Oki that done, I just need to say because you guys love me soo much I am updating the 2nd chapter rite now was initially gonna update later after I had replyed to each and every comment left by you all, but rite now i do not have enough time to go through all the comments and reply to them, so am only uploading the next chapter...but do not worry as I promised I will reply to every comment, probably later tonight or tommorrow...

Chapter Two:

'Khushi?! Khushi?! Khushi, did you hear me?'

After what seemed like an eternity, khushi exhaled and opened her large, caramel-brown almond eyes. They focused in on the worried but undecipherable chocolate-brown eyes. And managed to choke out the words...

'You're...not...you're not...going to...di...divorce me.' A tear left her cream caramel eyes and trickled down her cheek. Singeing Arnav's heart.

He loosened his grip on her, but his eyes never left hers'.

'No. I am not going to divorce you.'

Another tear drop. Another stab to Arnav's heart.

'The six month condition is off. You will remain my wife. Arnav Singh Raizada's wife. For the rest of my life.'

Many more tears escaped Khushi's large caramel eyes, as a soft sweet smile began playing across Khushi's lips. Many more blows to Arnav's already deteriorating heart. It seemed as though his heart was only staying put in its' place inside his rib-cage due to the pain that pierced his heart like shards of glass at different points in his heart. Each individual pain, like a shard of glass piercing and pinning his heart to his chest.

She began...

'Arnav ji...'

'Sshhh...not a word, Khushi. Not a word. I do not want to hear any more. My heart cannot hear any more. Please, if not for the sake of my heart, or my peace, than for the sake of your love, don't say any more on this topic. Because I swear...I swear on my Di I will make him suffer if you open your mouth and begin with your false stories again! I spared him for the now, only and only for my Di's sake, but don't...I repeat DO NOT PROVOKE ME KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA TO DO WHAT I DESPARATELY DESIRE TO BUT RESTRAIN EACH FIBRE IN MY BODY TO DO BECAUSE OF THE PERSON WHO LIES UNCONSCIOUS DOWNSTAIRS. THE PERSON FOR WHOM I COULD SET THIS WHOLE WORLD ON FIRE IF SHE DESIRED IT.'

The half formed smile froze on Khushi's face, as the horror of his words began to sink in... if not for the sake of my heart, or my peace, than for the sake of your love, don't say any more on this topic. Stories...false stories...false stories...He did not believe her. He had never believed. She had fooled herself for believing that he had. That he finally understood. Understood everything that had happened. Understood her. But no...he didn't.

As the ghost of her smile faded into oblivion, terror began to grip a stupefied khushi, as he continued on his rant.

'Do not think even for a second I fell for what happened downstairs. You, Shyam, and your elaborately fabricated story of the victim. You both forget I was there that night. The night of Akash's wedding and heard all that happened between you two disgraced lovers on the terrace. That sight is burned in my mind and nothing either one of you say can ever make me forget it. So Khushi Kumari Gupta...ops correction Khushi Kumari Gupta-Singh Raizada, for that is who you are now and shall forever be. You are my prisoner for the remainder of your miserable life, and be sure I will make it miserable!'

As Arnav spat out the last, he pushed Khushi away. Turning his back on her in disgust. Khushi staggered back, desperately trying to get grip not only on her but on reality. What was happening how had this day turned out to be so hellish.

As her head span, a broken Khushi managed to muster up enough courage and voiced the question which she knew was pointless to ask, 'Why? Why are you doing this?'

'Why?!! You're really asking me that question?!!!' spat out an infuriated Arnav.

'I'll tell you why...because you had the nerve to hurt my DI today. I warned you! And your good-for-nothing D**k of a lover that keep my Di out of your dirty little affiliation! I had promised you hadn't I that I would release you from this marriage after six months, and then you would be free. Free to indulge yourself in many more adulterous affairs. All you had to do was keep your head down, pretend to be my wife for six months, until Di and her child were in the clear and then you would be free. I gave you the luxury of being Mrs Arnav Singh Raizada, a place girls like you couldn't not even dare to dream of for you would not be able to afford such an elaborate dream. But no, you couldn't hold it together for six months. You got into a stupid lovers spat and my Di and her child is having to pay the price for it. They are safe for now but are on a dangerously slippery slope. My Di's life is in danger because of you! So if you think for a second that I will spare you, you are very much mistaken.'

He had come dangerously close to her during this speech again. And now stood millimetres away from her face as he whispered in a deathly voice,

'You are going to pay Khushi. I will make you pay for every tear my Di sheds because of you.'

Oki so I completely understand you all wanting to throw chappal, jothey, tamatars and what not at me...so do throw them n i will glady accept them...but before you start showering me with them, or after you have showered your share of them on me please hear me out...😛

so yes as you have read chap 2, you know i have bowled a yorker and made Arnav go all split-personality again...but believe you me I have a reason for it, its not that Im sadistic and like making khushi suffer (or may be i am just a lil bit 😆) but no i have a reason for going down this track which the story itself will reveal as it progresses and I too at the end will state my reasons for choosing to go this way with my SS...

But cuz you have been so sweet and extremely generous with all you comments I will give you a heads up...that all will be well so just trust me, and bare with me, I have a roller-coaster ride planned out for all you, so it will be thrilling but should give you great pleasure in the end...

O and remember the night is darkest before the first rays of dawn illuminates the sky, so yes Im headed towards the dark for the moment, but as you know after intense darkness comes immense light...😊
