Khushi came downstairs to see no one there. Where did Arnav and Aesha go? She thought. She peeped in all of the rooms hoping to see them but she didn't. Something was definitely up she thought. She walked over to the tea table to see a pink note folded in half. She carefully un-wrapped it.

"Walk over to the poolside doors, and that will bring you closer to me, Arnav xx"

She had a strange feeling in her stomach what is he planning to do this time? She thought.

She walked over to the poolside window and looked around hoping to find him just then she saw one of his favourite plants, which she had gifted him. What's that doing here? She thought. She walked towards the plant to see another pink note folded in half, she again carefully un-wrapped it hoping it would reveal something

"I see, you are listening to my instructions eh? Let me guess you're really annoyed with me right now? After solving this puzzle, I promise you this will be the end of it"

She read further down to find out the last bit of information

"look at where we first kissed, Arnav xx"

She immediately looked at the chair after reading the note and she blushed at the instant memory of them two being ever so close to each other that one night.

Just then she saw a white bag that caught her attention straight away, she opened it up to see a beautiful red saree. It had a heavy boarder but the rest was pretty plain, just then her phone vibrated it was a text from Arnav.

"Where this saree today and be my bride again, Arnav xx"

Khushi hugged the saree as if it was Arnav, she thanked him silently in her mind

She adorned the beautiful piece of material over her and put on a pair of earrings that her had bought her not to long ago. Her sindoor on her forehead made her pale skin look even brighter. Her simple double beaded mangulsutra was resting on her chest.

Just then she got another text, boy he must really know me she thought.

"A driver will be here to pick you up, come to the destination he leaves you at and there I will be waiting for you, Arnav xx"

Khushi grabbed her clutch bag as soon as she heard the door bell ring; she reached the venue where the driver had taken her before she could open the door she saw Arnav from the car window opening it.

She got out carefully holding hands with him.

"Happy Anniversary khushi you look beautiful"

He started at her from top to bottom, enlightened to see her in the outfit he picked out for her

Khushi had a huge smile on her face

Khushi: so you remembered?! She laughed

Arnav: how could I ever forget Jaan this date will never be forgotten

Just then reality hit khushi and she came out of the gaze she was in

Khushi: where are we Arnav? And where is Aesha?

Arnav: come in with me and you will see

The couple entered the dim lit hall hand in hand, khushi clutched onto Arnav as it was dark and she was quite afraid

Arnav: khushi its okay

"1,2,3… HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!" Everyone shouted while coming out of their hiding places.

Khushi's and Arnav's face lightened up, everyone was there to bless them, Nanniji was there too holding Aesha

The party went on with everyone taking pictures, eating cake etc…

Soon everyone started to leave, Arnav took hold of khushi's hand

Arnav: come on khushi, let's go

Khushi: what about Aesha?

Arnav: Nanniji is going to have her for the night

Khushi: what? why arnav? You know nanniji and how old she is how can she look after her?

Arnav: khushi its okay, she insisted besides she's not alone Di is with her?

Khushi didn't want to ask anything further she just followed him and they both got into the car.

Khushi: Arnav thank you so much for the party tonight and for everything else, today is a day I will never forget, thank you for making it special for me.

Arnav: oh khushi we haven't finished yet

Khushi came out of the embrace she was in with him

Khushi: what else is there? She smiled nervously.

Arnav: look were here now come on lets go

The couple entered the restaurant, it was lit with candles and other couples where there too but they were in another world too.

Arnav sat khushi down on one of the tables and sat down opposite her.

Khushi: Arnav! This is my favourite restaurant!

Arnav smiled: I know that's why I bought you here

Khushi: honestly Arnav you are the best husband ever.

Arnav: and you are the best wife ever, you will be my wife forever and always.

Khushi smiled.

The late evening went on and the two of them sat down talking and enjoying their romantic meal.

Once their meal was finished Arnav offered khushi his hand and walked her over to the dance floor.

Arnav: khushi, dance with me?

Khushi placed her hands on one of his shoulders and the other with his hand, Arnav slid his free hand around her waist and they began to dance to slow and calm music.

Once the music had stopped Arnav leaned in closer and whispered

"There's a hotel upstairs and I've booked us a room for the night"
