Part 27:

Arnav: What do you mean by till when? Forever..

Anjali: But then for that you need to get her legally in this house.. So that she wont be staying away from you anytime after that..

Arnav: You mean getting married?

Anjali: Right..

Arnav thought for a while.. He never believed in mariages.. But if that could make her stay with him forever then he wont be denying..

Arnav: Ok.. Then we will go tomorrow to Gupta House with the Proposal.. Lets get this marriage thing done in a week..

Anjali couldnt believe he agreed so soon. She hugged him and then left the room to tell this to everyone..

It was late evening when Khushi was taking off the clothes that she hung for drying in the corridor. She saw 2 vehicles getting parked in front of her door and she knew they were no one else but the Raizada's.. She was totally shocked.. Why were they here? And what would she say to her parents .. She immediately rushed inside the house and told Buaji that the Raizada's were out.. Buaji was also a bit shocked.. She still asked Khushi to be inside and that she would check. She came out to greet them.

Buaji: Ohh!! I cannot believe you all are here.

Anjali: Buaji.. We are here on some special reasons..

Buaji: Please come in..

Buaji welcomed everyone inside.. Khushi came out and as Buaji herself was not yet introduced to anyone from the Family, Khushi did it for her.. She made Buaji introduced to everyone.. Anjali, Nani, Shyam, Payal, Akash, Nani, Mama, Maami but Arnav wasnt there inside.. Khushi's parents came out and they too met all. Khushi told them the place where she works, they are the ones..

Anjali: Khushi.. You work for CHotte sometimes does not mean you give such an introduction of ours to your parents.. Aunty..(She looked at Garima).. I will tell you.. You must be knowing your Khushi and mY brother Arnav are in Love.. We are Arnav's family..

Garima and Shashi looked at Khushi. And seeing her flushed face they felt its true.. Their daughter hided such a big fact from them.. But they were happy meeting the Raizadas.. Khushi was quiet.. Anjali could read her eyes..

Anjali: Khushi.. Just check if Arnav finished his Call..

Khushi: What? You mean he too is here?

Anjali: Hmm.. He is out ..

Garima and Shashi were the most confused souls out of all. They didnt understand anything what was happening.. Even Buaji was a bit shocked..

Khushi came out and saw Arnav talking on the Phone.. He was in his formal White shirt and Black Trousser.. No tie, his Waist coat on him and his Suit in his hand.. He saw her and couldnt just take his eyes off her.. She was wearing a Yellow Orange Chudidar. (The one she wore when she kissed Arnav first time during Payal's Haldi). Arnav knew he couldnt concentrate any longer.. He kept the call and he came towards her.,.

Khushi: Arnav.. What are you all doing here?

Arnav: Shhh!! (He kept his fingers on her lips to shut her mouth,,)

She waved his hand off her lips..

Khushi: Dont do anything like this here.. I mean dont touch me.. My parents are in.. What if they see us like this?

Arnav was furious.. She was stopping him to touch her? Thats impossble.. He slid his hand on her waist and pulled her close..

Arnav: Thank to your Devi maiyaa that I used my fingers to shut your mouth.. Not my lips..

Khushi started struggling.. She was afraid of being caught ..

Khushi: Arnav.. Leave me..

Buaji gave a voice to Khushi from inside and he left her...

Khushi: Coming Buaji...

She said that and left inside.. Arnav followed her.

Anjali: Aunty, he is Arnav , my brother..

Arnav looked at Khushi's parents and smiled.. They too smiled.. They liked the guy. He was so gentleman. But how could a rich guy like him fall for their daughter.. They didnt know that yet..

Garima: Khushi.. You never told us anything about him?

Khushi: Maa.. I .. Thought of telling you.. But..

Buaji: But what... SHe was scared Garima.. And you know very well she is so shy and naive.. How could she tell this to you..

Anjali: Aunty.. Forget what she told and what she hided.. The main thing for which we are here is important..

Shashi: Ohh Yes.. But what is that?

Nani: We are here today with the Marriage Proposal of our Son Arnav for Khushi.

Arnav looked at Khushi to see her expressions.. She had her mouth opened wide with an "O" expression.. He knew this looked so much unbelievable.. She looked at Arnav first all surprisingly..

Buaji and Khushi's parents too were not understanding if this was a joke or a reality,, Anjali got up and hugged Khushi and Khushi was still all blank.

Anjali: So my Khushi Bhabhi.. Finally my Chotte has agreed to get married to you soon. And that soon means next week. He cannot stay away from you more than that.. (She smiled and teased Khushi by pulling her cheeks)

Khushi: What? Marriage? And he said YES?

Anjali: Hmm.. Why are you so shocked?

Arnav: Di.. She is just not able to accept the fact.. Lets not waste time in her.. Lets get to the point..

Arnav then turned towards Khushi's parents and replied..

Arnav: I want the marriage to happen next week which means still 7 days for preperation. The engagement would be today.. Which means now.. And all the celeberations, rituals will be happening in Raizada Mansion under the guidance of Nani and DI.. We need nothing from the your end except your daughter.

Nani and Anjali were very proud of how Arnav took things further from here and made the Gupta family know that their status or class was not important for him.. What he needed was only Khushi..

Shashi: But Beta.. This is all so soon.. I mean we need to make sure everything goes smoothly..

Arnav: NO need to worry on that.. The Raizadas will take care of everything.. You just need to attend your daughters marriage.. Nothing else..

Shashi: If our daughter already has chosen you for getting married.. we have no objections to it.. Infact we feel lucky to get people like you for Khushi..

Khushi was still in a state of shock.. Nani came forward and made Khushi sit next to Arnav. She was hesitating a bit but she couldnt avoid as every damm eye was on them.

Nani then gave her a Red Saree with some matching Jewellery . Anjali then applied a small red kumkum on her forhead and then on Arnav's forehead too fixing this marriage..She then gave a Ring to Arnav asking him to make her wear it.. He smiled and turned towards her..

She was still not believing she was getting engaged to him.. She moved her left hand forward and he held it and made her wear the ring in her finger.. Then Anjali gave Khushi a Ring and Khushi made him wear it.. All were clapping and everyone started feeding sweets to each other. Anjali came to Arnav and gave him a Ladoo (Sugarfree). She asked him to feed to Khushi first.. Anjali left from there with the others leaving them in the room alone..

Arnav brought the Ladoo all lovingly to her lips but she looked the other way. He again tried to get the ladoo towards her lips when she again tried to look somewhere else.. This was enough for him to lose his mind on her..He held her jaw and made her look at him. He then forcefully made her open her mouth and have one bite of that Ladoo and she couldny deny. She wanted to talk to him but then the others came back in the room..

Arnav: So Miss Khushi Kumari Gupta.. We are now engaged.. And getting married next week.. Hope you now try to realize what should be your role and responsibilites towards me.. Because this time after getting legally connected to you, I cannot tolerate you ignoring me .. Understood?

Khushi got up from the Couch and then took the blessings of the elders not replying him anything.. She knew this was not the right time to talk to him.. She would do that later..
