PLEASE PLEASE tell me if you want a PM, lots of D3 forum members are adding me as buddies, but i dont know if its cause you want an update PM or not b/c i havent seen you comment saying so. The PM list is on the first page!
Kria's Mom is modern, but not dress wise. The reason why Kria wears salwars is to forget her dance life. Her mom is adjusted to wearing kurtas and all, and the neighborhood that they live in Dehradun is very simple, so Kria adapted to wearing salwars when she went back to Dehradun. When she returns to St Louis, she is still in salwars, symbolizing that her stay in St Louis is temporary.
I write in riddles. Pay attention to phrases and sentences that are bolded, underlined, and italicized. Those give clues to future chapters!

Its a very short update, but i wrote this while on vacation. I feel like the length for the chapter is perfect for some reason, ill post a longer update when needed (:

Chapter 5:

That night:

Kria changed into her pjs, tying her hair in a ponytail and laid on her bed. She took out her laptop and went through the pictures she had saved on her folder. <reference to scene where kria looks at her and Rey's picture on her lappy>. She went through all her pictures she saved of Rey, and both of them. So many things had changed in a matter of a few months, yet so many things didn't. She wished she could muster up the courage to face Rey and tell him everything but she was too scared. She was scared he'd be even more angered, scared she'd lose him forever, despite being separated.

Ever since Kria had left, whenever Rey became frustrated, angry, worries, or just heavily reminded of her, he'd take a walk along side Kria's apartment. He'd stop outside the window of Kria's room and hoped one day the lights would be on, that one day she'd be back. Tonight, Rey took a walk beside Kria's apartment. He stood outside of her window and to his surprise the lights were on. He knew she was back of course, but he didn't think she'd come back to the same apartment, he thought maybe she'd want to be away from everyone's surroundings. Rey inched forward to Kria's window, trying to listen to see if it really was Kria in the room he'd seen the lights off for seven months. The more he went closer the clearer the sniffling in the room became. He decided to climb the pipes and stand on the window sill.

Kria slowly touched Rey's face on her laptop screen. She remembered how understanding Rey was, how much he cared. Internally, Kria kept on punishing herself as to why she did what she did to him. Kria's hands rested on Rey's lower lips in the picture. That smile. She remembered that night and how that very smile vanished from his angel-like face and most probabaly from her life too. A tear rolled down her face. How could i be so mean?

Rey watched all this from the window. He wanted to jump into the room and comfort his princess. He was just about to, when he stopped. The same last few words from that night rang in his ears. Now, tears filled his eyes. He was angry, his emotions were getting the best of him. He wanted to comfort Kria, but he was jusr as heartbroken. He quickly jumpes off with a thud and ran away from Kria's apartment.

Kria heard the thud, and quickly got up. She checked her window as she figured that was where the sound was coming from. She breathed in a strong scent. She looked down and thought she saw a manly figure run by. She knew that scent though, she knew exactly what that scent was, and who it came from.

The next morning, the schedule at St Louis consisted of all dance rehearsals. RDX sir decided to give one day of the week fully to practicing for Footloose.

Kria walked in to the college in an indigo colored salwar, her hair let loose. The college was empty. She walked in and out of classrooms and they only consisted of chairs and desks. Kria decided to walk into the dance rehearsal hall and found everyone practicing. She saw Rey in a corner teaching some other people; he was in a white tank and black cargos. Thesight of his muscles flexing made Kria weak so she quickly looked away and found a place to sit. It seemed as if everyone was practicing together, like there were no groups, no weaklings or dazzlers. Kria still sat and watched. In a little bit Swayam came over and sat next to Kria.

He whispered to her, "we all decided to dance as a team. But there's captains, i, Sharon ... Rey ... and you." Swayam gave a weak smile and Kria still looked tensed.

Swayam placed his hands on hers as if he was reassuring Kria that everything will work out and that she doesnt need to worry. From the distance Rey saw Swayam putting his hand on Kria's and Kria's little smile at Swayam. His veibs were about to pop out of his skin his temerature boiling . He let go of his dancing prop with a loud thud and left the hall. The room fell to silence for a few and then everyone resumed practicing. Kria decided to get up and help around and learn as well.

Sharon entered the room with a paper and began reading the line ups.

"Okay guys, there will be three main performances from the captains okay, and two group performances, one half of you all will do one group performance and the other half will do the second group performance. Our competiting team have already placed line ups, so guys we must give our best and ONLY our best, am i clear? Good."

