Khushi: Shyam.. Where is Anjali Bhabhi? (She called her brother by his name from her childhood)

Shyam: Ohh God.. Khushi. Dont ask.. You know what her brother Arnav has come back to India.. She had to leave to RM. He should not suspect anything.. So..

She smiled feeling pity for her family and brother.. They were still unaware of the hurricane that had already washed away her life and was about to wash away them too.. which she would never let happen.

Shyam: Khushi.. Well you go and rest for sometime.. Today evening is your engagement.

Khushi had almost forgot this topic.. How could she? She was married now.. Though she would never accept this fact.. But she couldnt deny it either..

Khushi: Shyam, Dad.. I am not interested in getting engaged..

Everyone were shocked to hear this from her.. She could not deny it without a reason.

Shyam: What? Khushi. What happened? You yourself agreed to get engaged today and now you saying you wont..

Khushi: Shyam please.. I am not prepared for this.. I cant get engaged..

Garima: Khushi.. What are you talking Beta? They will come here in the evening.. And you saying all this now?

Shashi: Khushi.. Is everything ok with you? You really look so tired and your eyes as if you have cried much.. Are you ok?

Khushi: I am fine Dad.. Its just that I dont wanna get engaged..

She said that and left for her room. Everyone were surprised at her behaviour. Shyam and her dad tried to explain her a lot and tried to get a reason from her why she does not wanted to get engaged but she didnt utter a word on that.. She kept saying she cannot. Thats it. So after much discussion Shyam told this to the Grooms side people and the engagement was broken. He then called Anjali too and told her Khushi is back home and also about the engagement.. She too was confused on this behaviour of her sister in law..They then thought of giving Khushi sometime..May be she herself speaks up.

In RM

Anjali was busy at home with Nani and she told her too about how Khushi's engagement broke. They too felt sad..No one here had met Khushi yet. Mami and Mama were busy in welcoming Arnav who was about to come home anytime.. His Car entered the gates.. He got down and then came inside.. Mama and Mani welcomed him with smiles. He was in no mood to smile at them. He came inside.

Arnav: Mami where is Di?

Mami: Ohh Anjali. She is making your favourite Kheer to welcome you Hello Hi .Arnav Bitwa..

Arnav: What?

Mama: She means she is in Kitchen Arnav.. Come..

Mama and Arnav went in the Kitchen and there he saw his motherly figure sister Anjali. He could forgive her "n" number of mistakes done but not this one.. She married the wrong guy.. He knew Shyam was not right for her.. And he never will be.. Arnav knew shyam from past 5 years.. He had seen him with many girls before.. He was a true flirt.. He still had the same impression for Shyam though he hardly knew this that after Anjali came in his life, he changed..

Arnav: Di..

Anjali turned back at his voice.

Anjali: CHotte.. (She ran to him and hugged him. )

She saw him after a year.. She was crying. Even his eyes were moist seeing her..

Anjali: Chotte we missed you so much.. How are you? You look different.. So much anger still on your face. As if you have fought some battle and came back home.

This sentence was enough for Arnav to remember the last few hours of his life.. He almost kidnapped a girl, married her and then sent her back home. He remembered all her tears and the way she broke in front of him.. Did she reach safely? Well why was he thinking that? He didnt bother to know..

Anjali saw him all lost and then shook him.

Anjali: Chotte...?? What happened? Why do you look so lost?

Arnav: Nothing Di.. I will just rest for sometime.. Ok?

Anjali: Fine...

Arnav went to his room and threw his laptop bag on bed.. He then hurridly removed his tie and waist coat and flung it on the bed again. Something was worrying him inside. The anger that he felt inside him was almost burning him.

He went inside the Bathroom for a shower. Images of him getting married to her and then almost forcing on her haunted his mind. He figured on how he opened her Dori and then even pushed her to the Pillar. He clenched his Jaw remembering that. Flashes of how she slapped him made him close his fist in anger and then break the glass mirror besides him.. Blood started oozing out from his fist but he didnt care.. The colour of his blood reminded him of the Sindoor that he put on her head.. He was unable to stop these images.. Was he guilty for doing this? No.. Not yet.. He turned the shower off and came out.

Same Day in Gupta House

It was night.. Khushi didnt eat anything since morning.. She was forced by everyone at home but she didnt eat anything. How could she? She had faced such a horrible day today. She still could not believe she was married.. And specially married to him.. She was in her room crying when her mother knocked the door and came in. Khushi wiped her tears and looked the other way.

Garima: Khushi.. You are crying?

Khushi: No Maa, I am not.. Actually I was just not feeling well.. And soo..

Garima: It must be because of your travel. Come I will make you sleep.

She took Khushi with her and then made her sleep on the bed. She started caressing her hair while Khushi was trying to sleep.

Garima: Khushi. Whatever happened today with regards to your engagement just forget it.. Ok? We wish your happiness first. No one is angry on you.. Ok?

Khushi: Thanks Maa..

Garima: Khushi.. What are these marks on your hands?

Khushi immediately got up and checked her hands.. She could see marks of his nails on her entire hand.. She remembered how he pulled her to the Terrace. She was scared again. She didnt noticed it yet..

Garima: Khushi.. I am asking you.. Are they nail bites?

Khushi: Maa.. Actually.. Yes.. Something was pricking me when I was in the Car... So I scratched with my own hands.. And thus .. these nail bites..

Garima: Ok..

Khushi: Maa I will sleep now.. You go..

Garima: Ok fine.. Good night.. And yes one more thing.. You know your Bhabhi Anjali right.. She cant come here to meet us till her brother is here in India.. She wanted to give some stuff to Shyam. But she cannot meet him. So She had called you in the Laxmi temple tomorrow to meet. She will handover the things to you and also meet you. Ok?

Khushi: I dont wanna go anywhere Maa.. Please.

Garima: Khushi.. She is your Bhabhi. You cant deny.. You need to respect her relation with you.. You acting as if not she but you are her Bhabhi..

Khushi's heart pricked when she heard that.. How should she tell this to anyone that this is the fact. That even she is Anjali's Bhabhi now.

Khushi: Ok Maa.. I will go tomorrow..

Garima: Good.

Garima left and Khushi tried to sleep. She never got though. All the night the horrible flashbacks of her marriage with him kept on disturbing her.. She needed sleep. She opened the side drawer and took out some sleeping pills. She had 2 and then dozed off to sleep.
