Part 51

Arnav: khushi.. voh.. he licked his lips. Andar bhi. It's. Umm. While keep her face turned to look over her shoulder to approvingly closed her eyes and then turned her head back to rest on her hands. He gulped. He brought his other hand to the zipper. He tried to clear out some of the stiffened wax. Then very slowly. And hesitantly he started to unzip her dress. She gulped. He stopped once he saw where the wax drip had ended. Her entire back was now bare in front of him. His heart was beating very fast. He closed his eyes. And clenched his jaws. Gulped. He needed a lot of self control right now. He picked up the towel again and started to peel off the remaining bit of wax. He was finally done this step. He looked at her back. There was a bright red burn line along her spine. How must she have endured that pain. And all for him. It was all because of him. He started to blame himself for her pain. His eyes became moist. He sniffed. Very quietly. But khushi's heart could hear his heart crying. She tilted her head up and turned it to the side. She turned her head a bit more, she felt the stretch on her burns hurt her, but she needed to see him. He had closed his eyes. And she could see a tear falling down from it.

Khushi: Arnav. Please don't cry. Main theek hoon. He opened his eyes and touched the back of her neck with this fingers from one hand. His fingers gently caressed her neck and back. Slowly and very very gently sliding it down where the burn was. She looked down. Gasped for air. His touch was mesmerizing. She rolled her eyes up and closed them. Clenching her jaw. She put her forehead on her hands again. He leaned in. his eyes could feel the burning that was on her bare skin. He placed both of his on the side of her shoulders on the bed. He leaned a bit more in. he was at the beginning of where she got burnt. He gently started to blowing cold air onto her bare back. She hissed. His cold breathe on her tender wound gave her shivers. He slowly kept on blowing along her spine. Being sure to pay attention to every little burned cell. Once he reached the bottom. He slowly made his way back up. But this time he stopped in the middle. He gently placed his lips on her tender wound. She gasped. Took in a deep deep breath. Her heart skipped a few beats. He started to place soft and getnly kisses on his way back up. He only gave a couple of kisses, but they were enough to soothe her pain. She made a fist with the bed sheet in her hands. She arched her back. He noticed this response. And stopped as he placed his final kiss at the bottom of her neck. She gulped. Her eyes tightly shut.

His kiss soothed the burning sensation that she had. The wet towel, or dried up wax, nothing had this affect on her. Not until his tender lips cooled her burnt skin.

He moved his head back up a bit. He grabbed the medicine tube from the night table. Squeezing out a bit on this fingers. Very very gently dabbing it and rubbing it on her wound. Making soft and small circles with his finger. Apply more cream. Once he was finished he closed the tube and put it back on the table. He wiped his fingers on a tissue. Khushi was turning.

Arnav: ek minute. Don't move. She stopped. Shocked. Arnav kneeled back down and tied the strings behind the neck again. The dress would not be able to hold it's self up. She smiled and looked down again. Feeling a bit embarrassed. It was good Arnav remembered she thought.

Arnav: voh, I am not zipping it up again. The cream is there. She turned her face and looked to the side. Not at him.

Khushi: hmm.. she said very softly. He helped her get up from the bed without letting her back touch anything. The dress was a bit loose since the zipper was not tied. Khushi felt uncomfortable. She tried to push her elbows against the side of her stomach to keep the dress in place and tight. But it was not working out that well. She kept on looking down. Feeling awkward. Arnav noticed this. And he felt just as awkward as her. He had to think of something. But what. He looked side to side.

Arnav: ek minute.

Arnav started to unbutton his shirt. Her eyes widened. She gulped. Looked down. Her heart started to race again. What was he going to do. She held the sides of her dress very tightly. He took his shirt off. He held it out infront of her. He was now in his white vest. As if he was helping her to wear it. But there was just one small difference. The shirt was turned around.

Arnav: isko aisay pehenlo. She looked up. She put her two hands into sleeves from the front. So that the button would be tied from the back. She looked down. He moved back. She lowered her gaze and she took her hands to the back to try to button up the shirt. A small painful ouch came out from her mouth. Moving her shoulders back agitated the burn. She was not able to tie it. He saw her struggling.

Arnav: ek minute. She looked at him. Her big eyes looking deeply into his. He took two steps forward. Closing the distance between them. Her hands were now infront of her. Holding the side of his shirt tightly. She looked side to side and then down. He was now right in front of her. He placed his finger under her chin and made her look into his eyes.

Arnav's eyes: do you trust me.

