I know this isn't exactly any sort of fan fiction, but it IS from a fan and it'll only take a minute to read...
I was really quite moved yesterday when I heard that Yash Chopra (may he RIP) passed away... Not only because I really respected him, but what also bothered me was how. He died due to dengue; to think a simple mosquito bite was all it took. It's really a wake up call for all of us. With all due respect, when a legend so great like himself had no power over such a simple thing as a bug no larger than 2 grains of rice, who are we to think so high and mighty of ourselves? I guess we can take something to learn from this, that no matter how rich or famous or powerful we become in our lives, in the end, we are all as minute in this universe as the next person. And when a problem arises, what we will have by our sides when we lay on our deathbeds will not be our money or fans or power, but our friends. So lets swallow all our pride and make sure that when our inevitable day does come, the people who knew us will be mourning our absence, rather than taking joy in the so-called fortunes we left behind.
