"Beginnings are usually scary
And endings are usually sad
But it's everything in between that
Makes it all worth living..."
It was a sleepless night for him. The only light on that lane was the moonlight. The only sound he could hear was of owls. He found it harder to put forth each step and walk as his heart was feeling heavier. His eyes had swelled because of crying. He hated it. He hated to cry. He consoled himself by saying he is not that weak to cry for a girl. But his tears were adamant, just like him. The girl he loved with his heart was being someone else's tomorrow. And he couldn't do a thing. He had family, a lovely one. But still he was the most loneliest man in the world. His compassion had eroded due to his heart's suffering. He could hear nothing, he could feel nothing. He just wanted her...
~~~~~~ Flashback ~~~~~~
"How can you get married tomorrow! I know I am in a mess! But this is the time I need you the most. And you are leaving me?"
"Arnav, I need a man who can support me. But you have lost everything. And even if I decide to stay with you, my parents will never let me do that"
"But ...
"No buts Arnav. I am sorry. I can't stay with you. I just came to tell you that tomorrow is my engagement"
~~~~~~~~End Of flashback~~~~~~~
He crushed the invitation card in his hands. A tear dropped down his cheek. He couldn't have ever imagined that the girl he loved was with him just for security and future. He knew he had nothing now. NOTHING. But he expected her to stay with him during this tough time of his life. But she was not there.
Arnav Singh Raizada had died from inside.
Suddenly he heard footsteps, quick footsteps, the sound of anklets, the sound of someone running. He heard the screams come up. Louder now. But he didn't care to look behind. The screams came up again.
"Excuse ME!!! Hellooo!! Excuse Me!!", he heard a female voice, panting.
He turned around. He saw a shadow running towards him. Her anklets were tingling in a rythym. As she came closer to him, running frantically, he saw her face. His senses had died but he could see that she was panicking. Her hair was flying because of her running. He expected the girl to stop in front of him and explain why she was calling him, not that he cared. But to his utmost astonishment, the girl took a fly into his arms, grabbing him towards her as she hugged him tightly as if there was no tomorrow. He was taken aback. Her hangs gripped his shirt, while he stood there shocked.
When he got back to his senses, the only thing he could say was, "What the..!"
There was no response from the girl. He could feel her heavy breaths on his shoulder as she caught her breath, resting her head on his shoulder.
He tilted his head slightly to see her face. But he was blinded by the lights flashing on his face. Annoyed, he looked in front of him. A biker was screeching towards them. He was not wearing his helmet, so Arnav could clearly see his face. His expression changed from passion to dissapointment. The biker slowed down as he neared the embracing duo and gritted his teeth.
"Thank god, I found you!",Arnav heard the girl say, loud enough for the biker to hear.
Arnav still stood there, confused.
"What the hell is going on?",he said, annoyed.
"Shut up! And hug me back", the girl whispered.
"What?",Arnav said flabbergasted. He wanted to push her back. Just when he was about to do that, he saw the biker taking a U- turn and leaving.
The girl gently tilted her head to see if that man had gone. She heaved a huge sigh of relief and straightened up. She then looked in front of her and met his questioning eyes.
"Who the hell.are you?",he asked, bewildered.
The girl smiled.
"Hi! I am not hell! I am Khushi.. Khushi Gupta and you?",she said, extending her hand.
