Chapter 2
Geet: Kyaaa (WHAT), is the only thing she can manage to say and after that she runs to the lift on her left and press the button. Just when she is about to smash the button the lift door opens.
For a second she is really happy and pushes everybody to the side to get in the lift but in the next second when the lift is closed she is like she has seen a ghost.
Riddihma: Pagal.. abhi waqt tha aise hi maine usko darra diya par agar nai karti to wo sach mein late ho jati. Iska hassna to band hua na.. (Stupid..she still had some time left. I scared her. I shouldnt do that but if I havent stop her from laughing she would surely be late.) She turns around and
...BANG... she collides in something hard.

Geet: Kha...Kha..Khadoos?,, mujhe pata tha ke kuch burra hone wala hai lekin itni jalti? Ab main kya karoon gi yeh to mujhe mar dega kyunki..,nai nai aisa kaise ho sakta hai? Khadoos yahan nai nai ye nai ho sakta hai,(Sul..sul..sulky..? I knew it that something bad is going to happen but so soon? What should I do know..No, no that cant be. How can be this sulky man here?) she begins to talk to herself.
Maan: Agar tumhari baatein khatam hogi ho to main aapko bata du ke main MAAN SINGH KHURANA aap ka boss aapke saamne khara hai aur ye tum baar baar Khadoos kisko ke rahi ho? (If you are done with your self talking Id like to say that I MAAN SINDH KHURANA your Boss is standing infront of you and who you were calling sulky man?)
Geet is totally shocked she understands nothing.
Geet: Aap sach mein mere saamne hai? Mera matlab hai ke kya main aapko chutki kaat sakti hun? (Are you really infront of me? I mean can I pinch you?)
Now its Maans turn to get shocked.
Maan: WHAT?

Riddhima fell down on the ground.
Riddihma: Ouch.Mera sarr.Yeh kya tha? (Ouch.My head.What was that?)
She looks up and is shocked to see that she didnt bump in something but in someone and this someone was no one else than her boss, Armaan.
She quickly gets up and adjusts her dress. But in her hurry she didnt see that he was offering her his hand to help her.
He clenched his fist and slowly withdraw his hand.
Riddihma: I..I.. Im So..Im Sorry Sir. Woh main dekh kar nahi chal rahi thi aur ghalti se.. (Im Sorry Sir.I wasnt looking where I was going and..), all the while she was looking down and then she looked up at him and suddenly fear raising in her bcoz she saw that he was really angry.
Armaan (thinking but looking at her): Iski itni himmat..Ye ladki ek to mujhse takrai upar se jab main iski madat kar raha tha isne wo bhi nai li. Meri, Armaan Mali, ki Ego hurt karni ki himmat kaisi hui is ladki ki. (How dare she? Firstly she bumped into me and when I was offering her help she didnt take it. How dare she to hurt my,Armaan Maliks,Ego?)
He was thinking but suddenly he heard her talking and waliking away then.
Riddihma: Sorry,Aage se aisi ghalti nai hogi..Excuse me, (Sorry, it wont happen again..Excuse me..) with that she walked away.
Armaan (to himself): What..Pehle to meri ego ko hurt kiya aur ab aisi ja rahi hai? (What..Firstly she hurt my ego and then she just walks away?)
She was really in fear bcoz Armaan wasnt saying anything and only looking at her but she knew he was really angry at her.
But before she could run away she felt somone was holding her.
Without turning her he said: You are late. For every minute you will be late you have to work one hour extra today. Got it?
When she didnt answer he tightend his grip on her wrist. She flinched and said in a shacky voice:
Ye..Yes Sir...
Armaan let het her go and turned to see her but she didnt looked back and ran as her life depends on it.
Armaan was getting more angry, bcoz she didnt turn to look at him. He took out his phone and dialed a number.
Armaan: Hi. Plz stop the lift at the 15th floor and dont let it go till I tell you, with that he disconnected the phone.
Now watch Ms.Gupta what will happen today, he says with a evil smile.

