PART 592 days later :
Shilpa set changing the diapers of the twins while Naina paced in the room..
"So you mean to say from two days there is no news about him.. Didint i tell you , he must have left by now.."
Shilpa sighed and shook her head.. "I really dont think he has left.."
"Wait a minute " Naina interrupted loudly.. "Why are you sounding so miserable, i thought you will be glad he isint here.. "
Exactly.. Shilpa thought miserably.. I should be glad he is gone.. " Forget Armaan Mallik. Today is the first day of my job and i need to be there on time.."
Naina gave a nod and then frowned.. "But what about the twins.. ?? Are you going to take them to day care.. "
" I dont find comfortable enough to keep them in day care.." Shilpa protested.. So i have asked Ms.Sharon to take care of them while i am gone.."
Shilpa arranged the pillows carefully near the two sleeping babies.. Staring down at them she caressed their cheeks and gave a light kiss on each's forehead.. " I will miss you guys, But i have got to earn some money to feed you.." She sighed getting up.. "Mommy loves you both.. "
"Ms. Sharon i really hope i am not disturbing your peace by bringing the twins here.. "Shilpa spoke hesitantly moving towards the old women who set in the rocking chair. The lady was strict but good at heart. And since she was her neighbor, she was the only person who would take good care of twins..
Sharon got up from the chair and scoffed.. "Shut up young lady. I love those two angels they will be very much safe with me... I assure you that.. Now get lost from here arent you getting late for the clinic.. "
Shilpa smiled hearing the motherly scolding she did everytime she saw her.. No matter how strict or rude she would act , Shilpa knew her children were safe with this golden heart lady..
He noticed her walking out the house and hid himself near the wall. So this was the house where she had left the babies.. Seeing her attire he assumed she was going for a job. And this was the perfect opportunity to start his plan without her knowledge.. With a devilish grin he walked towards the house whistling..
"Good morning Miss... " Armaan's voice faded off as he noticed the old women who opened the door glaring at him.. He took a step back and smiled nervously.. "Hello "
Sharon narrowed her eyes at him.. "Who the hell are you and what are you doing here.. "
His eyes grew wide as he heard her strict voice.. Ohh man Why did he have to confront this old women with foul language..
Hesitantly he told her about him.. She shook her head and tried to close the door on his face.. He protested trying to move inside.. "Is this the way you welcome your neighbors.. ?"
She passed a nasty glare trying to nudge the door close which he held firm..
"When did i want to welcome you even.. You are forcefully trying to welcome yourself inside.. "
"Exactlyyy " Armaan grinned and walked inside the house while she kept shouting throwing nasty curses.. The old bat.. He rolled his eyes and moved around the hourse trying to find where the babies were..
"I will call the police.. " She shrieked out loud as he got on the steps... "Come back here and get lost from my house!!! "
"Oh really " Armaan turned back rolling her eyes.. "If you call police i wont hesitate telling them about the broken fence on the yard , surely the neighborhood counselors might have told you to repair but you have left it as it is.. "
The old lady fumed at him but didint say a word.. Armaan grinned knowing that has really scared her.. Least she had any idea police doesnt take any action for a broken fence..
He opened the door of the bedroom and peeked inside slowly.. The sight infront of him made him quiver in nervousness and excitement.. On the bed lay the twins sleeping innocent.. He moved forward and set on the bed trying to get a closer look of twins. They just looked like him, he could figure that out as he had seen his own childhood pics. They were much chubbier which he had guessed. Grinning happily he caressed their soft cheeks which his knuckle... They were both identically similar.. As he stared down at them longer , his eyes grew misty. They were both his children.. My sons.. The pride grew in him realizing the truth.. Slowly he took one of them in his arms and hugged him close. The baby sank within his big arms and let out a soothing noise.. With the other hands he picked up the second one , same way hugging him close. Adjusting them safely on his both shoulders he rocked them softly humming.. A slight tear rolled from his cheek as he realized he was living the dream once he had seen. The dream of being with his kids. Holding them close in the security of his arms.. A dream which he had thought will never come true was now the reality.. Now i just have to take care of the mommy.. He decided as he got up from the bed heading to the door..
"WHATT !!! " Shilpa stood stunned as Sharon paced around the room in anger.. "How can you let some stranger take away my babies.. " Shilpa protested loudly as Sharon came forward.. "That man just came in and walked inside the house forcefully.. I even threatened him that i will call police.. But he said if i do he will complain about my broken fence.. "
Shilpa shook her head trying to keep herself calm. Who was the man, was he a kidnapper who had taken away her twins.. Fear kicked inside as she spoke desperately.. "But who was this man.. ?Do you have any idea.. "
"Ofcourse i know him, He told me himself.. " Sharon sit on her chair coolly.. "He is the new neighbor who have shifted to the house beside yours.. " As Shilpa tried to leave Sharon spoke loudly.. " And he claims he is the father of your babies.. !! ""Armaan Mallik " Shilpa hissed in anger as she made her way to the house beside hers. Standing there infront of the door, gritting her teeth she gave a loud knock.. Impatiently she started to pound on the door yelling... "Armaan Mallik open this door right now.. "
Slowly the door opened and Shilpa grew stunned as she stared at the man infront of her.. Armaan stood there wearing a faded jeans , his shirt openly showing his toned body..Grinning at her he winked with a sexy smile.. "Hey lady "
Shilpa stared at him surprised by his behavior. For a minute if she avoided looking at his face she may think this was some other man. What had happened to the Arrogant Armaan mallik who was always angry.. Shaking her head she tried to speak when he interrupted.. "Just because i am your neighbor, if you think you can come and ask favors from me then ur wrong sexy. Right now i am very busy So BYE ! "
She gasped as he closed the door right on her face.. Inside Armaan started to laugh recalling her stunned face.. He stared down at the twins who were busy playing with their new toys. They seemed happy and content which surely made him take a breath of relief.. Again the pounding started on the door followed by her shriek.. This time the twins stared up at him with a worried look.. " No worries kid. Its just your crazy mother on the door.. "
Again he went and opened the door, this time she tried to walk inside when he blocked her way.. "Ahhh not so fast love. First you have to seduce me to get inside my house.. "
Wrong dialogue.. He mused as she stared at him glaring in anger.. Gritting her teeth she tried to move past him.. "Give me back my kids.. "
Armaan frowned rubbing his neck.. "As i recall there are my kids too " Again he started to smile.. "Stop torturing your small mind, go back to your house i will bring them to you in 10 minutes.. "
With that he closed the door on her face once again.. Shilpa screamed out in frustration which only made him laugh harder.. Cursing him under her breath she stormed off back to her place in anger..
