Finally I am back since things have more or less settled down at home and I suppose the timing of my return couldn't get better than this since it's our favourite show's 3rd anniversary😃 This is my small treat to you guys. It's been a while since I've written so I just hope that I haven't forgotten how to write😆

Chapter - 11
"Meera, get up!", Geet yelled from the kitchen.
When she didn't get any response or hear any movement she made her way to Meera's room.
"Kya karoon main iss ladki ka?!", she exclaimed to herself when she saw Meera sleeping.
"Meera……Meera utho!"
"Umm….5 minutes Geet.", Meera mumbled in her sleep and turned her back to her.
"Meera! Utho!", Geet said loudly while whacking Meera on her back. "Your to be in- laws are coming over for lunch today, remember?"
"Oh no!", Meera yelled while leaping out her bed. "It completely slipped my mind! What time is it Geet?", she panicked.
"It's 11:30 am.", Geet said while keeping her hands on her hip. "And madam had been sleeping for almost 13 hours!"
"Oh no! Now what do I do? They'll be here in one hour and I still haven't made anything!", Meera said while pacing around.
"Don't worry. I finished making everything so all you have to do is get ready within an hour.", Geet said, smiling.
"Really?! OMG Geet! You're the best!", Meera said, engulfing her in a bear hug.
"I know I am. Now enough of all this. Go and get ready, quick!", Geet said while pushing her towards the washroom.
"I'll be ready in half an hour.", Meera said while locking the bathroom door.

"They'll be here in 15 minutes.", Meera said. " I am feeling a little nervous Geet."
"Relax Meera. You met them day before yesterday and you said that his parents are nice. I am sure it'll go well.", Geet reassured her.
"I hope so.", Meera said anxiously while looking at the door.
Geet's mobile started to ring. " Hello!", she answered.
"Hello, Geet maam. It's me, Priya."
"Yes Priya. What is it?"
"Maam, you'll have to come to the office today."
"What! But today is a holiday!", Geet said.
"I know but it's urgent."
"Fine!", Geet sighed. "I'll be there in half an hour."
"What happened Geet?", Meera asked.
"I am sorry Meera but I'll have to go to the office now. It's urgent.", Geet said.
"Oh!" Meera said disappointedly.
"I am sorry.", Geet apologized.
"No, it's ok Geet. You should go since it's urgent. I'll be fine.", Meera tried to reassure her.
"Are you sure?", Geet asked.
"Positive. You should get going now."
"Ok. If you need anything call me.", Geet said while taking her bag.
"I will. Come home soon.", Meera said, waving to her.

After talking for a while, Yash and his parents made their way into Meera's dining room.
"Bro said that he'll be here at 1:00 pm. It's almost time. Should I call him?", Yash thought to himself.
"When did he say that he'll be coming with bhabi?", his father asked him.
"He should be here any minute now dad.", Yash told him.
"He must be busy in some meeting. Give him some time.", Yash's mom said.
"No way mom, bro is very punctual. I am sure…..", Yash couldn't complete his sentence as the door bell rang. "Dekha, he's here on time."
"I'll go see who it is.", Meera said while walking towards the door.
"I better come with you.", Yash said while following her.
"Why?", Meera asked.
"You might just get the shock of your life.", Yash said while giving her a conspiratorial grin.
"Oh come on!", Meera said. "It's not like he's Maan Singh Khu…..", she couldn't complete her sentence as she was shocked seeing the person who was standing right in front of her.
"I told you you'd be shocked.", Yash said, laughing at her expression.
"Hello Meera. It's nice to meet you.", Yash's bro said while stretching his hand out to shake her hand. "I am ….", before he could complete his sentence Meera fainted.
"Is that the kind of effect I have on people?!"
" No bro, that's the kind of effect you have on women." Yash said, laughing while sprinkling water on Meera's face.
