Arnav had picked Khushi up in the morning and they were on their way to Mumbai. Almost an hour and a half had passed by since they left Pune but other than saying a "Hi" to each other when they had met, they both have been profusely silent. Arnav eyes were set on the road while Khushi was listening to music on her ipod but occasionally they used to side glance each other.

Khushi starts feeling hungry so she takes out the tiffin that was given by Buaji before they left. She opens the tiffin and finds sandwiches packed. She takes one out and was about to start eating but she stops and look at Arnav.

Khushi (self - thought): I guess I should ask him if he wants as well! He is driving for so long ... He might be starving! Poor guy ... WHAT ... Did I just call him poor guy ... Oh god Khushi you have absolutely lost it! You are calling this arrogant and egoistic guy Poor! The way he has behaved with me I should just let him to starve instead of pitying on him! ... No Khushi ... you can't do that ... just because he is an arrogant laad governor ... you don't have be one! Just ask him ... Yeah that's what I am going to do!

After making up her mind she turned towards him but he was already looking at her with inquisitiveness. Arnav had seen her lost in thoughts with the tiffin open. His eyes were shifting from her face to the tiffin, then to the road and then back again to her face. This cycle continued until Khushi turned towards him. Khushi cleared her throat and started talking -

Khushi: Uhhh ... Do you want some sandwich?

Arnav: You bought tiffin from home?

Khushi: Uhhh ...Yaaa!

Arnav gave her a 'Are you insane?' look.

Khushi: Whaaat?

Arnav: You do know that there are restaurants here right ... No one carries tiffins around nowadays!

Khushi: I do know that ... but I don't like to starve till we find a good one and I like home-made food more than the one we get in restaurants! So I carry these!

Arnav: Unbelievable!

Khushi ignored his "Unbelievable" and asked him -

Khushi: So do you want some?

Arnav: No!

Listening to that Khushi puffed angrily and started eating ignoring Arnav. Arnav continued to drive but occasionally he used to glance at Khushi. He was surprised that in matter of few minutes she had finished eating one sandwich and had started eating the next one. Eventually even he started feeling hungry but he was hesitated to ask Khushi. He glanced towards Khushi but she had already finished eating by then. He looked back at the road and started searching for a restaurant.

Arnav (self - thought): I should have just accepted it when she had given! Can't find any restaurants also!

He saw a man walking on the road so he stopped the vehicle next to him.

Arnav: Excuse me!

Man: Ji?

Arnav: Bhaisap yahan aas pas koi restaurant hai?(Is there a restaurant nearby?)

Man: Hai Na ... Thees kilometer baad ek dabba hai! Bohat accha khana milta hai waha! (There in a dabba after 30km. You get good food there.)

Arnav: Dabba? ... 30km?

Man: Ji!

Arnav: Koi 5 star restaurant nahi hai kya aas pas? (Aren't there any 5 star restaurants nearby?)

Man: Nahi saheb ... woh tho aap ko Mumbai shehar main he milaga! (No sir ... now you would find that only in the Mumbai city)

Arnav: What the!

Man: Ji?

Arnav: Uhhh ... Shukriya! (Thanks)

Saying that he started driving again ignoring Khushi who was looking at him curiously. Khushi had heard his stomach rumbling a while before but she was waiting for him to ask her for the sandwiches. She was shocked when he started asking that man for a five star restaurants on the express highway. She pressed her lips tight to control herself from laughing when she looked at Arnav's million dollar expression when that man had said that he would find the restaurants only in Mumbai.

She could still hear his stomach rumbling so she took the tiffin out again and held it open in front of him. Arnav was shocked to see that and was about to refuse when his stomach rumbled again. He took one sandwich from it and silently started eating it with one hand while controlling the steering with the other hand.

After a while they reached Mumbai. They were stuck in the traffic signal when a boy selling roses came towards them.

Boy: Bhaiya aapko phool chaiye? (Do you want some flowers?)

Arnav: Nahi!

Boy: Bhaiya ley lijiye na ... Didi ko acha lagega! (Please buy them ... Didi will like it)

Arnav: What the!

Boy: Bhaiya lijiye na ... Ache aur taze phool (Please buy them ... they are fresh)

Arnav: Main ne kaha na nahi chaiye! (I said I don't want them)

Boy: Bhaiya please! Sirf dus rupiya hai! (They are only Rs10)

Khushi who was listening to their conversation interrupted -

Khushi: Suno ... yahan aao! (Come here)

The boy came towards her side and she asked him to give her five flowers. She gave him money for it and along with it she gave the sandwich that was left in the tiffin. The boy became very happy and he left. Arnav was shocked with what Khushi did and gave her a "Have you lost it?" look when she turned towards him.

Khushi: Whaaat?

Arnav: You are unbelievable!

Khushi: Huh???

Arnav: You brought those roses which are not going to be of any use to you and on top of it you gave him the remaining sandwich!

Khushi: Ya ... So what? Did you see how happy he was when I gave him the sandwich? Just because he is poor does not mean he does not have a stomach ... like us even he will feel hungry. He must have not eaten anything. Poor boy he is running around in traffic signals selling flowers when kids his age are going to school. He is going to save the money I gave him for his family needs instead of buying something for himself. At least the sandwich I gave him will fill his stomach and give him energy to run around for a while.

Arnav: There are other kids like him as well! Are you going to do the same with every other kid that you see?

Khushi: Yes ... I would!

Arnav: But what is the use of only you doing it? By just one person doing such things is not going to change those kids' lives!

Khushi: I know that! But at least it's a start! I can begin it and one day probably someone else will also do it after watching me.

Listening to what Khushi said; Arnav could not deny that he was impressed. He gave her an appreciative look to which she smiled back. He then turned towards the road and started driving to the boutique where they had to collect Lavanya's dress and jewelleries when the signal turned green.