"Say GoodEvening MOM !!!" Her throat went dry as she opened the door and stared at the three of them infront of her..Uncertain emotions grew within her as she stared at them..
Armaan stood there with Arav on his hip , while he clung to him tight.. Aryan was sitting on his shoulder clapping on his head happily.. The scene made her feel nostalgic as she blinked her eyes trying to control her emotions..
"Give them to me.. " She bit out awkwardly.. But Armaan ignored her and walked inside the house studying the place.. "Nice house , its warm and cozy.. " He commented as Shilpa took Aryan from his shoulder who protested loudly.. Arav was now half asleep , while keeping his head on his father's chest.. It surprised Shilpa seeing Arav clinging to Armaan. Arav the self reserved boy who never went to any stranger.. He isint a stranger. Arav feels he is his father...
She came out of thoughts as Armaan took a crying Aryan from her rocking him softly.. She stood stunned as Aryan stopped crying at once clinging to him.. Armaan glanced at her and smirked.. "Feeling jealous Darling ??? "
"In your dreams " She muttered as she followed him inside the kitchen.. "What the hell are you doing ?? Get out of my house Armaan.. "
Armaan glanced at her with a bored look.."Seriously i thought there might have been a change in your attitude by now. But still same old shouting everytime. No wonder the kids hate you.. "
"They dont hate me.." She gaped at him... "They both love me and you are the one who is jealous about it.. "
"As if i care about it.. " He grinned searching around the cupboards.. "Where is the food you give to twins. They are hungry now. Arent you buddies.. " Aryan squealed out happily as Armaan caressed his cheeks.
Not able to bear anymore scene Shilpa took Aryan from his hands who started to protest again.. "I am going to feed them, you can leave now "
Shilpa took a breath of relief as Aryan finally fell alseep after taking his milk bottle... As she kept staring down at him she started to worry.. Armaan was back here , and living beside her as a neighbor. Unfortunately the twins were getting attached to him very easily. She couldnt stop it , being the father of her children she knew he had the right to come and meet them. But what about their own relationship. Will she be able to forget and let go whatever happened.. It wasnt easy she couldnt risk again depending on one person who could hurt her any second.. She had come so far by letting go of her past. And looking back to the past was now impossible for her.. Never..
Suddenly She realized he was still in the house. While she had taken Aryan with her she had forgotten Arav was with him.. Slowly she walked out of the room and went to the sitting room to see Arav who was sleeping on Armaan's lap while he stared down at her.. She stood there for a while watching them together.. Armaan glanced up and locked his gaze into her making her feel uncomfortable.. She glanced away and walked towards his stiffly.. "Give him to me. " The words came out more harsh than she had meant.. He just stared at her and then got up. With one more glance at the sleeping baby he gave her to him with a sigh..
"Whats there name ?? " He asked curiously staring down at Arav.. Shilpa hesitated to for while not willing to speak.. His expressions grew slightly pained.. "Come on i deserve to know that much.. "
"Aryan and Arav.. " She spoke hating the way he tried to make her feel guilty.. "This is Arav the silent one. Back there is Aryan "
" He is beautiful, both of them are " Armaan whispered silently caressing the cheek of Arav.. He glanced back at Shilpa and moved his hands on her cheeks touching them softly.. "Just like you.."
With a accusing glance at him she moved away from him , away from his reach. No she had already made a mistake of being close to him. Armaan mallik knew how to control her if she was under his spell. But she couldnt let it happen anymore. She had to avoid him as much she can, no matter how hard he tried to come closer..
"Just leave from here Armaan. We dont need you.. " Shilpa bit out angrily opening the door for him..
But i need you three.. More than you can imagine.. He stared at her for a while and moved to the door silently.. Before leaving he glanced at her , she noticed the earlier teasing look was back in his eyes.. "Not for long.. I will make sure i am needed badly. As i have no intention of leaving soon "
"One more thing " He spoke peeking inside the house. His grin grew wide seeing her glare at him...
"What " She almost shouted but then lowered her voice as Arav stirred in her arms..
"Both Aryan and Arav have got my looks. I guess you have noticed now. In Future Both of them are going to be proud of their father for their handsome looks. Although i dont know what they might feel about you.. "
"Just get lost Armaan mallik !! " He closed the door hearing her shouting. And then laughed knowing he had finally made her angry again... "This is just start Mrs.Mallik, wait for more to come ! "
