Khushi threw off her covers, "did I hear that right. He is coming back today amma. Why didn't you tell me before?"

"Well I am telling you now right. So get up and get dressed. There is a pooja at the Raizadas today in the afternoon, so hurry up. I laid out a saree for you to wear."

"Saree, but I never wear sarees amma."

"Khushi you ask too many questions. Just do what I say."

"Fine." Khushi didn't like being told what to do, but in this instance she didn't mind at all because he was coming back after so many years. 8 years she hadn't seen him. All these years he had been in America studying, he hadn't even gotten a chance to come back for a few days to visit because of his studies. She had missed him'his smile, the way his eyes crinkled when he laughed'even his anger. Was he still the Arnav she remembered'intense, controlling, yet loving.

Two hours later Khushi and her family rang the doorbell to the Raizada Mansion.

"Garima, Shashi ji welcome," Badi ma said as she opened the door, "where is my Khushi?"

Khushi, a bit self-conscious because she was wearing a saree for the first time, had been hiding behind amma, buaji, and babuji. She peeked out from behind them, "so there you are."

Badi ma grabbed her hand and pulled into a hug. "Khushi you look amazing. I am glad I picked green color for you."

"Wait badi ma you bought this for me."

"Well of course, you think garima knows what looks best on you," she said jokingly.

"Yay, yay I know she more your child than mine," badi ma said laughingly.

"Now stop you two. Thank you for this lovely saree aunty," Khushi said as she looked behind badi ma trying to spot him. She had not seen him in years. Sure he had emailed pictures of himself to Akash and she had gotten a glimpse of one of his pictures, but Akash had teased her and she had shied away.

"Who are you looking for my darling," she had almost forgotten she had been standing in front of badi ma. Khushi jerked her eyes back to ma and said "no one ma, I was just ummm looking for akash bhai."

"Akash right. He's not here'the one you are looking for," ma teased her. Why did everyone in this house tease her so much? "His flight got delayed, so he will be home in a few hours."

"Bhabhi," Khushi heard Akash call out from the stairs and tried to prepare herself for his onslaught.

"Bhabhi really, how much more will you tease me," she said as she sat down on the living room couch. It felt so weird hearing bhabhi from his mouth.

"Well I am practicing, after all I will have to call you that from now on right," he said as he came over and sat beside her on the couch. Khushi felt heat rush to her cheeks at his words'he would have to call her that from now on and she would have to call herself Mrs. Raizada.

He peered at her through inquiring eyes, "are you blushing bhabhi." She turned her head and looked at him with narrowed eyed, clearly warning him to back off. "Okay, okay bhabhi. Chill. I won't tease anymore. Well for a few hours atleast."
