Part 7 - A Small Misunderstanding
Khushi and Lavanya were lazing around in their dorm on a Sunday. Khushi was busy browsing away on her laptops preparing herself for the upcoming design competition. Lavanya was busy chatting away with her random friends on facebook'.Suddenly she started squealing in excitement to Khushi's horror'.as poor Kitty was not aware of what had come over her friend'.Her unintelligible screams of something like "He accepted" "He finally accepted" were not of much use too' Khushi literally had to pull her by her shoulders to make her stop jumping and let her know the supposed reason of her enchanting excitement.
"Kittyyy, He finally accepted my friends request"'..came Lavanya's yet another squeal making Khushi get a slight hint of what was the whole thing about. Khushi had known about Lavanya's crush on one senior named Raghav and how Lavanya had been dying to be introduced to him. The way Lavanya was reacting over her request getting accepted Khushi was sure that it was him that her friend was so dazed about'.!!
"Ok Ok'Lavanya'..mein samajh gayi'Raghav accepted your friend request and he is your friend now right'ab kudna band kar aur mujhe dekhne de use'"'Khushi tried to get her hyper friend back to earth. Lavanya quickly gathered near her laptop and showed Raghav's profile picture to Khushi'Raghav sure looked a charmer in the picture' Lavanya had started blushing while looking at his picture''Khushi looked at her and thought of taking her trip for a while'
"Jiji'Jaldi yahaan aayiye'.Lavanya ne hamare liye Jiju dhoond liye!!..." Khushi screamed on the top of her voice making Payal shudder in fear for a second'.the moment she made sense of Khushi's words she started laughing loudly while entering the living area of the dorm where Lavanya and Khushi were seated on the floor'.
"Toh iss baar kaun hai who lucky insaan??" Payal spoke admist her uncontrollable guffaws'.Khushi joined Payal in her laughing escapade'Lavanya was famous for her ever changing crushes'.She had been blabbering about all her link ups and break ups to Payal and Khushi right from the day she had entered the dorm as their room mate'.Well Lavanya wasn't a flirt'She hadn't been into any serious relation till today but then her crushes has always been the most temporary thing on this earth'..But as far as Khushi knew Raghav was the first one in Lavanya's list to cross "days"'.he had literally made it to 2 months in being her crush now'.LUCKY GUY!! Khushi thought before replying to Payal with her ever famous wit'. " Jiji'.yeh waale sach mein lucky hain'.2 mahine tak tik paaye hain!!"'..
Lavanya had had enough of the teasing now'.She got up threw her best scowl at Khushi n Payal and went to her room to sulk till the sisters make it up to her'..!! Hummmpphhh!!! How dare Kitty and Jiji make fun of my feelings for Raghav'.How dare they tease me about it'No I wont talk to them till they say sorry!! On yes I want them to say sorry to me!!!
The three musketeers had gone for a calming walk in the campuses park in the evening when Raghav noticed his angel trying to coax her friend into talking to her'her melodious voice was reaching upto his ears pleading her friend to forgive her!! Oh how he loved her!! Yes!! He was in love with Khushi right from the first day when he had seen her enter the campus along with Payal'.He knew Payal as she was Aakash's friend '..But the girl who entered with her had already taken his fancy right at the first sight'.Her mischief filled eyes'.ever chattering lips and the serene face had made him fall in love with her at the first sight'.Someone who knew Raghav would have laughed his ass out if they found out about his romantic side'.But something in this girl did attract him to no point of return'.he felt as if she was his salvation a moment of relief from the ever haunting shadows of pain and agony'.!!
Arnav saw Khushi animatedly trying to make Lavanya talk to her'.he was sure they had a cute fight and Kitty'.His Kitty was trying to make up to her friend in her own most plausibly over the top way'.She was almost on her knees pleading Lavanya to talk to her as if she was proposing her for marriage and Payal was standing little away stifling a smile at her sister's antics'.She was cute'.super cute actually'he heart took a leap when he saw her , his heart literally commanding him to go and grab her away in his arms and spend some time with her away from all the chatter around'.It took all the credits of being Arnav Singh Raizada for him to control himself'..he was supposed to know her more before taking this relationship further'.!!! Wait'Relationship??...Are they in any sort of a relationship?? Gawwddd?? When will his brain stop asking him such stupid questions!!! He walked away along with Raghav and Aakash thinking of how to start a conversation with her'.!!!
