Dear haruhi,

Very nice going, light and airy like a souffle that comes off.

What I liked best here is that Riya is in no way besotted with Arjun, and he is equally startled at the sudden attraction he feels for her. The lines "He both hated it, and felt a relief that somehow after Roshni's depth, he wasn't only a living corpse. He was also afraid of what just happened, since he didn't feel he was ready nor wanted to fall for someone again." are especially good, as they capture his dilemma perfectly.

All in all, it is promising, especially in terms of style. The content will undoubtedly come in due time, but I hope you will maintain the focus on the mystery and not let it get overwhelmed by the Arjun-Riya angle just because of the clamour for more of that. In a thriller, the romantic element should be a tadka, not the main dish!
