On second thoughts, that was a rhetorical question. We know what you (yes, you Samiya, not just Khushi!) what you were thinking!

I'm hating Akshay right now. Don't force her to kiss you! Actually, do! I like mini arshi MUs, the big ones can possibly (not always) get on my nerves but the mini ones that you have put in this SS suit me just fine!

I love your style of writing. Whatever you write is so new and fresh!

I must sound really dumb right now so I'm gonna cut off before I begin sounding really mental!

Chapter Seven

When Khushi Kumari Gupta met Arnav Singh Raizada her heart jumped in her mouth. Not because of her silly crush nor because of how handsome he was looking in that tux but because of the look in his eyes. He looked so angry that he could kill somebody. She had seen Arnav angry a lot of times but never like this. His eyes red, his jaw clenched and both his fists curled into balls. Arnav was angry and he was angry at Khushi. Khushi understood this much but why he was so angry that she couldn't understand.

He took a step forward and she took one backwards. He again moved forward and she again took one step backwards. For the first time ever she was feeling actually scared of Arnav. Finally she had her back against the wall with Arnav inches away from her.

Expecting him to lash out any moment she closed her eyes. Suddenly she felt herself being pulled by her hands. She collided flush against his chest, his hand moved to her waist to steady her and his mouth descended on hers.

Khushi should have protested as a girl certainly doesn't have her first kiss in this way but the thought didn't even for once enter her mind.She kissed him back with as much fevor as her inexperienced mouth could muster. She put her finger through his hair and pulled him closer. Her heart hammering from her ribcage so hard she was sure Arnav could hear it.

After 5 minutes or so Arnav pulled back and looked straight into her eyes "Did you kiss him?" he asked her straight forwardly.

"No" she replied. And that was that.

He cupped her face in his hands and their lips met for the second time that night. This time more softly and slowly in the beginning as if savoring her taste and with each second the intensity intensified.

When Khushi would look back at her first kiss years later this is how she'd remember how soft and gentle and yet strong his lips were. His kiss wan't rough yet demanding, soft yet passionate. It was when his hand moved from her waist to softly lay on her breast did she realize that she was kissing Arnav Singh Raizada in a public hallway , who incidentally was her best friend's date. Did she just have her first kiss with La's date? It was so morally wrong that she pushed him apart using both her hands and looked at his with shocked eyes.

Arnav couldn't understand what was happening. Just now she was kissing him with equally matched passion and now she pushed him away as if he had done something that was gravely wrong. He ran a frustrated hand through his hair. He couldn't grasp what happened all so suddenly.

He made a move to take her hand in his, she jerked away his hand and ran towards the exit.

He was about to follow her when La came "Arnav it's late. Drop me home please".

Khushi came outside breathing heavily. What had just happened? How could she do this to La? Did anyone see them kissing? What if someone told La? How could she rectify the situation?

Oh my god she kissed Arnav Singh Raizada. If it was any other guy it wouldn't have been a big issue but it wasn't.

Firstly, he was La's date.

Secondly, he was her soon to be relative. Her jiji's devar. She'd have to face him her entire life. She couldn't spoil things with him.

She felt a hand on her arm. Desperately praying it wasn't Arnav's she turned around to see Yash. She breathed a sigh of relief.

"Where's Akshay?"

"He left" What she didn't tell him was she told him to leave and never contact her again.

"Wasn't he your ride home"

"Actually yeah he was. Can you do me a favor and drop me home please" Khushi said sheepishly.

"Sure, hop in"

...

"Hello Khushi"

"what happened La, why do you sound so upset"

"Arnav cancelled his date with me to your sisters wedding"

Khushi felt more guilty than ever. She knew she was responsible for this.

...

"NK I want to talk with you"

"About what"

"You know Arun has been doing quite well as a journalist"

Arun was a intern there who was learning about reporting from Khushi.

"Good"

"Yeah I wan thinking from now on he can help me in taking interviews of the players. Lateron he can take care of the sports section completely"

"And what will you do"

"I'll take care of the rest"

"yeah sounds good to me"

...

Today was the final match. Khushi and Arun took seats at the different end of the stadium from where they usually took. She was following the match while Arun was taking notes.

Arnav seemed very distracted today. Almost not himself. And during the first half they were losing the match. He kept glancing at the crowd as if looking for someone. La waved at him.

At half time Khushi saw him approaching NK. She didn't know what he told him but NK pointed towards the stands where Khushi was sitting.

Arnav put his helmet back on and looked towards their side.

"Arnav seems to be looking for someone" said Arun

"Don't know" replied Khushi.

Arnav played a lot better in the second half and they won the finals. The crowd wasb cheering like crazy.

"Khushi made it to the field and started taking interviews of Yash and Peter.

She felt someone tug her by the arms and she turned to see Arnav.

Looking obviously very happy from winning the match he asked her "Don't you want to take my interview"

"umm... Arun is coming right over to tke your interview"

At precisely that moment Arun reached them and Khushi walked away from there. Even though she had her back towards them she could feel Arnav's stare boring into her.