Everyone once again resumed practicing after Sharon's mini speech. Sharon went over to Swayam and the gang. Kria stood near.

"Okay, so out of us four, we will have to do the three main dances. I guess one dance will be all four, and the other two would be .. couple dances?"

Swayam whispered into Sharon's ears, "any dance with you is fine with me any day" Sharon inched away and shoved Swayam lightly, blushing. "uh... anyways... uhm, yeah, so Swayam and ... i will do the second ... and Rey and... Kria will do the third..." Kria looked with wide eyes, a couple dance? That too with Rey?

Taani stood with the group as well, her anger reaching her face. Her fists were clenched into big balls. Taani was again, dressed like Kria. (She wore the white dress with blue flowers Kria wore during Haye Rama sequence). She stomped out of the room, and started to scream.
"Rey and Kria. Kria and Rey. Rey this. Kria that. Kria Kria Kria !! Ufff. Whyy! Who asked her to come back! She's again taking my place! I was going to do the couple dance with rey but noo!" taani didnt realize the side of her dress had ripped when she stormed out of the rehearsal hall. "Isse abhi hona tha kya? Ugh, why do i even wear these dresses? It doesnt even effect Rey!"

Kria walked out of the hall to see if she could somehow talk or comfort Taani maybe.

Taani sat down and tried to see how she could cover up the rip. "Ugh Taani, you cant even stay in these clothes properly! This isnt you!" Taani fumbled with her dress. Rey was walking back to the rehearsal hall. He realized his exit like that was pretty unneccesary. Midway he came across Taani and also saw that Kria was standing somewhat close by. Rey bent down to Taani, and tied his sweatshirt around her waist. He looked at Kria the whole while.

Rey started to talk to Taani slowly and intellectually, still looking at Kria. "You know, its been said a person a must be true to others as well as themselves. I dont know why you dress like this. I know it's not you. Who are you trying to please by dressing as someone who isnt even you? Tum sirf aur logon ko dhoka nahi but apne aap ko bhi dera hi ho. If you want acceptance, if you want a place, you need your own identity..." Rey stopped midway and started to walk away from Taani as he gave a weak smile.

He continued walking till he reached kria, who was sort of hiding behind a pillar.

"Even if you look breathtaking in an attire that isnt yours ... it isnt you..." Rey's eyes pierced into Kria's and he left. Kria stood for a bit, clutching her dupatta.

Two Days Later:
-Friday Afternoon-
--RDX's Office--

"Guys i hope you remember this weekend you all better be free, i hooe you all remember what it is na?"

The gang all smiled and laughed. Rdx giggled as he looked at his ring.

"I hope to see you all the next three days. Time for more masti, shor and dance alright guys! See you tonight!"

The gang started leaving and RDX asked Sharon a quick question, "Sharon, i heard your father's in town, I'd love it if he could come, its been a long time ive seen him!"*

Sharon hesitated... "Umm, yeah ill see sir..."

Friday Night :

RDX and Nicole were dressed in bright multi colored desi outfits. On one side, Nicole sat getting her mehndi done while RDX sat opposite her, staring away. All the boys sat in a circle around RDX and all the girls did the same around Nicole. The only person who kept a distance was Kria. She joined the celebration but sat a little far. She didn't want to spoil the mood as some were still annoyed by her.

Nicole: Yaar this is not fun kuch karo sab log
Nilesh: Maam, im very fun, full fun package right here
RDX: Nilesh ...
Nilesh: Sorry sir :/
RDX: Haha, im joking man. Acha this is vry boring so kuch khela jai? Gana, naach vaach?
Neha, Nicole, Taani: Antakshari!! Yes yes
Boys+ Vishaka: Antakshari?! NO WAY
RDX: acha okay, khelte hain, lekin Nicole, you're first.

Nicole: O pardesiyaaa😆, pardesiya yeh sach hai piya, sab kehte hain maine tujhko dil de diya, Main kehti hoon tune mera dil le liyaaa

RDX: aj kal tere mere pyar ke charche har zabaan par sab ko maloom hai aur sab ko khabar ho gayiii-

Nilesh: uhm, can we come to the new millenium guys? Come on!!!

