Part 22:
Khushi: Aashi is hungry?..(She asked in a childish voice)
Aashi: ummm.. mmm..
Khushi smiled and so did Arnav..
Arnav: I guess she wanna drink Milk Khushi.. Where's the bottle?
Khushi: I will get it..
She moved to the side table and got the milk bottle. She took Aashi in her laps, made her rest on her laps and put the nipple of the bottle in between Aashi's lips.. Aashi was drinking the milk and Arnav couldnt help but admire her mother who was busy holding the bottle and feeding her baby.. How can someone be so motherly to a child who is not her own.. Would even Aarti love Aashi like Khushi does? No.. Never.. It was 02:00am in the morning and she was awake only for Aashi.. She was such a caring mother.. Aashi filled her tummy and then crawled back to Arnav ...
Arnav: So.. When you hungry you need your Mumma and then you back to me.. Not fair Aashi..(He said pulling Aashi's cheeks and she gigled)
Khushi: Arnav.. Its late.. I think Aashi should sleep now..
Arnav: More than Aashi I think you need some sleep Khushi.. Get some rest I will make her sleep and move backhome..
Khushi: Do you even know she cant sleep like that on lap.. I need to take her in my arms every time and walk in the room to make her sleep..
Arnav: Really? Well then today her Paaapa will make her sleep that way..
He picked Aashi in his arms and then started walking slowly in the room patting her back lightly and Khushi kept on looking at him..
She didnt need to teach him anything .. He knew how to handle kids.. Which was good for her..She leaned on the bed and in no time
she dozed off to sleep.. Even AAshi slept in Arnav's arms.. He put her on bed beside Khushi.. Placed some pillows on the bed not letting her crawl to the bed edge incase she gets up again and then pulled a quilt on her and Khushi together..
He switched the lights off and then kissed Aashi's forehead..
Arnav: Good night Baby.. (He whispered to Aashi)
For sure he couldnt leave without wishing Khushi for sweet dreams.. He moved to her side and then pecked her cheek.. She moved a bit in her sleep feeling something.
Arnav: Good night Khushi..
He then opened the door and left the house in no time.. He came back to RM and then moved on his bed.. It was almost like a dream that he went to Gupta House, played with Aashi and teased her mother a bit.. And that peck was so damm tempting.. Wish if it would not have been just a peck but an actual kiss.. He closed his eyes and then slept..

Few days Passed Arnav and Khushi didnt meet.. Since Arnav left for his new Project meet in Bangkok and Khushi was busy in the Wedding Shopping with her Parents and ofcourse Aashi too...
Today was their engagement in Raizada Mansion.. The bride and her family had already come and were getting ready in the Guest room. Arnav was in his room..He was tossing around the room here and there.. Thats when his Dad came in..
Arnav's Dad: Arnav.. What is wrong with you.. You havent got ready yet.. Come on.. We will be late,..
Arnav: Dad.. I .. I am just..
Dad: Worried? Scared?
Arnav: Both..
He sat on the Recliner and then looked at his Dad.. Arnav's dad smiled..
DaD: I too had the same feeling Arnav when I was getting engaged to your mother.. It happens.. We need to be ready for the new responsibilities and I know you will surely fulfil all.
Arnav: Dad.. There is something I need to tell you.. I mean I dont know if I should be telling you this.. But I need an answer for that..
Dad: Go ahead Arnav.. Tell me whats bothering you so much..
Arnav : Dad.. She has put forward a condition before me.. The day she said she is ready to marry me.. And I know I want to do everything as per her wish but somwhere I am still drawn towards her and I doubt if I would ever help her fulfil that condition..
Dad: Condition? What is it? Tell me properly Arnav..
Arnav: Dad.. She wants Aashi to be our only Kid..
Arnav's dad was shocked..
DaD: Do you mean she doesnt trust you that you would be loving Aashi in the same way even after having your own kids?
Arnav: I dont know Dad.. May be she is still insecured..
Dad: And you agreed for that so easily? I mean this is not some simple Condition Arnav.. It means a lot..
Arnav: I know Dad but then I agreed since I wanted her and Aashi with me..
Dad: Well now since you have agreed, dont think more about it.. Just follow it.. Ok? I am sure one or the other day she would change her mind ..
Arnav smiled and then his Dad removed his Suit for the ceremony and left the room

Arnav came down and was talking to his relatives and Friends.. It was a very simple and private ceremony.. Not much guests were called.. Aashi was in Garima's arms and she was talking to some friends of hers. Thats when Khushi came down with Payal.. She wore a Red Saree and she looked very very pretty tonight. How was he suppose to control his desires seeing her becoming his from now on.. It was so difficult..
They saw each other after many days and all Khushi could do was breathe fast knowing what desires he had in his eyes..
He was mentally undressing her and she could very well guess that.. She tried to clutch her Saree Pallu and thats when Arnav's mother came to her..
Mom: Khushi.. You are looking gorgeous tonight.. (She kissed Khushi's forehead)
Khushi smiled and then moved with Arnav's mother as she started introducing her with their relatives..
Arnav was only following her everywhere she went .. Though he was far enough from her, his eyes only were fixed on her form..

Finally as per the Mahurat the couple was made to stand next to each other and then the rings were exchanged.. Akash whispered in Arnav's ears to kiss atleast Khushi's wrist after putting the ring but he knew she wouldnt like it. So he denied.. Khushi had heard
Akash saying this and she was totally nervous if he would do something like that.. But luckily he didnt do that.. Everyone started congratulating the couple and they smiled at everyone who came to them..
Aashi was in Anjali's arms now though Aashi was not at all liking her for her own reasons.. Anjali was trying her best to make her comfortable with her and keep her happy but it wasnt happening..
Anjali: Shyam.. She doesnt like me at all
Shyam: Its Ok Anjali.. She will in some time.. She has only felt Khushi's love till now.. So its not so easy to get her feel your love so soon.
Anjali smiled and thats when Khsuhi came to her.. Khushi pulled Aashi from Anjali's arms and thats when Aashi was finally Happy..
Khushi: She must be hungry.. I need to feed her.. Excuse me..
Khushi left the Living room of RM and moved towards the Guest room once again.. She met HP and gave HP Aashi's milk Bottle and asked him to pour some warm milk in it and get it in the Guest room.. HP agreed. She took Aashi in her arms and walked to the Guest room..
She came inside and made her rest on the Bed when the door knocked.. She had not closed the door from inside so she asked the person thinking it to be HP to come in..But it wasnt HP.. It was Arnav and that too with Aashi's milk bottle in his hands.. Khushi was little surprised seeing him here..
Khushi: You? I mean you should be down.. All must be wanting to meet you
Arnav: I am more needed here than there..
He came in and sat on the bed placing the bottle in Aashi's mouth..Aashi held the bottle on her own and started drinking..
Khushi was feeling something today.. She knew since the time she was dressed in this Saree he was getting dragged towards her like a MOTH to a FLAME.. She gulped in nervousness and moved towards the French Doors.. He placed some Pillows circling Aashi not to let her crawl down.. And then he moved towards her.. She knew he was coming.. But would she be able to stop him? May be not..
They were engaged.. And were getting married in few days.. She started breathing heavily and turned to see him.. Hopefully that would make him stop she thought.. But he didnt.. He kept on walking towards her and she started moving back..