Khushi eye;s: khud say bhi ziyada. Arnav started to wrap his hands around her. Her hands were in the middle. He was not able to get the buttons. Without breaking their eye contact he held her hands and raised them slowly. Gently placing her hands on his chest. She looked down and started to blush. He smiled. He then wrapped his hands around her once more and started to button the shirt from the bottom. Only a couple of buttons. Enough to make sure that she felt comfortable in her clothing and to make sure that the shirt did not touch her back. First button, second button, and then third. She looked at her right hand. It was placed on his heart. She could feel his hear beating faster and faster. She closed her eyes. Cherishing this moment of their. She thanked God for sending someone like Arnav in her life. He had seen her entire bare back just moments ago. They spent very intimate and close times together. Almost kissed. And yet, he always took two steps back in their relationship just to make sure that she was ok. He never started off from where they left off. She guessed that it was better for them. They would get to make more sweet memories of those stages in their relationship again and again. More beautiful memories each time. He moved back and she brought her hands down. She didn't look up at him. She tucked her strands of hair behind her ear. If he respected her, then she also respected him. He was only in his vest. She felt shy as well. He looked down and licked his lips. She silently walked towards the bed. She picked up her shawl. And stood behind him. His eyes followed her. She still looked down. Very slowly she started to walk towards him and then went behind him. His head turning and silently following her every move. She held the shawl open and placed it around his shoulders. He smiled. Even in her pain. When he was busy making her feel less awkward, she thought of him. He wrapped the shawl around him from the front as well. Even if he was okay with being only in a vest in front of her. She was not. She was raised differently. Than any other girl. He turned around and faced her. She finally looked up at him. Their eyes met. They both gave each other gentle and soft smiles. This night was bringing them closer and closer. Their hearts closer and closer.

Khushi remembered something. She smiled. Sighed. He had a smile on his face but seeing her in deep thought made him wonder. His slightly furrowed his eyebrows. She looked down. Licked her bottom lip.

Khushi: Arnav. Can I ask you something.

Aranv: poocho. She looked up at him again.

Khushi: bahar walk par chalain. Arnav chuckled. She remembered why he came here.

Aranv: aisay? She bit her bottom lip. And looked side to side. He had a point.

Arnav: I mean. Kya. I dont have a shirt. Jo bhi tha, tumhay day diya. Her eyes shot up. She went over to her suitcase and bent down. He looked the other way. Her back was open. This time, staring at it would not be appropriate. He looked the other way. She got up and went back to him. She handed him his t-shirt. He chuckled. It was the same one he gave her when they were going to their parents.

Arnav: thanks. Are you sure you are able to go for a walk right now. She looked at him. Smiled and nodded her head. Her back was still paining, but she would bear it. Her pain was nothing compared to her love. She would bare the pain of the entire world for his smile, his happiness, and his sake. He gave her her shawl and put on his t-shirt. It smelled like her. He took a deep breath in as he slid it on. She heard him taking that deep deep breath in. she bit her bottom lip. Remembering how she did the same thing while staying over at her parents place. She wrapped her shawl on top of his shirt. They went out of the room. The were quiet. Just walking besides each other. The stood in the elevator. He took a few steps towards her and hooked his finger with her. She looked down and blushed. The walked out of the hotel. And started to take a quiet stroll down the garden. Just silently walking beside each other. His one hand was in his pocket. The other hooked with her finger. Her other arm hugging her. It was cold. In the middle of the night. It was a bit chilly. They stood in front of the water fountain located in the middle of the garden. They silently stood there. Words never did their feeligs justice. Sometimes silence can be more comforting that words. The absense of words makes some memories sweeter. "jab do loog pyaar kar thay hain, tho unki akhain boo thi hain, zuban nahin". And for Arnav and khushi. They now didn't even need to look at each other. Their hearts were one, they could feel and sense what the other felt and said. They stood there for a few minutes. He noticed her getting a bit cold. Her hand was getting cold. He let got of her finger and took two steps until he was now behind her. He put his hands on her arms and started to gently rub her arms. She hugged herself from the front. Arnav leaned into her ear and whispered.

Aranv: wapas chalain. She looked down and nodded her head. They both turned around. Arnav was about to hook his fingers with hers. But khushi did something. She held his entire hand this time. Intertwining her fingers with his. She gently placed her head on his shoulder. And held onto his arm with her other hand. A small cuddle while walking. A feeling of oneness, closeness, and togetherness.

Precap: sorry guys. Was not able to write up for the trip back. Will do tom. Hopefully. :)