*all laugh*

Rinni: Say na say na how you said to me, soni did na did na how you did to me. Dholi dholi baja raj raj ke, oh saya yaar manana eh nachke, oh saya-

Amar; Suraj hua madham, chaand jalne laga-

Vicky; Le gayi le gayi, dil le gayi le gayi, Mukjo hoina na kabhar, chori chori chup chup kar jab pyar ki pehli nazar ... hayee!!!😆

Neha smiles* : Nikamma kiya is dil ne is dil ne kiya hai nikamma😳😆

Sharon: Meri saanson mein tu hai samaaya, mera jeevan to hai tera saaya, teri pooja karoon main to har dam *😲😆*

Swayam smirking**😉: Deewana main tera deewana, Mohabbat kya hai ab yeh jaana-

Kria looked at Swayam and Sharon and smiled at them both (:😍 . Rey didnt understand it. It didnt make sense to him. Why was Kria happy at Swayam and Sharon. He cuts of Swayam's turn and :

Rey: Jaane tu meri kya hai,jaane mein tera kya tha, saath tere har pal, saath tere har lamha tha. Jaane kaisi kasak hai jaane kaisi tadap hai, kyun aankhen nam hai, jaane kaisa gum hai...

Kria buts in. She knew exactly why Rey was singing what he was, and the whole mahol had turned sad ...

Kria: Hai kya yeh jo tere mere darmiyaan hai, Andekhi ansuni koi dastaan hai-

Nilesh: uff thank you Kria, atleast you cut Rey off. Kya kehte hai, haan, talkcutter-

Bharat: abe ulooo, talkcutter nahi, baatcutter-

Rey looked down, why did he just do that?

Nilesh: What yaar Rey, you made the whole atmosphere rona like! Thank you Kria for taking a turn uff

Rey whispers, Yeah, thanks Kria, all thanks to you ...

Everyone began dancing in the room, all enjoyed the night...

Slowly the dj changed the song beats and started to play slow romantic tunes, so all the couples got took each other by the hands and began to sway back and forth. Kria took a look around the room and spotted Sharon and Swayam, hand in hand, smiling and laughing. She remembered how much Rey and her had done to bring the two together. She smiled at the two again and searched for Rey, and found him staring right at her. She felt a little uncomfortable. She fixed her outfit and her hair and folded her arms across her chest. She slowly walked out of the room.

Kria stood outside RDX's house. She wasnt crying, but she wasnt smiling either. She just couldnt fit herself into the happy atmosphere inside.

She found herself in such a turmoil. Neither could she find answers to her millions of questions about her dear ones, nor could she find the courage to fully face her beloved. It wasnt as easy as it seemed. She was never nervous, but now she was. She asked herself if she should tell Rey or not, if he would believe her, if he would be okay with it, whether he could see her the same way again. Yes.

Kria turned to head back inside but was stopped by a large figure.

His whole face was sweaty, his eyes red around the corners, his nose and cheeks puffed. He grabbed her by her arm and flung her into his white Mercedes and auto-locked all the doors in the car so only he had control of opening and closing.

She was horrified. What in the world?

He drove in indescribable speed. 60,.70, 85, 105, 145 miles, the speed radar took no name of hitting the lower numbers. Kria took no chance of asking where she was being taken or why. She knew it wasn't the right time to ask any kind of questions. His anger was exploding, and if she asked, she'd just be adding a lot more spice to the spicy. He hit the breaks with a loud step and the car came to an abrupt halt. He had stopped in the middle of nowhere; tall trees and a jungle like area, off coast a small mountain.

He pushed open Kria's door from where he sat and yelled under his teeth, " OUT."

Kria looked startled. "GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW. OUT."

Kria heeded and he followed out too. Kria finally decided to ask what was going on. Why was he behaving like this?

"Rey, what are you doing, why-"

"NO. You listen to me. I should ask you what you are doing! WHAT ARE YOU DOING KRIA?"

He never talked to her in such a tone before. His veins popped out near his neck area. He was super angry. She felt it. But she didnt understand where he was going?

"I mean, what the hell are you doing? Yes fine you left me. I didn't ask for an explanation cool. But what is up Kria? You're back but its not you?! What did you tell me that day, about Swayam? That he's the better guy? So what was that today? If you felt as such then why that smile, that brightness in your eyes when Sharon and Swayam were together? I just dont understand. You and i worked to bring Sharon and Swayam together. Then you tell me that it was always ... Swayam for you ...and then today you're wishing for them two? Are you okay Kria? And oh oh, dont get me started on your dancing. What's with the no to dancing? you've never ever said no to it. In fact its been your first love and utmost passion. Damn it Kria, you know i know you very well, and there is something, maybe many things you're keeping from me, and its literally eating me inside Kria. Forget that i love... loved you, or do, or will, forget it. Forget all that we did together. You can't tell me that i wasnt a good friend. Maybe i wasn't a good guy that a girl wants like you.. said that night ... but you can't say that i wasnt a good friend. I stood by your side Kria and i did help you. It hurts me to see you in any kind of problem. And i know for a fact that you are hiding it from me. Tell me that there isnt anything you're hiding? Tell me and ill stop asking you Kria. Just once."

