The truth behind their contract marriage never came out, have you ever thought why? Even if ASR reveals it now, there will be no impact or understanding for Khushi's plight because hey, she had gone through all that and ASR was a naughty boy. But he married Khushi again, so it's all good.

No one will feel the pain of the girl who was deserted by everyone she loved including the family she sacrificed her happiness, her dreams for without knowing her fault or the reason behind it; forced to sleep in Delhi's winter on the poolside with only a blanket and a pillow; suffering mental and emotional abuse in the day and physical abuse in the night.

If I didn't know better, I'd have thought that the re-marriage was a great strategy to forever keep her mouth shut and her abuse hidden.

Think about it,

First, convince the girl that you love her. Being an orphan, she is so thirsty for love that she will do anything to keep that love happy and safe. She will go as far as to keep her mouth shut when everyone points a finger at her upbringing and/or character.

Second, make sure that she never feels the injustice of your silence regarding your deeds by doing small things once in a while that won't take anything more than a simple thought on your part. She will be so grateful that she will never question you that why aren't you telling everyone the truth and why are you watching her being humiliated and insulted every day.

Third, to make sure that she understands that you are repenting your actions and doesn't actually blurt out the truth in pain, make sure you say sorry when you are alone, so that no one knows what you did to her but she melts in joy seeing your great humble self.

Fourth, defend her only as far as your deeds remain hidden. Make sure that everyone knows what a supportive husband you are and she feels that you are doing everything possible you can for her. Takes the pressure off from her to reveal the truth.

Fifth, agree to re-marry her. Once it's done, then all your past deeds with be wiped out permanently. Her family won't be able to charge you with abuse or blackmail because hey, now you are a real husband. Your family already likes her service. You don't have any problem with her. She works harder to please than all your servants put together and only asks that you smile at her once in a while in exchange. Doesn't take holidays, doesn't demand her own rights as a wife and she is so scared of losing her love that she won't ever do anything that might make you angry enough to throw her out.

In fact, from a business point of view, she is the most cost-effective employee.

Sixth, make sure your family life doesn't get disrupted because of this re-marriage thing because family is family and family comes first. They also called wife a family but everyone knows a wife is just an outsider who comes to slave over the family. Anyways, should this remarriage in anyway hampers your family, stop it in the middle. But make sure you make her feel guilty for feeling bad about it. Because after all, the woman who feels bad about having her wedding disrupted constantly because of the groom's family problems and complains about it is a selfish bi*ch. She may feel sad at seeing her dream wedding being disrupted, but she will never open her mouth.

Seventh, after re-marriage make sure she knows that from now on, her life is dedicated to your family's service. She will at all time make sure that your family is happy and satisfied. Throw occasional smile and hugs to keep her from complaining. And you'll have all the freedom and rights to live your life as per your choice.

But make sure that you practice your guilt trap. That is your power over her. Every time she does anything that remotely is something you don't want or planned, make her feel guilty. She is so eager to please you, she will fall for it every time. Then be magnanimous and forgive her. So that she can continue her worship at your feet.

When you plan an outing and give her orders to be ready and she doesn't get ready as per your plan (like brings your family with you), make her feel guilty for hurting your feelings. (Forget all the time you hurt hers, just concentrate on your feelings not hers).

When she tries to make it up to you and makes a fool of herself, let her make a fool of herself and later make her feel guilty about it but later forgive her. Using the guilt trip too much loses it's power.

If she meets your ex and gets suspicious about a miniature replica she calls her son, make her feel guilty about being old-fashioned and not trusting your words, so that she can't complain or ask any uncomfortable question you don't want to give answers to (again forget all the time you made her feel guilty for you not trusting her).

If she happen to get so suspicious that she does DNA test and looks like you might be caught with your hands in the cookie jar (no gutter puns intended), then make her feel so guilty for being a suspicious normal wife that if she checks the report after that, she will only prove that she is a suspicious wife who can only break your heart because you truly believe when it comes to you, love equals trust.

In fact, make sure that she knows that if she ever tries to find out the truth, it will displease you so much that you just might leave her because how can anyone forgive such a huge betrayal? (Forget all the time you did exactly that)

Now you are free to tease, banter, flirt with your ex in front of your wife because if she gets upset and complaints then she will prove that she doesn't trust your words "meant nothing" and hurt your tender feelings. And as you know that she takes her name so seriously that hurting your feelings might just kill her with guilt.

Lovely strategy and if ASR was a negative character like Shyam, his actions would fit with the concept. Now that would be an amazing twist no one ever expected.
