Okay, so here it is. I promised you guys that I'd update this one today. But trust me, I didnt want to. Somehow, I dont feel...motivated to write anymore. So this update is going to be shitty and I can understand the criticism. Anyhoo, here it is for you all:
An Indescribable Emotion Part 1:
1 month later;
"Relax Khush, everything will be fine" Shaina Malhotra drawled in her bored voice, staring at her own reflection in the mirror, although her eyes were trained at the hilarious picture staring back at her.
"Relax? How the hell do I relax Shai? Mera pehla job interview! And that too with AR! With Mr. Grumpy Raizada!" Khushi Kumari Gupta, female, aged 23 wailed. She was pacing up and down in the small kitchen with her hands folded as she muttered prayers to her favorite "Devi Maiyya".
"You dont know if he's grumpy Khushi" Shaina rolled her eyes.
"Sure" her friend allowed, only to refute it later with a taut mouth "but the press does. And I have an interview with him. Oh god. If Id known that he was the owner of AR Industries I would never have applied" she started once again, her ranting and raving bouncing off the laminated cabinets.
"Well, its not anyone's fault that you're a dimwit Khushi" Shaina told the ebony haired woman. "Honestly, you couldn't relate ASR to AR?"
"Its perfectly fine if I couldnt" Khushi snapped; her button nose scruncing up in irritation. "Hmm. True." her roomate replied, "its not like you read the newspaper anyway Khush"
Khushi snorted "Please, what you mean is that I dont read the Page 3 section. I actually read legit news."
Rather than take offence at her irritable manner, Shai laughed.
And thats why Khushi was happy to have a person like Shaina in her life. A person she could bank on, a person she could share her deepest desires with.
She sighed as she looked at Shai batting her lashes in the compact mirror. "What do you think Khush? Will I slay him? she asked her, twirling around in a little circle.
Khushi laughed loudly, once again thanking Devi Maiyya for giving her Shaina in her life.
"High and low baby. High and low."
A few hours earlier:
"Aman, the Khurana file. Where is it?"
Arnav Singh Raizada explained himself in a deceptively soft voice. And deceptive it was, for ASR was doing the two things he never did. One being that he was speaking in a forcefully calm tone, and the other was that Mr. ASR was actually clarifying.
And that meant trouble. Deep, dark trouble.
The two people that flanked his side were well aware of what this tone was a prelude of, and so they inconspicously moved away from the presently shaking man.
A second later, every single person present in the headquarters of AR Industries heard the thundering voice that resounded all over and around the glass paneled office.
Employees glanced at each other fearfully, dreading the wrath of their apparently very, very angry boss. Everyone froze as they heard Mr. ASR lose his cool at his always efficient Assistant, the slamming door a confirmation of their wide-eyed horror.
Arnav Singh Raizada had just fired his always there, everytime Assistant of the past two years.
For all of the people who worked at AR, this was indeed a detereoration. Aman Mathur had been known as someone wise, someone who could do the impossible.
He kept the volatile boss in check.
Once again, the employees looked upon in dread as the ex-PA walked out of the door with his head held high.
Everyone who was standing to witness this terrifying situation could only percieve one thing;
Hell was just about to break loose.
Meh? Oh well. Its short.
But I'm updating this tomorrow. I have a feeling I'll be concentrating more on AIE, rather than AHJ.
Anyway, comment and tell me what you think. Love you all.
Cheers, Avi.
