything well, but soon when he tried to remember about these lost two years, his head started hurting too much, that they had to give him some painkillers and he went to sleep/

"It seems that he must remember everything by himself now. Dont force him too much. This may cause high pressure in his veins, and may lead to greater damage!" the doctor said and went away. Shaina came in just when Rathore was going to sleep. She was completely at lost at how she must proceed now. Thankfully the whole family was here for her, and everyone encouraged her. It was almost midnight now, the nurses informed them to go home, and if they wanted only one could stay. Shaina wanted to stay, but since Rathore didn't remember her, they all refused her. Finally it was agreed that Arjun would stay here, till the morning where everyone can come back.

They all returned home, Mrs Rawte arranged a guest room for Shaina, but she was so afraid of staying alone for the time being. So in the end, she and Riya stayed together in one room. Throughout the whole night, neither Riya nor Shaina could sleep. Occasionally Shaina would get up and start crying, but Riya was everytime there for her and made her sleep back. Finally it was around 7 o'clock when Riya got up, she saw that Shaina was sleeping, so didnt wake her up and went out of the room in her pyjamas itself to Dadi's room first. But Dadi wasn't in her room, she went to look for Trishna, but she neither was here. She didnt saw anyone in the whole house, she came across a servant and asked him about the family, and he replied that everyone had gone very early to the hospital.

She was just turning to go back to her room, when she heard the main door opened. She thought that the whole family had returned, and quickly went to ask about Rathore. But unfortunately for her, it was only Arjun. She went towards him to ask about Rathore, but was reticent when she saw how tired he was. Arjun saw Riya coming towards him, probably she wanna know about Rathore, he thought, so without waiting for her to ask about it, he said it himself, "He's a bit better. Hopefully in two days time, he'll be discharged."

He was so tired that he went towards a sofa and threw his body on it and closed his eyes for some time. Within a few minutes he had fallen asleep. Riya didn't want to disturb him, so she tiptoed out of the there, and went to her room to shower and brush her teeth. Finally after one hour, she was ready for work, and came out for some breakfast. She was going to sit, when she heard some noises and saw that Arjun was already up, had showered and changed and was here for breakfast too. She felt so sad for him, how tired he must be, but still he's already ready for work also.

"Why dont you take a day off today?" Riya mentioned to him while buttering some toast for her.

Arjun didnt reply to her at all, took seat just next to her, and once Riya had buttered her toast, Arjun took it from her plate and started eating it. Riya didnt like it and was going to chide him on his manners, but one look at his tired face, she forgot about it. Instead she buttered some more toast, and put it on his plate.

"You'll have anything else? You'll drink tea or juice?" Riya asked him.

"Some juice only," Arjun replied while munching his toast.

Riya took out a glass for him, cleaned it with a tissue, poured some juice for him and gave it to him. Arjun had a smile when he observed Riya and her hygiene obsession. He drank the juice, waited for her to finish her breakfast and told her that he'll drop her to and from work everyday as from today.

"I'll be waiting for you outside," Arjun said and went out, however he returned back to her, bent down gave her a kiss on her right cheek and said, "Thanks for the breakfast, you'd make a good wife," gave her a wink and went out.

Riya touched her cheek where Arjun had kissed, she was so embarrassed and turned a beautiful crimson.

"Who are they?" Rathore asked pointing towards Riya and Shaina.

"riya works with us in etf, while shaina is her sister. Due to some problems they are staying with us," Arjun replied.

"so what do you do in life?" Rathore asked shaina.

"i'm a model!" shaina replied.

Rathore face changed on hearing that she was a top model. Belatedly Shaina remembered that Rathore hated top models. He had once told her about it, in fact their story had started on very bad grounds, hatred at first, but gradually they had fallen in love.

Riya asked Shaina what happened, why she looked worried all of a sudden.

"He hates top models, he thinks that we are cheap girls, what with the clothes we wear and the company we keep. He had hated me a lot when we first met, we used to only fight, but then we gradually fell in love," Shaina replied with a sad face.

"You made him fall for you earlier nah, then who's preventing you to make him fall in love again with you now," Riya said with a smile.
