Leaving you behind Part 8

Arnav was sat ready in his car and waiting for the girls to finish getting ready. He was getting impatient by the minute.

Arnav (thought): What do these girls do? Why do they have to take so long whilst getting ready!? Urghh!

Arnav got out of the car and stopped when he saw the most beautiful sight stood smiling warmly at him. She was wearing a beautiful white anarkali which was not too fancy but just enough to make her look like an angel. She had left her hair down, which allowed them to fly freely in the breeze making her look all the more attractive and beautiful.

Khushi wasn't sure what to wear as she had never really gone out to the movies with friends before, in fact she had never been to the movies at all as her parents were always busy and she didn't have close enough friends.

Anjali looked from the window of her room and saw her brother staring at Khushi as Khushi looked lost somewhere else' she wondered if the two would even proceed from just staring and smiling.

Arnav broke out of his daze as he saw Khushi look a little upset about something.

Arnav: Are you okay?

Khushi looked up and saw Arnavs eyes full with concern, to which Khushi smiled thanking her Devi Maiya for such caring friends like Arnav and Anjali.

Khushi: Hmm ? yeah, I'm fine' I was just thinking whether what I'm wearing is okay or not.

Arnav thought of cheering her up by pulling her leg a little.

Arnav: Well honestly it looks like you're going to a someone's wedding or something.

Khushi looked down at herself in horror.

Khushi: see! I knew it' I knew I was looking too over the top!

Arnav looked at Khushi, who looked like she was having a panic attack' over her clothes! ... Women! Arnav couldn't help but say in his mind.

Khushi: I'll just go and change my clothes' I'll be right back.

Arnav didn't want her to change her clothes, she looked so beautiful' he quickly grabbed her hand and held her back from going.

Arnav: No! don't change!!

Khushi was taken aback by Arnav's tone' why was he reacting like that!

Arnav realised what he was saying and quickly added: 'I mean' god knows how long you'll take this time and by the time you come back the movie will probably be finished!

Khushi looked at arnav with an open mouth, totally offended by Arnavs comment.

Khushi: what do you mean? I don't take THAT long!!

Arnav smirked looking at Khushi getting angry at him, she was so cute!!

Arnav: Oh really!?

Khushi: yes really' anyways forget you' Where is Anji? Isn't she ready yet?

Arnav: I have no idea where that girl is' she is taking forever to get ready.

Khushi: come on let's go check.

Arnav: Okay

Arnav signalled Khushi to lead the way whilst he followed' Khushi smiled at that gesture' he's such a gentle man she thought to herself.

Khushi knocked on Anjali's bedroom door, the door opened and Khushi and Arnav were surprised to see Anjali still not ready.

Arnav: Anji! What is this yaar? Why are you not ready yet?

Anjali: Chotte' I don't think I will be able to go' I'm feeling a little ill.

Arnav and Khushi both went up to Anji with concern making her sit on her bed.

Arnav: what!? Why didn't you tell me' let me call the doctor.

Anjali: Chotte!!! I'm not THAT ill that I need a doctor' stop over reacting' Anyways I don't think I'll be able to come to the movies with you two so you two go on your own.

Khushi: No way Anji' we can't go knowing you're not feeling well.

Arnav: Exactly! How could you even think we'd go without you.

Anji: But chotte I've already booked to tickets' I had initially booked it for myself and Khushi but now that I cant go its better you use them' they've been paid for!

Arnav: yeah but Anji who will be there to take care of you?

'I will'

They all turned their head towards the door to see Nani standing there.

Nani: You two go, I'm here to take care of Anjali.

Khushi: But Nani'

Nani: I don't want to hear any but's and if's okay' now get going, or you'll get late for the movie.

With no other option the got up and headed towards the door, and left.

Once the two had gone' Nani and Anjali hi- fived each other smiling widely' their plan had worked.

The two reached the cinema just on time, they showed their ticket and were directed towards the hall they were to go to.

Khushi had suddenly just realised that she had not even asked Anji what movie she had booked the tickets for' so she asked Arnav.

Khushi: Umm Arnav what movie are we watching? I completely forgot to ask Anji.

Arnav looked at the tickets and replied to Khushi.

Arnav: Scream' it's a horror movie.

Khushi nearly fainted hearing the word horror.

Khushi: Wwhaattt' hor...Horror movie?

Arnav noticed how Khushi was scared and chuckled a little.

Arnav: yeah' Anji just loves horror movies' weirdo!

Khushi had started to sweat and felt dead scared' one thing she hated were horror movies' but she didn't want to act as if she was a scaredy cat.

Arnav: to be honest I don't really find this stuff scary I mean what so scary about a movie' its not even true.

Khushi laughed nervously.

Khushi (thought): heh heh It may not be real but it sure will give me nightmares for the rest of my life! Hey devi Maiya raksha karna!

Arnav and Khushi settled down in their chair with some popcorn and a drink. Khushi was sat right at the end so even if she wanted to go out she couldn't' just great! She thought.

Arnav wasn't really scared of anything but he was surprised that Khushi wasn't scared either, he had thought she would be scared' but then when he turned to look at her he instantly figured that she was, but he didn't say anything' let's see how much she can take.

The movie started and at first looked pretty normal' but knowing it was a horror movie Khushi had already closed her eyes and started to pray to Devi Maiya.

Arnav was so engrossed in the movie that he didn't notice Khushi.

When the actual horror started Khushi had started to breath really heavily trying hard not cry or scream... even though her eyes were close the sound effect were still enough to scare the hell out of Khushi.

Suddenly it went quiet, so Khushi peaked to see whether the movie had finished or not, she looked up and saw just black screen but then after a few seconds'

Aaahhh!!!!!