Maan: Geet yeh tum kya bole ja rahi ho? ( Geet what are you talking?)
Geet: Acha kya aap mujhe chutki kaat sakte hai? (Ok, can you pinch me plz?)
Maan: Kya (What)..Whatever with that he pinched her and Geet screamed.
Geet: Ouch..Aap ka dimaag.. (Are you...)
Maan: SHUT UP.. I hope ke tumhe ab yakeen hai ke main tumahare saamne karrah hun (Shut up..I hope that you now understood that I am standing infront of you.)
Anyways yeh tum bahar kya kar rahi thi? (Anyways what were you doing outside?)
Geet: Bahar..Wo main lift k...(Outside..I was waiting for the li..)
Maan: Lift ko todh rahi thi na (You were breaking the lift, right?)
Geet: Nai woh lift a nahi rahi to mujhe guss..gussa, (No, the lift wasnt coming so I got angr...) she mumbled the last words.
Maan: Ha aur tum aapne gusse ki wajah se office ki lift todh rahi thi..Kyunki aagar tum nai istamal kar sakti to aur koi bhi na kar sake hai na? (Yes and bcoz of your rage you were breaking the lift..Bcoz if you cant use the lift nobody else in the office should use the lift, right?)
Geet: Nai...Apko kisne kaha? (No..Who told you this?)
Maan: Shut up..tumhe to saza mille gi Geet. (Shut up Geet... Ill punish you.)
Geet: SAZA?? PAR KYUN??, (PUNISH??? BUT WHY??) she screamed.
Maan: CHIKHNA BAND KARO, (STOP SCREAMING.) He screamed.
Geet: Main kahan chikh rahi hun aap chikh rahe the, (Iam not screaming you are screaming.) she says like a child who is about to cry when someone yelled at him.
Maan: Geet main tumhe aakhri baar keh raha hun just shut up. (Im telling you for the last time Geet, just shut up.)
Maan stopped the lift at the 5th floor.
Geet: Arre aapne lift yaha kyun roki hai? Humme to 10th floor par jana hai na? (Why did you stop the lift here? We have to go to the 10th floor.)
Maan: Not we but you.
Geet: Matlab.(That means.)
Maan: Matlab ye ke main lift ke saat wapas jaunga aur tum upar jaogi..
(That means that I will go back down with lift and you will go to the office.)
Geet: Ha to phir main bhi aap ke saath jaungi na? (Then Ill also come with you?)
Maan: Nai pehle tum stairs ke saat uppar jaogi mere desk se aaj ki meeting ki files laogi phir stairs se waapis niche aogi. Samjhi tum?
(No, First youll go to my office and collect the files for days meetings and after that youll come back down. And youll use the stairs not the lift. Got it?)
Geet: Par.., Par itni saari siriya. (But...But there are so much stairs.)
Maan: Ill give you 10Min. and if you are late...Ill punish you got that.
Geet fumes in anger: Main lift ke saat jaungi. (Ill go by lift.)
Maan: Are 10Min too much. I think I should give you just 5Min.
Geet: Nai, Nai main siriyon se hi jaongi. (No, No Ill use the stairs,) with that she runs out of the lift and cursing him.
Maan smiles and goes back down...

Shilpa is waiting for the lift.
Shilpa: Yeh lift kyun nai arahi hai? Aagar main late ho gayi to? Plz God help me. I dont want to get punished by him, plz do something and help me. (Why is this lift not coming? What if the lift doesnt comes?)
She looks at her watch and is shocked.
Shilpa: OMG, mere paas sirf 10Min (OMG I just have 10Min..)
What should I do know? I cant just stand here.
Suddenly an idea comes in her mind:
I ll use the stairs.
Without thinking she runs to the stairs and starts to climb them.
Armaan was watching it from a far. First he was shocked that shell run to the stairs, bcoz he thought that hell stop the lift for atleast 5-10Min so that she has to work over with him for the next week. He hadnt thought that she would use the stairs. She had surely used all ways to stay away from him and to annoy him more and more. He wanted to stop her from climbing the stairs but his ego stoped him before that and he let her run.
Armaan (to himself): Riddihma you cant run away from me. To climb this stairs you will atleast need...Lets say your reminding time wont be enough, he says with a wide evile grin on his face.
