CHAPTER 18

"So what all are the plans for the night?" Rahul asked.

"Why are you so interested in knowing our plans?" Arnav asked irritated

"Actually I was thinking we could go out for dinner tonight"

"Dinner and that too out with you?"

"Yeah Arnav why not? Rahul is right, we can go out together" Khushi said and Arnav was annoyed.

Anjali had a little smirk on her face.

"Khushi but.."

"No Buts Arnav, we are going out and that is final"

"Ok bhai I'll be ready"

"Anji we are going out for dinner, you have got almost 4 hours left"

Anjali blushed on seeing Rahul smile at her.

Rahul left soon and Arnav was happy for that.

Arnav and Khushi were in their room.

"Arnav I've took out this for you to wear for dinner"

"What Khushi, you want me to wear this jeans and white tee?"

"Hello Mr. Husband we are going out for dinner not on some business meeting"

"Ok as you wish. BTW what are you planning to wear"

"Can't decide, I've got this white Anarkali and this baby pink one, I don't know"

"White"

"What?"

"Yeah I know my wife looks beautiful in white"

"OMG!!! Is he really acting? Or has he lost it? I think he is acting or else he is behaving as if he is perfectly fine"

"What did you say Khushi? Who is acting?"

"Nothing Arnav"

She was shocked that she had said that out loud.

Khushi and Arnav got ready and looked the perfect married couple.

"Arnav you are so handsome"

"I know, even you are beautiful"

"Thanks"

"BTW Khushi why don't you wear a saree?"

"Arnav you wanted me to wear a saree?"

"Yeah you would look prettier"

"You should have told me before, then I could have. Wait I'll change"

"No need to change Khushi. that was just a thought."

"Really?"

"Really, you can wear a saree some other time"

"Ok then I will wear a saree tomorrow"

"As you wish"

"Ok then let's go down now"

They came down. Anji was dressed in a light green Anarkali suit. Rahul was already there.

"Anji, Rahul lets go"

Arnav didn't like Anjali and Rahul's name together but did not say anything.

"Hey Khushi, what is this?"

"What?"

Rahul and Anjali where looking at her shocked.

"What happened Anji, tell something"

"Khushi where is your MS and Sindhoor"

"OMG, I forgot it again?"

"Forgot means?"

"Actually I take out the MS while I bathe, you know Anji how clumsy I'm I cant risk breaking it"

"And then you forget to put it back?"

"Yeah. Just a second, I'll be back"

Khushi went to her room, put the MS and filled her maang with sindhoor and was back within no time.

"Let's go"

Arnav was not at all interested but gave in when he saw Anjali and Khushi happy.

Arnav saw Anjali moving to the passenger seat.

"Anji why don't you sit with Khushi? I'll sit in front"

Rahul let out a small giggle and was unnoticed by Arnav. Khushi and Anjali just looked on.

The three sat.

"Rahul what are you waiting for? Do you need special request to get in and start the car?"

"Sorry, I'm coming"

He got in and drove to the best Indian restaurant for he knew the two girls in the car preferred Indian food.

"OMG Rahul thank you so much. I so wanted to come here because I love the food they serve"

"You are always welcome Madame"

Arnav did not like it a bit and that was visible from his expression. Khushi noticed that.

"Arnav why don't we get out?"

"Yeah"

Khushi went upto him and held his hand.

"Arnav I want to be with you"

"Khushi I'm always with you"

I know but now you are concentrating more on Rahul than on me"

"oh no Khushi there is nothing of that sort"

"Don't try to lie to me Arnav, I know you"

"Yeah I'm irritated with his behaviour"

"Arnav I know, but he is not as bad as you think, he is really nice"

"I know you both think so, but I can't accept that so easily"

"It's ok Arnav, but tonight I want you to leave all those thoughts and spend some time with me."

"I promise Khushi"

"ok then let's go."

They found Anjali and Rahul sitting at a table in the far corner of the room. Rahul had reserved that table on Anjali's insistence because he three of them used to sit there whenever they came here.

Anjali and Rahul were lost talking to each other.

"Rahul I never in my dreams thought that I would be in love with you"

"Anji I fell for you years ago"

"I can't believe it Rahul"

"You were right, but I would have fallen for Khushi , but back then I understood that they are in love, so I started considering you and you fitted perfectly in my life"

"Oh you are talking about the 14 year old me? and for your kind information Bhai was never in love with Khushi, it was she who loved him"

"No Anji you are wrong, Arnav loved Khushi and still loves Khushi"

"How can you tell that Rahul? And if bhai loved Khushi why would he have brought Lavanya to marry him?"

"I don't know all that Anji, but I had seen love for Khushi in the 19 year old Arnav's eyes back then and I'm sure about that"

"hey guys what is going on" Khushi asked as she and Arnav reached the table, interrupting their conversation
