Angad and Kripa were still in their bedroom. Kripa asked Angad about the phone calls.
Kripa: "Angad…"
Angad: "Yeah?"
Kripa: "You know the phone calls you received…who were they from. I mean to say, what was all that about?"
Angad started laughing.
Angad: "Kripa, the reason I didn't want to tell you about the person on the phone was because he was your party planner. He was the man that organised everything. I just put the things together."
Kripa: "Awww, that was so sweet, but Angad, I think that you should have not wasted your time doing that."
Angad: "Kripa, I know you were expecting something like that so be quiet. And plus, you're my wife now, I should do stuff like that for you. Oh yeah, and remember, I'm expecting something like that back."
Kripa: "O.k. Angad, don't worry, I'll buy you a pony on your birthday."
Kripa and Angad started laughing.
Angad: "Cheeky."
Suddenly Angad mobile rang.
Kripa looked at him suspiciously.
Kripa: "What are you up to now?"
Angad: "Nothing…hang on."
Angad answered his mobile. He saw that Prithvi was calling.
Angad: "Hey Prithvi, what did they say."
Prithvi was about to reply but was interrupted by Kripa in the background.
Kripa (whispering): "Oh it's Prithvi, oh my god, pass the phone."
Kripa went to grab the mobile off Angad but he held her back onto the bed.
Kripa: "Angad get off me. Let me talk to him."
Angad: "Ssshhh let me talk to him first."
Kripa: "O.k. hurry up."
Angad: "So Prithvi, what did they say?"
Prithvi: "Angad…"
Angad: "Yeah what? What did they say?"
Prithvi (screaming): "THEY SAID YES!!!"
Angad (happy and surprised): "WHAT…really?"
Prithvi: "Yes yes, and we are getting engaged soon. Well, mum and dad were saying 'jald se jald' so that means any time next week. Angad, I'm so happy."
Angad: "Prithvi, I'm so happy for you."
Kripa (whispering): "What did they say?"
Angad (whispering): "They said yes."
Kripa (screaming): "AAAHHH, oh my god, now let me talk to him, please!"
Angad: "O.k. here you go."
Angad gave the mobile to Kripa.
Kripa: "Hey jiju, so you're getting hooked up with my sister yeah? Awww I'm so happy for both of you. By the way, where's Simmone?"
Prithvi (shyly): "She's here."
Kripa: "Awww, bless you. Give the phone to her."
Prithvi gave Simmone the phone to talk to Kripa.
Simmone (screaming): "KRIPAAA!!!"
Kripa (screaming): "SIMMONEEE!!!"
Simmone: "Oh my god."
Kripa: "I know, oh my god."
Angad tapped Kripa on her shoulder.
Angad: "Is that all you're going to say?"
Angad took the phone off Kripa.
Angad: "This is how you are meant to talk…"
Kripa sat and folded her arms like a little child.
Angad (posh): "Simmone, I wish you all the best in life, even though you're going to spend the rest of it with a monkey. I really do pity you, but all the best anyway."
Kripa started hitting Angad. She grabbed the phone back off him. Angad started laughing.
Kripa: "Simmone, he's joking around with you. Prithvi is going to keep you happy. And he's not a monkey, you should see my hubby…he's a gorilla."
Simmone started laughing.
Kripa noticed that Angad was getting vexed.
Kripa: "Ermmm, Simmone, I'll call you inabit. Bye."
Simmone: "O.k. Kripa bye."
Kripa put the phone down.
Angad: "Oh so I'm a gorilla."
Kripa (laughing): "No I didn't really mean that. I meant to say that…"
Angad: "Yeah yeah, I know what you meant. You just want a demonstration now don't you?"
Angad moved closer and closer to Kripa.
Kripa (still laughing): "No I don't. Angad get lost."
Angad (naughtily): "No, I have to give you a demonstration now."
Angad grabbed Kripa back onto the bed and got to business…

Everyone gets ready for the engagement.

As the days went on, it was getting closer to Prithvi and Simmone's engagement. Kripa and Simmone had gone out shopping and so had Angad and Prithvi.


It was two days before the engagement. Everyone was rushing in and out of Khanna house, getting the decorations complete as soon as possible. Kripa and Naina were decorating the inside of Khanna house, and Dilip and Angad were decorating the outside of Khanna house's entrance. Prithvi had gone to the wedding shop with Simmone to get their engagement clothes. Through all the past week, Angad and Kripa didn't even get a chance to talk to each other. But they knew how important it was to get everything sorted, so they didn't try to take time out to talk.


At Khanna house: 10:00pm
Finally, all the decorations had been complete. Everyone was so tired.
Kripa: "Aunty, I'm tired, I'm going up to sleep. Goodnight."
Naina: "O.k. good night beta."
After Kripa had gone to her bedroom, Angad and Dilip came in.
Dilip: "Naina, Kripa kahan hai?"
Naina: "She's gone upstairs, she's really tired."
Angad thought finally this was a good chance to talk to Kripa after so long.
Angad (yawning): "Mum, I'm tired as well, I'm going up."
Naina: "Teek hai beta. Goodnight."
Angad (walking up the stairs): "Goodnight mum."


In Angad and Kripa's bedroom:
When Angad came into the bedroom, he round Kripa fast asleep on the bed. He walked up to the bed, and sat where Kripa was sleeping. Putting his hands on her face, Angad kissed Kripa on her forehead. After a little while, Angad got changed into his night clothes and went fast asleep, next to Kripa.


In the morning: At Khanna house
Naina (shouting): "Angad, wake up!"
Naina (again: "Angad! Wake up now!"
Suddenly, Angad woke up by the sound of Naina shouting.
Rubbing his eyes, he got up and went to the bath room. After washing his face and brushing his teeth, he began to shave. Whilst he was putting the shaving foam on, Kripa knocked on the bathroom door.
Kripa: "Angad, open up, I need to get something."
Angad opened the bathroom door.
Angad: "What do you need?"
Kripa (entering the bathroom): "I left my hair ribbon here. (looking round) where did I put it?"
Angad continued applying the foam on him, whilst Kripa was searching for her hair ribbon.
Seeing Kripa look so worried over a hair ribbon, Angad started laughing and brought Kripa in front of him.
Angad: "Why are you so worried over a hair ribbon? Leave it, your hair looks nice open."
Kripa: "No Angad, I need it. I'm cooking in the kitchen. What it some hair gets into the food?"
Angad: "I'll eat it then."
Kripa: "Ewww Angad, that's disgusting."
They both started laughing.
Naina (shouting from downstairs): "Kripa, come down beta."
Angad: "My mum man, I tell you, she doesn't even let us talk for a bit."
Kripa: "O.k. Angad, I'm going. Finish off shaving and come down. Guests are going to come any minute now."
Angad: "What? But it's only 11:00 am."
Kripa: "I know, but you know how the women are like - always complaining to there husband about how late they are."
Angad: "Yeah, thank god you don't do that."
Kripa: "Awww."
Saying this, Kripa accidentally kissed Angad's cheek, on where the shaving foam was.
Kripa: "Ewww, that got into my mouth."
Angad started laughing. Kripa washed her face, and took the foam off it.
Seeing Angad laugh, Kripa got some water from the sink and splashed it onto Angad's face.
Angad: "You're dead Kripa."
They both started having a water fight. But they soon stopped.
Naina (shouting for Kripa once again): "Kripa, hurry up beta."
Kripa: "I'm coming aunty."
As Kripa left the bathroom, she playfully slapped on his cheek and ran off laughing.
Angad (thinking): "she's so dead when she comes back up."