Kria didn't know what to say. She wanted to tell him. But she was scared. The longing and questions in his eyes were to strong for her stay quiet any longer.

"There's nothing Rey."

Rey gave a sarcastic laugh. "You cant even lie. You're so bad at it"

Kria squinted her eyes at Rey and looked away and drew her lips inside of her.

Rey placed a hand on her shoulders. "Kria, if you still consider me as a friend ... or ever did ... then please, tell me, tell me whatever it is. Im ready. Im right here to listen, to stand next to you. Please."

Kria still looked down but one of her hands reached the hand Rey had placed on her shoulder and she squeezed it.

First things First, the Fact is I love you, damn u Lady, I am sure our brains work in the same manner and that intense branch is well connected in them, seriously Kudos to You for bringing back KriYaansh, the way they should, the way they deserve and how they were since the start. In your FF its like the Dil se Re couple is back in action, the awkwardness is there, emotional outbursts are there and most prominently The real Rey is there, one who had the guts to shut Kria up whereas in the show after their realtionship started all i could see was a Dreamy guy Rey and that was something i despised.

And am the first one to comment😳, Really happpy, i feel so attached to this FF, i feel its like my thoughts written by you and that too in the magnificent style of writing where dialogues are less of consideration and the latent deeprooted emotions take a step ahead.

Okay enough of my stupid blabber, coming to this update, This particular Chapter has to be my Fav as yet, trust me i was waiting for an emotional outburst. I wanted Rey to come out clean with her, the silence that evaded their entire being had to be broken and words had to displace the emotions brewing up between them.

Yes,thats how Kria should feel totally broken. Its like she has made a wall which reflects her a stone hearted lady but the real kria does come out when she is lone and thats when emotions take over her.

A beautiful Stanza, when feelings of a lover take over the feelings of a betrayed man. The whole para suggests the Love that is evident between the two and its depth. Inspite of the Fact that Kria betrayed Rey, He isn't able to control himself from comforting her and blaming himself at the sight of her misery. Her cries are able not tolerable for him but that betrayal stops him from taking a step ahead. *Bravo*

I love the way you showed the jealousy factor enveloping Rey, its like another Rose day party seq, where he can't see those arms around her waist. He literally threw daggers from his eyes and undoubtely the possesive lover is once again feeling the same.

He continued walking till he reached kria, who was sort of hiding behind a pillar.

"Even if you look breathtaking in an attire that isnt yours ... it isnt you..." Rey's eyes pierced into Kria's and he left. Kria stood for a bit, clutching her dupatta.

Wow, Seriously Wow, i have no words how to describe how much i love this para, it reminds me of the time when KriYaansh used to talk in riddles. Do u remember the time when Kria said something to Rey when she had a fight with him, i exaclty don't remember the scene, but i remember she was wearing a green top with chinese close neck and she said that while remembering her whole journey, she said it to Sharon i guess whilst rey was standing behind deciphering its Real meaning, i'll get back to you if i found that scene.

The last line took my breath away, I am loving how you are shaping Rey's character, a strong guy who won't break this time rather he would question her and snatch that Love which he wants.

Rey: Jaane tu meri kya hai,jaane mein tera kya tha, saath tere har pal, saath tere har lamha tha. Jaane kaisi kasak hai jaane kaisi tadap hai, kyun aankhen nam hai, jaane kaisa gum hai...

Kria buts in. She knew exactly why Rey was singing what he was, and the whole mahol had turned sad ...

Kria: Hai kya yeh jo tere mere darmiyaan hai, Andekhi ansuni koi dastaan hai-

Nilesh: uff thank you Kria, atleast you cut Rey off. Kya kehte hai, haan, talkcutter-

Bharat: abe ulooo, talkcutter nahi, baatcutter-

Rey looked down, why did he just do that?

