This was bittersweet because of all the pain and the hope. No matter how strong we are, we will feel emotions when we see our loved ones battling for their life. The effect of the chemo on his beautiful wife was a devastating shock to his system but after taking a moment to reflect on this, he comes back to be her pillar again, to help her move on. I have seen 2 strong people battle this evil disease and the effect it had on them. One can never be prepared for this no matter how much we read about it or talk to professionals about it, there is always hope and I am glad you ended this short update on that note. I hope for them there is a miracle, that he does get to see her pregnant, with grey hairs and all.

What abeautiful and emotionally touching update.

Love this Arnav. Khushi is lucky to have him as part of her life.

Cancer is eating into her, but she has Arnav's love to take her through.

Lovely story. Sad but lovely.

Wonderful last two updates. It mirrors something that a v dear friend is going through right now, so it's too close to comment but may I say you've captured the essence of what people impacted go through

hope will always be there ... as long as the person is there ...

love the emotional support Arnav is giving Khushi ...

the worst thing is to see a loved one suffering ...

i dont know for whom i felt bad more...
both are equally suffering but in totally different way, or is it!
you wrote the scenes with so much care and sincerity, its hard to not touch one's heart...
i am just lost in the magic of words dear..

I loved how strong Arnav is being for his Khushi...it's really very commendable ...

This was really very emotional and very heartfelt. i wish they both continue to give strength and support to each other...then half the battle is won...

Please update..Cherished Wounds when you get a chance..your writing is so Mesmerizing...and amazing!

Your writing is resplendant. Seriosuly. Its sheer poetry and who doesn't enjoy it when it is being recited so beautifully?

But I do have a few doubts.

1. I was under the impression that Khushi's cancer was caught ealry (stage1 or 2) unlike shalu's and she had started her chemo session early on (in college). Why hasn't there been a verdict as to whether or not she is in remission or not.

2. After college there was a six month gap. Having known people who has undergone cancer, I know that there are fixed number of sessions for chemo because the body cannot take beyond a certain number. So, does it mean Khushi was never in remission?

3. Cancer patients lose hair only during chemo sessions. Why is Khushi losing hair now? Is Khushi undergoing chemo again?

4. I was under the impression the chemo causes hairloss and the hair falls out in clumps. and that is why people shave their head. Am I wrong?

For me this story is about writing style...you have this talent to present written prose and make it sound like effortlessly written poetry.

I'm sorry, if I offended you with the questions but wanted to check with you because I I do wait for your updates eagerly.
