Thank you for this conclusion. It's a huge relief. I agree people change and perspectives change.
But each person has a view point dude. For me, though many things changed on personal and even in my writing, the stories which I had read stayed with me; especially those which were left uncomplete haunted me.
For me, a writer has a responsibility towards his written work if not anything else. If we have given it a starting then we should give it a conclusion as well. At least like what you have done now. I'm sorry to hear you got to hear mean words. It just means people were hurt by your backing away.
And to an extent you do owe us readers an answer. Don't you think so? We are strangers to each other who might never meet in this life. Yet we supported encouraged and loved your work. A writer definitely knows the value of a reader. If they still taunted and haunted you even after 3 years, they were such loyal readers. Even they have personal life and lot has changed for them as well. Yet they came back for your story. That's a great achievement dude.
And to be honest, I do feel irritated with writers who leave their story incomplete. I agree its all about our personal priorities. But all who don't want to continue should give it an end like you did now. At least give pointers as to what you intended to do with this story and call it a conclusion. I wish you had done this 3 years ago.
But this message is not for blaming you or anything. Actually I'm grateful to you for doing this; even if it is after 3 years. Really, heart felt thank you on all your readers' behalf. We loved your story and always will. Thank you for coming back respecting our requests and giving it a proper conclusion.
And now as a fanatic reader lemme say something, I would miss your style of writing. Characters come alive on each chapter. All of a sudden I could see Kushi and Arnav coming alive once again in this chapter. I still wish you would continue it some day with full chapters. But yes that's just a wish and I know it won't be fulfilled. Hehe, you know, this one had haunted me so much that I had gone and wrote a storyline and conclusion for it on my own in my laptop and saved it imagining it to be your conclusion. It's different from yours of course.
