Khushi: it's okay arnav, don't be jealous…

Arnav: This is enough; Khushi before you forget let me inform you, there is also a something called "work" in your life. Get ready! In case you do not remember the route since you haven't been to work for so ages, I can drop you!

Khushi: if you are unaware of this, let me tell you I have been working there for ages to forget the route. So no thanks, I can go by myself.

Riyansh: I can drop you Khushi bhabi

Khushi: thank you Riyansh, it's very sweet of you but I can go by myself

Arnav: I also asked you, you didn't said its sweet of me

Khushi: it's a different case arnav

Arnav: Khushi you are undoubtedly flirting with my brother in front of me

He was serious this time; not saying it for enjoyment and Riyansh was witnessing everything, his heart skips a beat when he heard the word brother from arnav's mouth. For a second, it seemed as if everything was back to normal like it was in their childhood but it didn't last long enough. He was longing to hear it for ages; but now when he linked the flirting with brother, he didn't appear to have a pleasant sensation.

"I have been dying to hear the word "brother" from your mouth nanav but not this way. I came back to apologize nanav, I though you would comprehend and forgive me since you are currently also in the same circumstance. I had no control over it, I'm sorry for what I did. Please forgive me" he was now begging him, it didn't look as if it was the same guy they were just chatting with. He was giving the impression of a mature elder brother, not a childish brother which he gave before.

Khushi was observing arnav's every reaction, his every emotion. He was hurt; there was pain in his eyes, they became watery just like a transparent glass. She had never seen this side of his; he hid it in the corner of his heart. There was a love in his eyes for his brother just the way he had it for his Khushi. She couldn't stand to see him hurt, her eyes were weeping.

"Arnav, I don't know what Riyansh did but what is done is already done, no one can erase the past but if we can make our future then why live a miserable one? I'm sure he did not commit a crime that he had to receive such punishment. One cannot live far from their loved ones for ages. And I understand that feeling arnav; I have been far from my family since I was little." She was weeping.

Arnav set beside her and cupped her face. He wipes her tears with his thumb and embraces her tightly. "Khushi please don't cry, you know I can't see you like this. Please, for me?"

Khushi: you will forgive him right?

"I… I will think about it." He broke the hug and left immediately.

Riyansh: he hates me, and now I even make you cry. He will hate me more.

Khushi: no he doesn't, I have seen the love for you in his eyes

Riyansh: hope it is like that

Arnav was lying on his bed concerning about his brother. His words echo in his heart, now if he consider about it, he was right. No one had control over it. If it was not Riyansh, the same would have happened since it was meant to. He knew he had forgiven his brother since the day he became vampire but his mind was not ready to accept the fact. His mind didn't wish for the heart to rule over in this issue. He recall back to when he was about to bite Khushi as he was not in control, it was just the same situation.

When he was lost in his deep thoughts, he heard a tap on the door. He heard a knock at the door; he opened the door and saw Riyansh standing.

"Can I come in?"

"As if you are not coming inside if I stop you?"

"I'm sorry Nanav!"

"Why did you come back?"

"It has already been 7 years you haven't came back home, we miss you. I came to take you"

"How is dad?"

"He always waits at the door for you to come back"

"I don't want to return"

"I'm sorry Nanav, I... I seriously am"

"Riyansh I can't return! I love Khushi and I want to live with her"

"She is a sweet girl; dad would love to see her as his daughter-in-law and mom..."

"She also would have if she was here right?"

"I'm sorry! If it was not for me, she would have been here...I"

"Leave it, I don't want to remember"

"But it's the fact that I'm responsible for mom's death, you can kill me but please return to dad"

"How can you say that so easily Riyansh? You know I can't kill you!"

"Why?"

"Because you are my elder brother damn it!!"

"Its okay if I'm elder, you still can"

"I can't kill my own brother with my hands! I'm not like you"

"I'm really sorry, please Nanav"

Khushi enter his house and saw Riyansh pleading him. She was about to speak up for Riyansh but deiced to remain silent to let them solve it.

"Nanav please return with me! Dad and I need you"

She turned to leave when she heard her name.

"What about Khushi? You want me to leave her? Riyansh you know I love her"

"Cant we take her with us"

"No we can't!!"

"But why? I know Khushi won't mind."

"It's not about her, it's about her mother. She is here!!"

Khushi was stunned with what he said! How could her mother be here? She was dead!! She felt her world tore apart. If she had a mother, why didn't she know? Most of all, how did arnav knew? Why didn't he tell her? How could she be alive, she witness her parents dying!

"What are you saying arnav? My mother has already passed away!"

He turned and saw Khushi standing at the door; he was stunned to see her here. He suddenly had an unpleasant feeling about hiding it from her.

"Khushi… I..." he tried to explain but the words were just not coming out. He was stuck at her name.

"Arnav, please don't try to cover up with something?"

"I will wait at khushi's house! You guys decided if you are coming or not" Riyansh understood the situation and decided to leave them alone to solve their problem.

"Arnav, what did you mean?"

"Khushi, I met your mother."

"But how?? My mother is dead"

"No she is not?"

"Arnav if my mother was alive I would have known! Maybe you have some misconceptions"

"No Khushi I don't. You are the one who don't know."

"But that's. It's impossible arnav my parents died in a Car accident and I am the witness"

"Khushi your mother is not who you though she was"

"What do you mean?"

"Your mother is not the one who passed away in a car accident"

"And how are you sure of that"

"I saw her. I talked to her. She sent me here to take care of you"

"So you mean you are just taking care of me then you will leave once she ask you to leave me"

"No Khushi. It's not like that"

"Then what is it arnav!!"

"Khushi you know I love you very much, I even ask for your hand"

"And why didn't you tell me anything before?"

"I was planning to tell you Khushi"

"Exactly when? When you leave me?"

"No Khushi please calm down, it's not what you think it is. I do love you. I seriously do"

Auther's index: okay soory guys for updating after such a long period of time. i was actually busy with the ramdan n some personal stuff.. so im back.. but i will be going on a vocation to pakistan after around 15 days so i wont be able to update.. but i will give u a long update before leaving.. :)
