Chapter 3:

Khushi opened her eyes, her head was aching, one moment she was free to do anything and the next, her husband shows up, why had he come now, wasnt he suppose to come as soon as she had finished her studies?

All these questions raced in her mind, when his voice interuppted her thoughts,

"I see you are finally awake wife"

She groaned, did he have to keep reminding her that she was his wife,

"Can you stop calling me that?"

"What belongs to me, I call it what I want"

Khushi was outraged at this statement, what did he think she was? Some thing he owned? How dare he?

Arnav saw her eyes fill with fury, and had to supress a smile, his wife was so easy to rile up,

He saw her clenching her fist's as she walked up to him and pointed a finger at him,

"How dare you treat me like I'm an object that you have bought, I am your wife and I will not torelate you treating me like this, first of all, you come after so long claiming I'm your wife, and then you insult me by saying I belong to you, I am not afraid of you Raizada, and you better get that fact in your head" she finished with a huff

"I have not come to get you, how dare you blame me of that?, You are the one that keeps running away from me, werent you doing the same tonight?"

Khushi's eyes widened, how did he know I was running away?

Arnav caught the guilt in her eyes, before the fury replaced it.

She poked him in the chest as she said,

"You were FOLLOWING ME?"

"I keep an eye on things that belong to me"

"I DO NOT BELONG TO YOU"

"Really, Khushi Singh Raizada, because you're name suggests otherwise"

"You are mistaken if you think I'll come with you, I am not going to live with a man who doesnt know how to treat his wife, I dont need your pity, if that is why you have come to get me now"

"You are going to come with me and that is final, I want no more arguments" his tone was dangerous and a shiver ran down Khushi's spine as she realized he would anything to keep her with him, but she was Khushi Gupta and she would not give up without a fight,

"I will give you a month's time, if in that month you can convince me you have the qualities to be my husband, I shall stay with you, otherwise I shall leave"

Arnav was appalled, this chit was giving him time?

What did she think of herself?

God, she was a challenge, and Arnav Singh Raizada loved a challenge, especially one where he knew he would win.

Looking at her he said,

"And I give you one month's time, to get used to the fact Arnav Singh Raizada doesnt let go of things that belong to him"

And with that the engine came to life, as Arnav drove off,

Khushi silently made a vow to Devi Maiyya, that by the end of this month she would have Raizada on her knees or she wouldnt be Khushi Gupta anymore.

And somewhere up there Devi Maiyya chuckled as she said,

"Dear you wont be Khushi Gupta by the end of this month anyways because you will be Khushi Singh Raizada"
