Part 15:

Arnav: I want to see you in this sharp at 11:00 tonight... If you dont wear this.. I swear Khushi... You wont find me talking to Dad again in my life.. Forget getting him back to RM.

Khushi: What? Arnav you cant do this... You are blakmailing me..

Arnav: Like you Khushi.. You too are doing the same.. So lets play it even..

He said that and then moved in the bathroom. She saw the time.. It was 07:00. She still had 4 hours to find another excuse tonight..

She went down hurridly and went staraight to Arnav's Dad with his medicine..

Arnav's Dad: Khushi.. You here? I mean I thought I would be seeing you tomorrow morning directly.. (He chuckled)

Khushi: Dad.. Please.. I am soo nervous and you are making fun of me..

Arnav's Dad: Nervous? Why? Did he tell something again?

Khushi: Yeah.. He did..

Arnav's Dad: Is it something which I can hear or anything more private?

Khushi: I dont know.. I mean I cannot even tell you.. Wish you would have been my Mother in law and not father in law..

Arnav's Dad was laughing now.. He understood a bit what she meant and tried to tell him,,

Arnav's Dad: Well Khushi.. Dont be so nervous.. Look you are married to him and this is not as easy as you think it would be..

Khushi: What do you mean by not easy Dad?

Arnav's Dad: I meant Ignoring Arnav and his love..

Khushi: Dad.. Please.. Its hardly a matter of 1 month.. I have to try..

Arnav's Dad: This 1 month should not apart you both for lifetime Khushi.. Arnav too has his own wishes towards you.. He loves you so much.. Dont be so adamant.. Accept him..

Khushi: I dont know dad what I would do.. But I need to do something.. I wont even deny his wishes and wont even fulfil them..

Arnav's dad: Hows that possible?

Khushi: Thats what I need to think.. Well I would do that once you take your medicines Dad..

He smiled and took the medicines. He then held her hand and made her feel a bit better. He told her not to worry so much on his and Arnav's relation. He knew nothing and no one could ever mend this relation between them.

She went in the Kitchen. Though she was a new bride she didnt feel to rest and give the household work to the Servants.. She herself made the food and she knew what she had to make today.. His and his Dads favourite.. Chinese.. She was making the food ready when he came in..

Arnav: Khushi.. I am hungry..

He hugged her from behind and she gulped..

Khushi: Just 15 minutes more Arnav.. The food is almost ready..

Arnav: Ok.. By the way.. Why are you cooking? Where are the servants?

Khushi: Arnav I denied them helping me today.. Thats ok..

Arnav: What? No way Khushi.. You are my wife.. We have got married yesterday and you started with all this? And Dad didnt even ask you not to? Well Thats why you so thin. I guess we need to return to RM soon.. Or else you will keep on working like this here..

Khushi: Arnav.. Dont dont get dad in between .. He doesnt know I am in Kitchen.

Arnav: Fine.. Whats cooking by the way?

Khushi: Chinese..

Arnav: Hmm not bad..

Khushi continued cooking and Arnav was not at all leaving her waist.. He was still hugging her from back. She tried to ask him to leave her.. But he denied.

Finally the food was ready and Arnav left her as she had to serve the plates on the table.. Arnav helped her in getting things on the table..

Khushi: Arnav.. Go and call Dad for Dinner..

Arnav: What The..!!?? Me? I wont..

Khushi: Well fine then.. Its already 10:00 and if you want to be late I have no problem..

Arnav: Late for what?

Khushi: You forgot? You asked me to wear something at 11:00..

Arnav remembered.. Well so that means she would be wearing it..

Arnav: Khushi.. You are becoming mean now.. I know you will wear it.. I wont call Dad but..

Khushi: By the time I will serve you then call him, it will be late Arnav.. Please understand.. As it is.. you do talk to him.. So whats the harm in calling him?

Arnav: Fine.. I am calling..

He left to call his dad and Khushi smiled.. She loved asking him to do such things.. In few minutes she saw them coming downstairs..She was happy to see them together coming down. Arnav was telling something to his dad while coming and even Arnav's dad was nodding in approval. They were probably talking on some business for sure.. They didnt had much to discuss other than that.

They both came down and then got seated. Khushi served them both and then sat beside Arnav to have her food. No one talked.. Khushi then thought of starting something..

Khushi: So Dad.. When is our next meet with the Saxena's?

Arnav's DaD: In 3 days.. Why?

Khushi: I need to prepare for that meet.. So asked..

Arnav: Prepare? What do you mean Khushi? You are still gonna work with him?

Khushi: Yes Arnav.. I will.. Why?

Arnav: I thought you would be working with me now..

Khushi: Ok.. In that case I will help you both.. Fine?

Arnav: No way Khushi.. Either him or me,.. Allright?

Khushi: Arnav.. Please.. I can work with both.. Whats so big deal about it?

Arnav's Dad: Khushi.. Enough.. He is your husband.. He has the right on you.. You need to listen to him and not argue like this..

Khushi: But Dad.. Its my wish too..

Arnav's DaD: You already have wished a lot Khushi.. Spare some now..

Thats it Arnav was for the first time impressed by what he said.. Afterall it was benefitting him.. He liked that.. Well that doesnt mean anything else..He then saw Khushi.. She looked sad.. May be because his dad scolded her.. for the first time..

Arnav: Dad... Its ok.. Let her take some time. I dont mind.. And you (He said looking at her now).. Dont spoil your mood.. Allright.. Take time in deciding what you wanna do.. I am fine..

Khushi smiled at them. She was very happy from within.. She knew what she was doing.. This was the first step she had to take for mending their relation. She had to show Arnav that his dad cares for him and his words and he would never let anyone ..not even her to betray him.