Nilesh: What yaar Rey, you made the whole atmosphere rona like! Thank you Kria for taking a turn uff

Rey whispers, Yeah, thanks Kria, all thanks to you ...

Coming to kriYaansh, Man! i love Jane tu (slow version), and i always imagined kria dancing on it, letting go off her emotions through dance. And the way Nil mentions Baatcutter, oh god i can just feel the whirlpoool of emotions both Kria and rey must have felt in that one moment. No wonder that "thanku kria" was that sarcastic.

Kria turned to head back inside but was stopped by a large figure.

His whole face was sweaty, his eyes red around the corners, his nose and cheeks puffed. He grabbed her by her arm and flung her into his white Mercedes and auto-locked all the doors in the car so only he had control of opening and closing.

She was horrified. What in the world?

He drove in indescribable speed. 60,.70, 85, 105, 145 miles, the speed radar took no name of hitting the lower numbers. Kria took no chance of asking where she was being taken or why. She knew it wasn't the right time to ask any kind of questions. His anger was exploding, and if she asked, she'd just be adding a lot more spice to the spicy. He hit the breaks with a loud step and the car came to an abrupt halt. He had stopped in the middle of nowhere; tall trees and a jungle like area, off coast a small mountain.

He pushed open Kria's door from where he sat and yelled under his teeth, " OUT."

Kria looked startled. "GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW. OUT."

My fav moment for sure, the way Rey appears, i can just imagine how atrocious he must be feeling at that time, the emotions brewing up and the tears falling down! Simply stunning! He needed to get Angry on her, shout on her so as to throw that out of his system, all that which he was going through since she left.

Kria heeded and he followed out too. Kria finally decided to ask what was going on. Why was he behaving like this?

"Rey, what are you doing, why-"

"NO. You listen to me. I should ask you what you are doing! WHAT ARE YOU DOING KRIA?"

He never talked to her in such a tone before. His veins popped out near his neck area. He was super angry. She felt it. But she didnt understand where he was going?

"I mean, what the hell are you doing? Yes fine you left me. I didn't ask for an explanation cool. But what is up Kria? You're back but its not you?! What did you tell me that day, about Swayam? That he's the better guy? So what was that today? If you felt as such then why that smile, that brightness in your eyes when Sharon and Swayam were together? I just dont understand. You and i worked to bring Sharon and Swayam together. Then you tell me that it was always ... Swayam for you ...and then today you're wishing for them two? Are you okay Kria? And oh oh, dont get me started on your dancing. What's with the no to dancing? you've never ever said no to it. In fact its been your first love and utmost passion. Damn it Kria, you know i know you very well, and there is something, maybe many things you're keeping from me, and its literally eating me inside Kria. Forget that i love... loved you, or do, or will, forget it. Forget all that we did together. You can't tell me that i wasnt a good friend. Maybe i wasn't a good guy that a girl wants like you.. said that night ... but you can't say that i wasnt a good friend. I stood by your side Kria and i did help you. It hurts me to see you in any kind of problem. And i know for a fact that you are hiding it from me. Tell me that there isnt anything you're hiding? Tell me and ill stop asking you Kria. Just once."

Kria didn't know what to say. She wanted to tell him. But she was scared. The longing and questions in his eyes were to strong for her stay quiet any longer.

"There's nothing Rey."

Kria's silence and her giving in to his anger is something very realistic and stupendously described. I can feel the upheavel Rey is going thorugh. Though he is shouting on her, is taking out his frustration but yet i can feel tears rolling down his eyes and weakening him at the same time. His worry for her is something which is amazingly portrayed in his outburst, He can't figure out the way to break her silence. Its said that A lover's love and hate both can be handled but indifference is what makes it a big deal and thats what Rey is feeling.

Rey gave a sarcastic laugh. "You cant even lie. You're so bad at it"

Kria squinted her eyes at Rey and looked away and drew her lips inside of her.

Rey placed a hand on her shoulders. "Kria, if you still consider me as a friend ... or ever did ... then please, tell me, tell me whatever it is. Im ready. Im right here to listen, to stand next to you. Please."

Kria still looked down but one of her hands reached the hand Rey had placed on her shoulder and she squeezed it.

I feel so nostalgic and gloom-stricken right now, it was like an ode to a place where i always wanted to be, the beauty lies in the words. Kria's small gestures fill me eyes, Hope she clears the thing she is facing and relies on the guy who can die for her if she wants. And I hope that squeeze of asurance becomes the signal of Yes for Rey :)
