Ashar had to cry. There is no way he can still pretend to be unaffected. I was instantly taken back to the time my wedding and when I was expecting my mom to cry buckets and dad to shed a few tears, but, of all the people, it was my elder brother who cried when my husband tied the mangalsutra around my neck (there is no bidai in our tradition, tying the Mangalsutra marks matrimony). My brother means a lot to me. Thank you for refreshing my memories vividly.
