Chapter 10 (A)

Knock knock..

"May I come in sir ?"

"ah..yes ms.kashyab come in"

She entered Nk's cabin with a notepad and pen in hand.

"Here is the file you asked for sir" she leaned a little and placed the yellow colored file on top of his table.

"thank you ms.kashyab you may go"

She turned to leave but ... "wait ms.kashyab just one minute"

Lavanya groaned internally. This is just to much, I have been working around since morning didn't even take a little break in between and now when I am completely exhausted he still doesn't leave me alone ! she thought just as she turned back to face her boss.

"yes sir ?"

"collect the files for AR project from Alice and with her help prepare all the papers required for the project. We and some other designers will have to go there to work on this project"

Lavanya's mind worked quickly putting two and two together. OMG ! It couldn't be ! could it ? both are fashion designing houses afterall ...oh god ! what am I gonna do ?? how will I face him ?! Nk obviously will take me with him after all I am his PA now ! she though panic and anxiety taking over her.

Just to make sure she told herself as she asking if by the AR project he meant AR design's project which belonged to ASR, she already knew the answer.

NK looked at the woman in front of him with an incredulous and amused expression. The look on her face at his confirmation was one he could only describe as horror. Sheer panic. He was confused at her reaction. Did she knew ASR personally? He briefly wondered concerned but soon got distracted from his line of thoughts as he watched his PA rush at the speed of a tornado out of his cabin. The look of dread still etched on her face.

He shook his head and went back to work. Her thoughts still lingering at the back of his mind

He watched mesmerized as her wet tresses flowed while with the help of a fluffy pink towel she dried them. Her eyes closed. Her lips humming the tune of an old love song which he was sure he had heard in his childhood but couldn't recognize. He was still partially asleep when she had entered from the washroom clad in a plain white salwar suit embroidered with some floral design. Her hair wet and skin glowing. Arnav had noticed it long ago that khushi had a natural and earthly beauty. She didn't need make-up, long hours in beauty parlors and surgeries to look beautiful like all the other girls he had been with.

As time had fled and their friendship grew he found himself thinking how lucky he was to have her in his life. Even if their relationship wasn't of how any normal husband and wife he felt responsible towards her and decided to do his best to always keep her happy.

i was tired really tired of not updating so i posted whatever i had written already as part 1 of this chapter and will post next part hopefully soon

i am just really busy with studies this whole year as it 12th and all
