Khushi had now fully recovered and was returning back to college today. She had missed going college, she had felt trapped in those four walls of her room and now finally coming out of there she felt free and happy.

Arnav had visited Khushi everyday after she was discharged from the hospital, though she was still a little apprehensive around him, she was now atleast talking to him and that was a start Arnav thought. He knew she wouldn't open up to him straight away and he was fine with that, he would give her as much time as she needed but whatever happened he would not let her go this time.

Arnav had asked the professer to make Khushi sit next to him again, to which he could not refuse as Arnav was the star pupil.

When Khushi entered the classroom the proffessor called her and told her to go sit in her old seat as she would need alot of catching up to do again.

Khushi: But sir i'm sure i will be able to cope, i don't think i need Arnavs help

Professor: Khushi, you have missed alot due to your accident and i would highly recommend you take help from Arnav again, there isn't anyone else in this class that will be able to explain to you as well as him.

Left with no other choice, Khushi went and sat next to Arnav and started to take out her books avoiding Arnav as much as possible.

Arnav smiled at his first victory, now it would be easier for him to approach Khushi he thought.

Arnav: So ? Ready to jump right into the work ?

Khushi: Yup

Khushi tried to act as normal as possible, but still refused to look up into those chocolate brown eyes, as she knew once she sees them she would drown into their depths forever.

Arnav: Waise agar koi bhi help chahiye toh puch lena okay ?

Khushi just nodded and looked straight at the smart board.

Arnav( thought): How long are you gonna avoid me sweetheart... laut kar toh mere paas hi aana hai

He smiled at his thoughts and diverted his attention towards the front where the professer was explaining the new topic.

Anjali noticed the indifference Khushi was showing towards arnav and couldn't take it anymore, what had happened that day she had an accident that she started to act like Arnav meant nothing to her.

Khushi had come around Raizada house to meet Anjali and when Arnav had opened the door Khushi just looked down and said a quick hi in a quite tone and moved past him, Anjali had been standing right behind them and thats when she noticed how Khushi was hardly even looking at Arnav.

Khushi walked up to Anjali and hugged her, getting a warm hug from Anjali in return.

Anjali : how are you ?

Khushi: Great !

Khushi noticed how Anjali was looking at her questioningly and raised her eyebrow giving her a look which said 'what?'

Khushi: Kya hua? why are you looking at me like that ?

Anjali: Come with me, we'll talk in my room.

Khushi followed anjali to her room still very confused as to why Anjali was behaving so strangely.

Anjali closed the room of her door and asked Khushi to sit, whilst she stood looking at her skeptically with her hand behind her back.

Khushi: Okay Anji your freaking me out now, what is up with you ?

Anjali looked at her incredulously... she's asking me this ? Anjali thought

Anjali: Whats up with me ?! Whats up with you?

Khushi started to realize what Anjali was referring to and looked away.

Anjali: Why are you behaving so indifferently with chotte ? Akhir hua kya hai?

Khushi smiled as if nothing had happened and spoke in her jolly tone.

Khushi: Oh god Anji nothing has happened... what makes you think that? Me and Arnav are still friends as before.

Anjali rolled her eyes at her best friends fake jolly mood, who was this girl trying to fool.

Anjali: Exactly... tum dono sirf dost nahin the... on the night of the movies Arnav came back home with a lovely smile, and i guessed he had proposed to you and when i asked him he said yes.

Khushi hadn't known that Anji knew about that night, and now that she knew Anji was aware of their complicated relationship there was no use trying to hide her feeling.

Anjali was looking at Khushi's changing expressions, from shock to embarassment to defeat and then sadness. She went up to her friend and hugged her tightly.

Khushi couldn't hold in her emotions anymore and started to sob hard into her best friends shoulder.

Anjali couldn't stand Khushi's tears anymore, she had seen enough of this, now she would make sure Khushi and Arnav were back together no matter what... but before that could happen she needed to know why Khushi was acting like this, and why she wasn't accepting her and Arnav's relationship.