Khushi suddenly paused she could feel his eyes on her'.she recognized the scorching gaze'.she stiffened for a moment and turned around just to see him break the glare and move away with his friends'.She felt at a tug at her heart for not being able to look into his ever inviting eyes'.She kept staring at the empty space which had his presence just seconds ago'but failed to notice another chocolate brown pair of eyes staring right back at her with nothing other than love donning them!!!!
Payal had seen the guy this time'.It was Raghav'Wasn't he the one who Lavanya claims to have a crush upon'..N Khushi has been already kissed by the boy'then why didn't she react when Lavanya was dancing all over responding to his acceptance of her friend request'.?? It was a big muddle she thought'may be Khushi and Raghav want to keep mum about themselves'May be Khushi only told Raghav to be friends with Lavanya to make her happy'.and having a crush on someone surely won't affect a real affair'N Lavanya's crushes were so damn temporary'.Khushi must be rest assured that her guy stays with her forever''Not a bad choice Khushi'Not bad at all'..!! Now I just have to wait for the time you tell me about it by yourself'!!!! So'.Raghav it is!!!
Lavanya had forgiven Khushi and Payal by now and they all decided to go to the market for a chat treat'.No points for guessing that it was Khushi's idea!!! Arnav had seen them leave towards the market and decided to follow them'He tagged Aakash and Raghav along with him under the pretext of eating ice cream'!! He just wanted to talk to Khushi that's all what he wanted to do!!
Payal saw Aakash, Raghav and Arnav at the ice cream stall just opposite to their chat thela'.she greeted all three of them with a very audible "Hi" and Lavanya joined her chirpily'.what was not noticed by these 2 was the bewildered look on Khushi's face when she saw Arnav along with his brother and his friend approaching towards them. She had never met him this way anytime in the past two months even though her sister was his brothers very good friend'.She had dreaded this day'but now it had come'and it had come after she had experienced a very sensual encounter with the reason of her dread!!!
Payal had decided to play along a bit to tease Khushi with Raghav around'and the look on Khushi's face when the guys marched towards them confirmed her that her sister was dreading the things to come'.hoping that she would burst the bubble she started with the introductions'!!!
"Hi Aakash'Hi Arnav'Hi Raghav'Baarish ke mausam mein ice cream!! Dimaag toh theek hai na"'
"Who Payal'.Woh Bhai'.wohi hame'.leke aaye!!"'Aakash tried to answer when Arnav quipped in'
"Payal'Baarish mein ice cream khaane ka maza hi kuch aur hai'.tum try karke kyun nahi dekhti!!"
"Tum toh bilkul Kitty ki tarah baat kar rahe ho, Arnav"'..Lavanya suddenly spoke nudging Khushi with her elbow.
"Are haan Lavanya'Sahi keh rahi ho'waise Raghav'yeh hai Lavanya hamari room mate'Aakash aur Arnav toh ise already jaante hain'.and she is my sister K'..!!"
"Kitty'..She is Kitty!!" Lavanya comically interrupted making both Payal and Khushi roll their eyes. Arnav put forward his hand as if he was waiting just for this moment.
Raghav was more than elated to see Khushi with Payal at the chat stall'..her eyes were tinkling wth laughter while she devoured every golgappa as if it was last bit of food she was ever having'.He felt like striding towards her and capturing that ever luscious pink lips in a kiss that she will never forget and that will make her his forever!!! But he knew he had to wait'this had to wait'..till she knew about his feelings'till she accepted him in her life like how he wanted her to!!!...That was when he saw Payal gesturing them to join the girls with their ice creams'..He felt like hugging Payal for creating this opportunity to be introduced to Khushi finally'..!!
"Hi'Kitty! Nice to meet u!!!"''Khushi with a lot of effort put forward her hand for the cordial handshake'dreading the moment of the touch as after that she very well knew that the handshake won't be cordial anymore'..And she was right'.sparks flew all over around her head'.atleast mentally'.she felt as if the skin of her palm was burning as his touch'.Her eyes shot up to look at his and found a similar shocked expression over there too''It was crystal clear that their attraction towards each other was too much'.they were just combustible together'..But the fear was lying there'just there'..!!!
What if it was mere attraction??...

With this post I become a GOLDIE!!!!...Hope u all have liked the chapter guys...sort of a filler...but important for my story to go on...!! I just hope it hasnt turned out to be tooo crappy!!!
